We strive to provide 5 beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella and try to replenish the supply when needed. We cannot guarantee the type and amount of beach equipment that will be there when you arrive as these items get broken, misplaced, left in rental cars or loaned to other visitors. While I cannot absolutely guarantee it, an adequate supply is usually available. I recommend you check before renting equipment.

TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE: Please note our firm cancellation policy. We strongly recommend trip insurance. Please, don't be that person who wishes they had bought insurance. There are many options for travel insurance and you need to read the finer details carefully. It is also available here through VRBO.

Maximum occupancy is 5 and is monitored, Sofa sleeping not allowed. An exception can be made for toddlers and infants in portable cribs.

This is a beautiful unit and the view is the best I have seen in Poipu. You can tell that the owner takes a lot of pride in her condo. Things are meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. We have stayed in many different units in the complex and this is our favorite. Everything was very clean and the owner was excellent at communicating with us. We will be back next year!

Exceptional property close to the ocean and several great restaurants. Very comfortable and the AC made the stay even more appealing. Many condos on Kauai rely on the trade winds with no AC, but not this one! Deb, our host, was a great resource to make our stay even more wonderful. We will be back and look forward to another memorable stay! Five stars!

Amazing place to stay!! The views from the lanai were the best, and the rainbows just wow! So close to poipu and Brennekes beach! The turtles and monk seals were so great to see. Also the location is so close to many restaurants that were all good! The place was immaculate and Deb was great! Her communication was great and very easy to ask questions and responded quickly ! We had a wonderful stay The condo was really close to Poipu Beach. We were able to walk down to the beach from the condo. It was just perfect. Everything was clean. It was very roomy and had all the amenities for playing at the beach and was conveniently located to restaurants and shops in Poipu. Our host was amazing. She communicated with us upon arrival and checked in with us to make sure everything was going good.

Great Location!

This condo was perfect for our family of 4 and had a great location walking distance to Poipu beach with many restaurants and shops in the area. It is a very quite complex and was a good home base as we explored the island. Deborah communicated very well to ensure we had everything we needed.

This condo is in a great location with beautiful views. We were so thankful to have air conditioning during our stay as it was in the low 90ā€™s. The beds are very comfortable and the property is well stocked for preparing meals though bring your own seasonings as there was just salt and pepper. This property is very clean which is important to me. The flights of stairs were difficult moving our luggage upon arrival and departure but manageable when not carrying heavy items. We were able to park right in front of the condo as very few cars were in the lot during our stay early September which made for a peaceful stay. The only thing I would change is using a keyless entry but thatā€™s a pretty minor adjustment. Deb is a wonderful host who truly cares about the comfort of your stay with fantastic communication. Donā€™t hesitate to stay here!

Amazing view & amazing host! Deb was great at communicating and has everything youā€™d need in the condo. It was so great to not have to worry about packing shampoo or body wash and to have plenty of toilet paper and towels. She had everything labeled and available should you need it! We are a family of 5 so our kids shared the queen and 1 had their own twin bed. The condo was spacious and it was such an amazing view and location. We even enjoyed a short dip in the condo pool after returning from the beach so we could cool off. The property grounds are lovely. I wish we could go back tomorrow!!

Beautiful condo and stunning sunset view ! We feel at home.

This condo is beautiful and walking distance to a very nice kid friendly Poipu Beach ! We enjoyed so much and we feel at home while staying there. Everything we need is provided by owner Deb. Have bath towels, boogie boards, beach umbrella, beach chairs, coffee, cooking oil, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, body soap,shampoo, and many more! The owner is very nice and have a very good communication. The condo is very clean ! I can't find a spot that i need to clean when we arrived. The beds are very comfortable and have a white clean beddings. The furnitures are also very nice. We enjoyed seating in the sofa and also the outdoor furnitures while watching sunset. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Kauai ! Thank you Deb for letting us enjoy your condo !

Absolutely Fabulous

For many years, my wife and I always planned on going to Kauai for our 40th wedding anniversary. We spent a lot of time researching what we thought would be the perfect place and when we saw the pictures on the VRBO site, we new this was exactly what we wanted. To our suprise, this place was even better in person. As soon as we walked in the front door we were both in awe of the view. Not only did the balcony overlook the ocean, there was also a panoramic views of the mountains. We also enjoyed many beautiful rainbows. This place had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished, well maintained and very clean. The host was also a pleasure to deal with.

After many trips to Hawaii since the 80's We made the vacation home dream a reality in 1998. All it took were the views from lanai and we were sold.
We currently live in Seattle with our 3 dachshund children. Living a relatively short distance away means that we can make many trips there for both vacationing and being a hands-on owner. We want our guests to have the same experience we wanted in our many years of renting. Our (human) children were only 10 and 12 when we purchased and they've enjoyed many long stays at Nihi Kai over the years - testament to the fact that Kauai is for children too.
