A Beautiful Day! 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms. 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 2 Twins. 2 community pools (one heated), 100 yards to beach access.

Located in the heart of Summer's Edge, this classic beach cottage is just a short walk to the beach. The home has two wonderful porches to enjoy the summer breeze and a wide open floor plan on the first floor, including a living room, dining room and kitchen. There also is a bunk bed alcove for the kids on the first floor, with an adjacent powder room. The second floor features a large master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and an adjoining master bathroom, including a separate shower and sunken whirlpool tub. Also on the second floor are two other bedrooms that share a bathroom. The master bedroom and queen bedroom have direct access to the second floor porch.

This home is equipped with Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, cable, and a house phone, which includes free local and national phone calls for our guests.

Summers Edge is approximately 2 miles from the town of Seaside, located halfway between Destin and Panama City. The community is just minutes away from shopping, restaurants and many other activities in Seaside, Watercolor, Rosemary Beach, Destin and Panama City. There are great bike paths, lakes and state parks, not to mention the beautiful white sand beaches and emerald green water. The possibilities for outdoor activities abound!

Great stay

Fantastic stay. We had young children and in-law stay. The house was ideal. It is in a great location with very easy access to the beach and pools. We would recommend and plan on checking on availability next year. The host was also very responsive and accommodative which we really appreciated.

Great location!

Beautiful home in the perfect neighborhood. Easy access to beach. Only con was having to have a key fob to beach access where there was a key pad which was much easier with teenagers.

Great family vacation

We very much enjoyed our week at A Beautiful Day. The home was perfect for our family, which included 3 small children and my parents. We had more than enough room to spread out. Also, the street it was on was perfect for kids because it wasn't a thru street so very few cars drove by. The home is only a short walk to the beach and both pools too. This was our first time to the 30A area and we hope to make it an annual tradition going forward. Thanks!

A Great Stay on 30A

Our family of six (with teens and young adults) had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home. Summerā€™s Edge is our favorite community to stay in because of the charming homes, short walk to the beach and proximity to shops and restaurants. This home was perfect for us with plenty of room for everyone. We love to eat in and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. The living room has a lot of seating and there were tvā€™s in every room with Netflix and local channels. We had a minor issue with the kitchen disposal and the owner responded immediately and had someone out to fix it within hours. We would definitely stay at A Beautiful Day again. Thanks for the great memories!

The only reason I don't give 5 stars to this house is because a misleading information about bed siz

i would like to start by saying the house is beautiful, very clean and I am a very pick person. Very well equipped. Nice appliances. A short and easy walk to the beach. Cute street, easy access to rent bikes. Almost nothing to complain. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the bunk bed they show in the pictures and they are clear that is not a bedroom, they don't say, at least until the day I rented, that the bunk bed size is for little kids. I had 2 14-15 teens, almost 5.9ft tall and they couldn't fit. They had to sleep in the couch. That was very annoying. But if your family has maybe 8 or 9 years old or younger, you can give 5 stars to the house. My only recommendation to the owner is: make sure you tell the size of the bed. Also please add a blow dryer to the bathroom. That's all ... awesome house folks.

Family vacay

The property was excellent for our family of 4 adults & 4 kids (5-11). Parking for 2 maybe 3 vehicles, nice open downstairs living/kitchen/dining, great master suite ( comfortable bed), close walk to beach. We did bring a beach wagon which was a huge help. Owner ver y responsive & helpful! We were able to add a night e route. Will definitely stay here again.

Great house, great neighborhood.

My family of five had a lovely vacation in your home. The house was well furnished and equipped with all we needed. Beds were comfortable, front porch and balcony were great and the walk to the beach was short. I particularly liked the upstairsā€™ balcony furniture. Those chairs are unique, beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you very much for an amazing stay!

Wonderful stay during Spring Break

We had a wonderful spring break! The home was so much cuter in person than in the pictures. So clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the upstairs deck area. The location was fabulousā€”close to everything and very close to the beach. Nicole, the property manager , was great. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute neighborhood

Great house and very quiet neighborhood. The beach access is clearly labeled. You will need to use beach access coming and going to the beach. I didnā€™t think it was as close of a walk to the beach. A good 5 minutes. It was long for my parents at 85/83 years. ****most importantly, the beach is blocked off. Lots of ā€œprivate property, no walking in front of beachfront homesā€ signs, and if you bring your own beach chairs, you WILL NOT be allowed to place it at the water line. You feel like ā€œsecond class citizensā€ sitting behind 30a rental chairs that are for ā€œbeachfront rental patronsā€ only. There is only 1 beach rental agency and only give 1st row chair/umbrella access to beachfront rental persons. All others are behind on a first come basis. The beach is beautiful. White sand. But due to those rentals, it is wall to wall with umbrellas and chairs and can barely walk thru. Other than that, the area and home are quiet and clean. Great family friendly. Great trails. The home had a great kitchen, appliances, dishes/utensils etc. we made all meals minus 1 lunch (dinner is packed at restaurants), so I had everything I needed. Publix grocery is 3 miles away. I wish the home had an outdoor shower, welcome mat on inside front door and back door but thatā€™s my only criticism for the home. Just be prepared for the area. Every space is occupied for beach rentals.

Great house so close to the beach

We really enjoyed this house, the location to the beach, the pools, etc. The house was clean and had plenty of room for us and our two boys, there was enough room for more people. We rented bikes and enjoyed the proximity to the bike paths. The owner is very nice and easy to get in touch with. Thank you for a great stay!
