Summerwind Cottage



The Space:

This delightful cottage has a wonderful beach style house design. A spacious great room runs from the front to the back of the cottage and the elevation lets you enjoy the ocean breezes. This cottage has a deck with a gas grill and a large screened porch for swings and outdoor dining. It is within walking distance to all amenities and has fairway and wooded views. The cottage has four TVs, hardwood floors, and wireless internet. The bedding includes one king, one queen, and two twins.



A Seabrook Island Amenity Card is available with this property for the daily fee. The maximum fee for Club access is $185 per week or $30 per day; fees are lower during the off-season (Nov-Feb). This fee is for everyone in the party, not per individual. The Amenity Card gives you access to the Beach Club (with two outdoor pools and a beach area), the restaurants, golf, tennis, the equestrian center, and the Lake House (with one outdoor pool, a fitness center, indoor pool). Some of these amenities do have their own fees associated with them as well such as the restaurants, golf, tennis, the fitness center, and the indoor pool. When you book a reservation with us, we send you the information on how to obtain the card, as it is purchased directly through Seabrook Island.



This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, internet, a DVD player, a fully- equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service, and a starter supply of paper products and detergents.



A Seabrook Island Amenity Card is available with this property for a daily fee, providing access to your entire party to a range of resort amenities, some of which may have additional charges. Fees are lower during the off-season (Nov-Feb). When you book a reservation with us, we will send you the information on how to obtain the card, as it is purchased directly through Seabrook Island. The card must be ordered in advance to your stay.

The pool area and beach access was nice. Very expensive area. By the time you add all the fees I felt a little pricey. The condo moves when someone is actively walking inside.

Weekend Golf & Networking Trip

The property was as advertised and worked well for our group. Being centrally located on Seabrook and having access to their amenities was important. The Vacasa customer service text number was very helpful as we had a maintenance issue and a check out question which were quickly addressed.

Great beach cottage but needs TLC

Property was very clean (service does a great job.) Back porch was our favorite spot, beautiful! The cottage does need furniture update, very worn. Bedding for queen (sheets were pilled and rough) and single bed room also needs replacement. Lighting in single bed room was only by lamp and that worked 1/2 time. Bug problemā€¦antsā€¦roachesā€¦ is this property sprayed regularly? Plan on bringing beach chairs & umbrella. We rented bikes. Overall, we still had a great time. Seabrook is a wonderful family spot for a low key and relaxing vacation.

This was our second trip to Seabrook Island. We had a wonderful relaxing vacation. This cottage had everything we needed. The large screened in porch was my favorite spot on the property! Lots of room with comfortable furniture and no bugs!!

Perfect Island Getaway

This was a really great place to stay. It was very clean and included everything we needed for our weekend retreat. The unit is older and has a lot of charm. There have been nice updates done in the kitchen. The screened in porch made for a really nice place to relax and to have meals. The unit is about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

Property was very nice. Had a well stocked kitchen and was very clean. Agent that I spoke with on the phone with Vacasa was somewhat pushy and not helpful. Asked about a late check out and she advised me I would need to check back 2-3 days prior to my departure and I was only staying for 2 nights.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a good experience. The property was very clean for the most part. The screened porch area and furniture were dirty, the gas grill was not cleaned at all (we had to do it before using), and all furniture is dated (a new dining table is needed). A DVD was advertised, so we brought movies. However, the DVD was only available on a 17" screen in a bedroom and not for the big screen in the living room. A DVD player should be available for the main TV so all can view. The only beach access was driving to the main clubhouse area and parking there. There is no beach access from this property; you are on a golf course. The area is very quiet and relaxing.
