Pet-friendly - Walk to Pier Village



The Space:

Brand new to the vacation rental market! This adorable little bungalow is just a half mile (7-8 min walk) to pier village and a 7 minute walk to 11th street public beach access. At pier village you have your choice of some of the best restaurants and bars on the island, ice cream, shopping and the beautiful coastal views from the pier itself.



Inside the home you have a beautiful open floorplan that includes two large living room areas. From the back living room you have floor to ceiling windows that highlight the backyard tropical oasis that is the main gem of the home! Outside there is a large area for relaxing and entertaining. You are surrounded by bamboo, trees, a variety of plants and even a small pond. This home has one of the best backyard set ups on the south end of SSI!



The yard is fully fenced so your pups can live their best life!



Inside the home you have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has a King bed, one a Queen and the third is a twin trundle bed. In one bathroom you have a shower/tub combo and in the other you have a walk-in shower.



The home is furnished with everything you can need for a short or long stay including a fully-stocked kitchen, beach towels and beach chairs. Need extra beach equipment or games? If your stay is between March 1 and October 31, you will receive a beach gear credit of $35/night for stays 3-21 nights.



The home comes with starter supplies to make your stay comfortable including toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry pods. If you are staying for an extended period and expect to need more than start supplies, there are several stores close by!



Please note:



Up to 2 pets are welcome with a $50 pet fee. There are some breed and size restrictions so please contact us before booking to inquire.



FLETC TDY welcome.



Pack N Plays, high chairs and strollers available upon request for $15 each for the duration of your stay. Please notify us at least 1 day in advance if you would like to rent them so we can ensure they are delivered prior to your arrival.



Please consider purchasing travel insurance for your trip. This may cover you for instances of medical emergencies or inclement weather. We unfortunately can’t offer refunds for these types of situations so we want to ensure you’ve properly covered yourself.



Anything other than a regular vehicle may not fit in the driveway. If you plan to bring a trailer, please reach out to us prior to booking to ensure it would fit.



House Rules:

- Please note that smoking inside the property is prohibited and will result in a minimum $2,000 fine.



- Quiet hours per the county are 9pm to 8am. Violation of ordinance will result in immediate eviction without refund.



- No loud music. No parties. No parking on the lawn.



- All pet droppings must be picked up or a $50 fee will be assessed.



- There will be a $75 minimum charge for any missing remotes, including ceiling fan, and TV remotes.



- Maximum of 2 pets.



Guests must be at least 24 years old to book this property.



After booking we do require a rental agreement and rental form to be signed in order to stay at our home. We appreciate the understanding on this as we want to protect all parties involved!



There is a $50 non-refundable processing fee that applies to all reservations.



Guest Access:

The home is easily accessible from a smart lock on the front door.



The Neighborhood:

This is a quiet little neighborhood just a few minutes walk to pier village and to 11th street beach access!



Getting Around:

Walking, cars and golf carts are permitted.



Other Things to Note:

For any stay 60 or more days, an additional cleaning fee of $175 will be added after booking. If the cleaning fee is unpaid 7 days prior to check-in, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without a refund. 



For stays of 30 nights or more, we will collect a $750 refundable security deposit.



Linens are provided for your stay along with a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, body wash and laundry pods. They will not be replenished during your stay so make sure to bring some extras if you need!

Perfect location and great layout of the house especially sharing with family or another couple. Walking distance to beach and town and a golf cart or bike would get you anywhere else on the island. House and yard itself could use some TLC and maintenance but expected of an older house.

The yard was peaceful and kept our dog entertained; she had fun rolling in the dirt/mud. It would’ve been great if there was a hose to rinse her off. The house is older and has some DIY updates, but overall adorable and the king mattress was amazing! Great location, we had rented a cart and could go anywhere easily with that or by foot. The owner checked in with us daily to confirm things were going well.

The place was clean, but a bit run down on the exterior. Very convenient location in a cute neighborhood. We received an odd message 2 hours after departing asking us to please leave so they could clean. We are not sure who was there. It seemed odd to assume it was us, accusing us of checking out late instead of asking if the cars there were us. It was just me and my spouse with our 1 car and we had left well before the required check out time of 10 am.

The house was located in a nice neighborhood and an easy walk to town and the beach. It was a one-level ranch about 100 years-old, was clean with most necessary items available, and generally met our needs. The host (local property manager) was helpful. The kitchen was functional with an electric stove and microwave, and necessary pots/pans, etc. The dining and living rooms were spacious. The main bedroom and bathroom were comfortable. The king bed was nice with a dresser and closet available. The main bathroom tub/shower had a grab bar, but the showerhead was quite low. The second bedroom/bath had a comfortable queen bed and a nice step-in shower with a good showerhead. A small set of drawers and a little hanging space were out in the entryway but not in the bedroom. The entryway room (between the second bed/bath and the carport) had a day bed but was not a private third bedroom. The second bedroom and entryway area were hard to keep heated (it was in the low 40’s at night) without the rest of the house being too hot. The second bedroom/bath and the entryway area were slightly lower than rest of the main house requiring a step up to get to the kitchen, and there was also a step needed from the kitchen and dining/living room down to the family/TV room. This could be a concern for people with difficulty navigating steps. The backyard patio off the family/TV room was nice with a small recirculating pond and mature vegetation, but the grounds needed attention.

The property is in a great,very safe location. Its walking distance(5-10min) to downtown area-with beaches,dining,and various stores. We found most restaurants to be pet friendly. There is a park at the end of the street that has pickleball,tennis,playground and a ball field. The house itself is very clean and as listed except for the back yard which needs some work(there is no grill). We had palmetto bugs in the kitchen on 2 separate occasions.
