Come and enjoy our beautiful Gentle Winds condo, your vacation home in Paradise.
Walk right in, everything is ready for you. Unpack if you like, or not.
Jump into your bathing suit; grab one of our lovely beach towels, out the back screen
Porch door, walk two minutes. AH! You are in the pool, on the warm sandy beach, or enjoying a
delicious beverage of choice. Our condo has the most convenient access to the beach
and pool of any at Gentle Winds. The pool is chlorine free.
On GW property there are 2 tennis courts, a pitch and putt golf area, and a children’s playground.
For your sightseeing and adventuring there are multitude of things to do.
Botanical gardens, Whim House {a restored sugar plantation}, many beautiful places for SCUBA
Diving, 3 golf courses, Divi Casino, half day and all day boat and sailing trips to Buck Island where
You can snorkel and swim around in a US National Underwater Park.
Good restaurants abound, with a variety from the golden arches to tux clad waiters.
Should you desire to do your gourmet thing at home, our kitchen is fully equipped

Perfect location

We loved our time in St Croix and this condo did not disappoint!! Perfect location to walk right out to the beach or pool. Would stay again without a doubt !!!

Just as described. Perfect location

The location of the condo is ideal. There is a nice view of the ocean, beach, and pool. The community is wonderful! We loved having a VRBO with resort-style amenities (beach bar, pool, beach chairs and umbrellas). I also like that the condo was decorated with local art that showcased the culture of the island. As other reviewers mentioned, the condo is a bit dated, but that seems to be the norm across the island. The kitchen was very well stocked but could use a good deep cleaning and/or pest control. The owner was so quick to respond to all of my questions, even while we were there. We would stay here again if we returned to St. Croix.

Great complex with both beach & pool

PROS: beautiful grounds - ideal condo complex because it has BOTH a beautiful pool & gorgeous beach right on site! Having the beach shack bar & grill right on the beach was also SO amazing! Condo is a one minute walk to pool &/or beach- walk right out the patio door and you’re there! You can hear the waves from the screened in porch which was so relaxing. Lots of beach towels to use and a well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, plates, pots/pans, glasses, etc. The owner was always quick to reply to any inquiries we had - very dependable. CONS: only minor cons we can think of to mention is that the unit is slightly “tired”/dated & could use some TLC. The master bedroom bed box spring was extremely noisy and when my husband would turn over at night, it would wake me up. The screened in porch was a little small for 4 people but we still managed to have fun out there & enjoy the beach waves. We usually only spent the evenings inside the unit, so none of these were a big deal for us.

Awesome views!

The property's views and proximity to the ocean were fantastic! The condo was basically clean, maybe needs a little overall TLC cleaning. But overall my group would go back to St. Croix and rent the condo again. Property owner called twice to inquire and give direction to the use of the unit and overall property.

Two Weeks In Paradise

Entire complex is fantastic... Clean, well maintained... Beach, Pool and Snack Bar all just steps away from the Condo... Everything we needed for our stay was provided and owner was easy to work with... Definitely would and hope to stay there again...

Christmas Break 2021

The condo is in a great location. Lower level with direct access to the pool and the beach, snack bar, and clubhouse. St Croix is so beautiful and so much to do (or not do...lounging in the beach all day...) Thank you Gordon! Until next visit! Barb, Belinda, and Brent

Cute Condo

We had an amazing week at Gentle Winds J5. Mr Gordon was a great host, available for us if we had any questions or concerns and had recommendations for the island since we had never been. The condo was cute and clean and the perfect place for our family of 4. The beach and pool were great along with the snack shack. We hope to be back soon!

Gentle Winds J5

This was truly an amazing experience! We loved the condo. It was one of the best locations... close to beach and pool. It was stocked with everything you could want. I think the only thing we couldn’t find was a cutting board. Gordon definitely helped us out with recommendations for car rental. I would recommend this condo to anyone!!

Nice 1st floor condo. Gorgeous property, warm sandy beach. Huge pool. Clean and well cared for. Close to town, kayaking, restaurants plus a great clean snack bar on the grounds. Nice. Gentle Winds.

This is a great location! The beach, pool and grounds are well kept and comfortable. The condo itself was perfect for our group of three women but can accommodate four. We especially liked the screened in porch as a place to eat breakfast an just chill. The other owners were friendly and glad to share information about things to do and places to go. If you intend to see more of the island you can get taxis but a rental car was valuable if you're comfortable driving on the left. Communication with Gordon was great, he even made a second phone call to expand on something that had been mentioned in an earlier call.

Sunny St Croix

The resort complex itself was well maintained and centrally located between Cane Bay for snorkeling and Christiansted for shopping. The owner was easy to reach by phone and was certainly helpful when I called about the A/C not working. We elected not to spend time waiting for repairmen while on vacation so chose to let it be. My husband did get it working on the final day so perhaps we were just not turning it on correctly. The condo was spacious, very well stocked and had a good ocean view. It was in need of some general repair (Large rust stain in the bathtub, some damage to the bottom of an interior door and wall ) but was clean with a large supply of beach towels and linens.. We had great weather and enjoyed exploring the island of St Croix.

Great Spot in St Croix

Property was unit J5 in Gentle Winds St Croix. Beautiful location and well manicured large-estate type grounds. Great pool tiki hut and beach a nine iron away. Owner was very attentive and genuinely interested that we have all we needed and were doing OK. Unit had single beds in both of its bedrooms which fit our needs exactly Liked fact that cleaning person left items like ketchup liquor and other items in refrigerator so we had necessities without immediately going to market Condo was very island oriented but could have used a little upgrading but was perfect for us. Being an owner of beach front property myself I know the issues of upkeep with the ocean air Great Trip

Great time at Gentle Winds

Geat Property!

This is a great property, close to the beach and better than the pictures. If you are looking for a laid back beach vacation, this is it. Everything you need to have a great vacation

Beautiful ocean front where you can walk right out to the beach!

Located on the north shore which is by far the most scenic and beautiful part of St Croix. The unit is very clean and updated. The nicest beach on the island with coral reef 25 ft off beach. Fantastic snorkeling. I saw an octopus! Don't forget to visit the tidal pools and Off The Wall Beach Bar. Don't miss the "Beer Drinking Pig". Can't wait to go back there!!!

SOOOOO Nice!

Contact with the owner of this property was easy, friendly and helpful. He was available for any questions and attended to the slightest issue (getting us an extra key). The condo is breezy and comfy, very clean and just right for a relaxed caribbean visit! The location within the Gentle Winds complex is outstanding, with a lovely view of the ocean as well as the fun lights of the pool in the evening. Sitting on the screened porch is both a morning coffee and an evening cocktail MUST! The open kitchen is a huge plus, many of the units haven't been updated and the kitchens are closed to the view and living area. We stayed here for a month, and the time passed much too quickly! We'll be back.
