This Sand Castle condo is the ideal blend of coastal glam and comfort. Savor gorgeous views of the Gulf waters and all the spectacular sunsets from your private balcony - accessible from the living area and primary bedroom. Dig your toes in the sand, splash in the waves, and stroll along the beach collecting seashells and memories. Bask in the Florida sunshine while you lounge beside the complex's heated pool, unwind in the on-site hot tub, or serve up some fun on the beach volleyball court.



Located on the sixth floor, this condo features a spacious, open floor plan with delightful ambiance. The modern kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and helpful gadgets that include a Keurig, traditional coffee maker, and a crockpot. Share family-style meals at the six-person dining table.



A quiet beach community just south of Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores is a popular destination for snowbirds and seabirds that boasts an assortment of shops and restaurants. Just 19 blocks long, the area is known for its friendly atmosphere, panoramic beaches, great seafood, and tropical wildlife. It is home to the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the U.S.

Construction will be ongoing around the property for 2025 due to Hurricane Damage. there will be noise, vibrations, and inconveniences.

The pictures need to be updated on VRBO site. The photos do not accurately depict the suite. I had looked forward to the bright, yellow family room and beach vibes. Instead we got basic gray walls and a wooden backsplash behind the tv that makes you dizzy when looking at the screen. It looked so different than the picture, that I wondered if we had been given the wrong condo. WiFi was not working the first 3 days and the drier took hours and hours and hours to dry a small load of clothes and yes lint trap was checked and cleaned with each load. Also there was an issue with the toilet in the master suite and it wouldn’t stop running. Despite all of these annoyances…the view from the balcony was worth every minor issue…the gorgeous ocean, the beautiful lower patio & pool.That view sells the place, hands down!!! Overall the suite was clean and well maintained, just not what I had expected.

This condo was exactly what we wanted for our vacation. On the beach, close to local merchants, a pool on property for evening swims, and a well-stocked kitchen for quick meals in. It over-delivered on decor…the pics are outdated…the decor has been updated with new grey wall paint, a farm-house, white dining table that seats 6, bar seating for 4, and a wooden feature wall with an in-wall fireplace below the TV - BEAUTIFUL! We also appreciated the 5 beach chairs and coolers in the balcony closet. We added an 8.5’ beach umbrella to the collection, which saved us nearly 50 a day on renting beach loungers & umbrellas from the local vendor. This was the perfect spot for our family to make memories!

Excellent Family Stay

Unit was perfect for our family of 4. Had so many essentials in the patio storage area for the beach that we didn’t need to purchase ( chairs, umbrella, coolers, toys). Would definitely recommend this place.

Great vacation

Property was just as listed. Condo was well stocked, including beach towels and a cooler. Great ocean view from balcony and just a few steps to the beach. Our only issue was with the elevators. There was only 2 and 1 was out of service the entire week. The remaining elevator was also broken for 2 days leaving steps as the only option.

Birthday break!

I brought my daughters to my favorite beach to celebrate my birthday. We had an awesome time and was very pleased with the unit we stayed in. It was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful location!

Sandy Days at Sand Castle

We loved the location along Gulf Blvd. and the proximity to the ocean and several restaurants. It had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay(spent a great deal of time on the balcony too). I'm always trying to find lodging that has hot tubs and this one did have one along with a nice heated pool.

GREAT PLACE WITH AN OUTSTANDING VIEW.

OVERALL THE PROPERTY WAS FANTASTIC. THE WASHING MACHINE WAS BROKEN HOWEVER IT WAS MY FAULT THAT IT WAS NOT REPLACED... THE DISHWASHER WAS BROKEN AS WELL!

Beach trip

We had a few problems but they got resolved with time. 1st wrong code was given to get into condo. Then shower drain was plugged. Pictures showed washer and dryer but you couldn't use the dryer it wasn't vented. And washer did not complete cycle.

Beach trip

There were pros and cons to our trip. Pros: great views from the balcony. Short walk to the beach. Comfortable beds overall condition of condo was average. Cons: key code did not work upon arrival. Had to use cleaning crews to Provide access. Second bathroom had mold in the shower area and caulking that should never be acceptable. The cleaning crew did respond and did their best to remove the mold but the shower needs work. No beach chairs for the unit, though rentals are available for a fee, though they can’t be moved. Overall a decent functional unit.

Disillusioned and disappointed!

I really do not know where to begin! We have stayed in Indian Shores at several different Beach Side 3 Bedroom Condos over the years and they have all been varying degrees of wonderful! This Condo was terrible! They call it a 3 Bedroom Condo but the tiny 3rd bedroom has no closet and no real dresser. My daughter and her husband lived out of their suitcases for 2 weeks. The front door lock was not working as we arrived it took a couple of hours to get in. The Condo was sooo dirty!! Mould in the second bathroom all around the tub and glass enclosure. Sand on the floors everywhere!! The tiny little washer/dryer in the middle of the Condo with a note saying only use for bathing suits and underwear was so full of mould and had such a terrible smell coming out of it. We never used it, obviously. They have a Laundry area on the 2nd floor! Grab your money and don’t expect the towels to get dry any time soon. It cost so much money to wash our things!! We actually did all the beach towels and towels from our Unit before we left because we felt sorry for the next people that would be arriving. We left the Condo cleaner then when we arrived. For sure!! There was 6 of us staying there for 2 weeks. We never used one plate or glass or utensil! They all were so old and the cupboards were so dirty. Everything was dirty. The sinks, the fridge, the counter tops, the oven and cook top. We were all disgusted with the place. The photos of the Condo on VRBO are deceiving and the pictures must have been taken years prior. The sheets for our beds were so dingy and they did not even fit properly! The bed spreads were very soiled looking. The hair dryer in the Ensuite looked like you would get electrocuted if you used it!! To say we were very disappointed would be such an understatement. I never write reviews of the places we have stayed. This year I am feeling badly that I did not say nice things about all these other lovely Vacation Condos that we have stayed at and enjoyed. Think twice before you book this place. Indian Shores is lovely. The beach is beautiful. The pool at Sand Castle 1 is very nice. The elevator was clean and so fast. The grounds were kept very nicely. This Unit needs to be totally renovated or at least scrubbed and re painted and new appliances. So our advice, beware!!

Nice and quiet

The condo is very nice and the beds are comfortable. The view is great. The comforters were dirty and there were food crumbs all over the kitchen floor. We had teenagers with us so not much for them to do in this area but if you want relaxing and quiet I’d highly recommend!

Condo was nice, fully equipped. Master bedroom TV did not work. Key code check in experience disappointing- took an hour of standing outside, texting several times to get entry. Condo complex very nice, beach was beautiful! Would also recommend having beach chairs available for use.

Updated condo with a great view

We had a great stay and would give the condo a 4.5 if we could. The condo was clean, updated and the kitchen was well equipped. The porch has lots of seating and a spectacular view. Beach access was easy and the pool was adequate. The only issue was the drier would not run. It would give us an error message and stop. It is un-vented so we understood not to put in large items but this was different. Also when we arrived the primary bedroom bed had not been made. These items should not stop you from renting the condo just reasons we could not go full 5.

Family Christmas Vacation

This property was excellent for our family. The rooms were immaculate! We met the owner who was just next door and he offered anything that we might need to make our stay a success. Everything we needed was in the unit. The beach/ocean front views were breathtaking. The restaurant suggestions were outstanding. We highly recommend this unit. I was only saddened when I went to book for the following year and found the price to be double what it was before.

Ultimate Family vacay

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was right there at our fingertips. Especially loved all the beach equipment. The kitchen was very well stocked. Very convenient location. The weather was great. Beds very comfortable. The fridge did give us some trouble but help was very quick. Wouldn’t count on water dispenser though. It was fabulous accommodations for our family of 6. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Very nice stay!

The condo was nicely decorated and the view was perfect! There were plenty of items stocked in the kitchen so very little was needed since we knew we are not doing a lot of cooking. They had beach chairs and towels and toy for the younger ones. Overall it was a great week and we would definitely return!
