LBI Beach-Side Cove in Ship Bottom

Family oriented, newly renovated LBI home that has 3 units. Located on a quiet bay-side street with easy access from the Causeway. Me and my husband live in the main part of the house. This unit is a tiny living space that sleeps 4. This is tiny living for a couple or 2 adults and two small children. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bath with outdoor dinner table, BBQ, private shower and shared laundry. Beach Badges are provided. There is another space available on property that sleeps 6 if you are traveling with another family. Must be 25 or older to rent the space. Pets are not allowed.

We are located in Ship Bottom, 6 houses from the Bay and 2 blocks from the Ocean. In walking distance we have plenty of restaurants, mini-golf, arcade, ice cream shops, toy shops and rentals for bikes, kayaks, paddle-boarding.

LBI Shuttle runs up and down the Island. We have easy access on and off the Island; only 10 blocks from the Causeway.

This space is located in the Oceanside of the house. It is on street parking. We provide blanket and pillows. Please bring sheets and towels. Please bring toiletries and essentials such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, etc. Beach badges are included.

There is key-less entry, therefore, you can check in and out on your own.

We had a wonderful stay, place was beautiful and clean. We loved the outdoor seating area and the closeness of the bay for beautiful sunsets, the beach and restaurants. Would definitely rent again.

The Beach Side Cove is a wonderful spot! Owners and neighbors are as nice as can be and the whole little street has a "vibe" that I've never experienced before. Can't say enough about how well we were received by the owners and help was nearby for whatever was needed. Very close to the bay for the nightly sunset. Spectacular!

Lovely unit

Host promptly replied to all my messages with questions. I advised him when I'd be arriving and he met me outside and gave me a quick orientation. The house and the property are immaculate as is the rental unit. There is a separate entrance, separate gas grill with separate seating area, and a separate outdoor shower. The appliances appear to be recent and there is a TV in the living room (not in the BR). There is a separate AC unit in the living room. Storage is a big tight but there is room under the bed (one could even bring a plastic tub for underneath if not too tall). You will hear the owner and family next door but nothing very bothersome. I would have no reservations about booking here again.

I was only there for two nights. It was a lovely little place to stay. Pictures are accurate. Must be ok with others around- attached to owners house but they respected privacy! Great location!!

Nicely appointed modern unit for four. Beach decor... Storage areas for bags, totes, and clothing... Conveniently located between bay and shore and a short walk to everything needed. Lots of fun! Definitely open for a repeat!

The Perfect Retreat

Location! The location is perfect as it sits off the (busy) main road close to the bay, but is still within walking distance to the beach - 3 to 5 minute walk. We loved how close we were to a few of our favorite places. As far as the place, it is tiny, but it is all you need while at the shore. It is clean and cute. We appreciated the shared laundry space and separate outdoor shower. The only downfall is you need to bring some itemsā€¦ more like a rental vs vrbo or similar. We had to bring sheets/comforter, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap. Overall, would recommend to others.

Great Stay on LBI

Rental was exactly as advertised; very clean and excellent location. Only issue was a glitch with VRBO app as I was unable to see my rental info on the day of check-in. Luckily, I remembered the address but was unable to get the code for entry. Couldnā€™t get in touch with owner so had to call VRBO to get the code. This worked but I was on the phone for quite awhile waiting for customer service rep and then it took a good while to get the info.

The check in was easy with clear instructions. The apartment is very attractive and clean. It was comfortable to stay there. It is conveniently located, walking distance to beach and restaurants. The host was friendly and gave good recommendations for restaurants. I would stay there again.

Great Vacation Home

We had a great time at this property. We loved the dock and spent hours floating on tubes in the bay. House was great and we especially liked that there was a cabinet where you could leave items for the next family. We would highly recommend!

Cute weekend getaway

This cute one bedroom getaway was very clean, updated appliances, & close walking distant to beach. It really is just enough room for 2 people. The bedroom had no closets to hang your clothes and the sink in the bathroom was very tiny. Not enough room to even wash your face. We had a problem on the night before we left with the air conditioner, which I emailed the owners twice & was never addressed. Upon leaving on our last day, finally met the owner & advised him of this problem.

Nice place!

No complaints at all. Home owner should have ac unit on the wall looked at. Condensation from cooling coil is not draining properly. Drips down onto table and runs down wall. Had no affect on our stay just thought they should know. Thanks! Chris and Tracy Fourness
