Fish Cottage & Parrot Cottage on SUNSET BEACH!

Located on Sunset Beach, these charming themed cottages, Tropical Fish and Tropical Parrot, are perfect for a beach vacation in a relaxed, off the beaten path beach community. It makes a great get-away for fun and relaxation. These cottages are located just half block walk to the clean blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico and its uncrowded, clean, white sandy beach. Its evenings
afford you the ever changing and most breathtaking sunsets. When you vacation on Sunset Beach,
you will be 'LIVING ON ISLAND TIME.'
The 700 square foot cottage updated with a new kitchen,
central air and heat, refinished high gloss hardwood floors, updated bathroom, comfortable
furnishings, and much more. The cottages' Tropical Fish and Tropical Parrot themes are carried throught each cottage.
Each cottage has a large bedroom with a king-size bed and glass doors to its private deck. There is a queen-size
sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate two more guests. Also, there is a over-stuffed,
extremely comfortable futon in the sunroom which can accommodate two additional guests. There
are bi-fold doors on the sunroom which can close and make a second private bedroom. Dining for
six in the dining area or under the stars on either of the two wooden decks with lush tropical plants.
Local dining, dancing, and entertainment are just steps away. Or maybe you'll enjoy riding the local
trolley from St. Pete Beach to Clearwater Beach, or perhaps visit the downtown waterfront. It is just 20 minutes to Downtown St. Petersburg's Dali and Chihuly museums of Art,
30 minutes to Tampa’s Busch Gardens, Historic Ybor City, Channelside, and Hyde Park. Just one
and a half hours to Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
Many of our guests fall in love with the cottages and return year after year!

Hidden gems

Location is perfect for these cabins. Small oasis off the beaten path that is quiet but very conveniently located near businesses and beaches but not “concrete jungle”. Elizabeth was very accommodating no matter the request.

Super cute cottage that was fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun week in the sunshine. The beach was a very short walk to the beach and multiple fun restaurants and bars.

Perfect cottage near beach

Parrot Cottage was perfect for our needs...excellent location within walking distance to family event. Quaint, cute, comfortable, clean. Owner was very accommodating and responded promptly to a leaky faucet problem. Highly recommended. Would be happy to stay there again.

Cozy, Quaint, and Comfortable!!

We just finished our month stay at the Fish cottage and it was a very enjoyable stay. We had everything we needed right there in this cottage including the beautiful sunshine everyday we were there. We enjoyed many days at the beach which was only a short walk away. And right there with that was a nice Tiki bar and a wonderful restuarant. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful. The owner is very accommodating. We can't wait to come back!! Edna and Dennis

All the prior reviews were correct

This was our first visit to the Fish and Parrot cottages and I'm sure not our last. The location is perfect for access to the beach. The bed was very comfortable, and there wasn't anything missing in terms of appliances, kitchen utensils, barbeque, laundry, umbrellas and yes even a nice flat screen TV with cable and wifi Internet. This was one of our most relaxing vacations. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great Place for Family Beach Vacation

This was our second time at the Tropical Fish cottage. It is a great place for families to enjoy the beach with the all amenities of home. Elizabeth has made some upgrades such as a brand new gas grill. Our teenage daughters love the sunroom which they converted to their very own private bedroom. The full kitchen allows you to cook your own meals if you would like since everything you need is provided. We can't wait to come back.

Second Stay in Paradise!

This . This was our second stay at these very cute cottages. We love the area, accommodations and local scenery. The beach is just a very short walk from the cottage with easy access. We will definitely be returning to this very quaint place. Also, the very colorful locals and the local restaurants and bars are lot of fun!

Paradise found on Sunset Beach

I have stayed at the Tropical Parrot Cottage many times. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing beach retreat. The location couldn't be better situated between the Gulf of Mexico and Blind Pass Waterway in the hip little neighborhood of Sunset Beach. I especially like the outdoor space. The cottage has a good sized private patio in the back yard and a larger shared patio on the side. When I wasn't outside I spent the majority of my time in the Florida room watching people come and go and enjoying the sounds of the tropical green parrots that frequent the island. The new owner of the cottages was very accommodating and made me feel right at home. Thank you Elizabeth. See you next year!

Wonderful little cottage! We could have stayed forever.

My husband and I rented Fish Cottage for the month of August and had a fantastic time! Everything we needed was right there in the cottage, no need to pack a ton of stuff for the trip down from NC. The cottage was clean and had tons of character as the photos show. Our little slice of Heaven, Sunset Beach was a short walk from the cottage and was quiet and beautiful and exactly what the doctor ordered since this was our first true vacation in many years. Sunset Beach has sugar white sand and the prettiest clear water--we were out every day. Always something neat to see -- rays, dolphins, manatees, birds, birds, birds!!! Wonderful. Lots of great food at Treasure Island. Of course Caddy's on the Beach is a must for beach-goers, Red Mesa in St. Pete for a bit of spicy dining, and Sea Critters at Pass-a-Grille is still wonderful after all these years. Don't forget to stop into Daiquiri Shak as well for laid back dining and fun. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to get away for awhile, and we can't wait till we can come back. We already miss it!!!
