At the time of your stay, the pool was closed as we are planning a full and complete renovation during the summer, which is why it has been permanently taken out of service. We understand how important these amenities can be, and we regret that this impacted your experience. We have since updated the listing to ensure this information is clearly communicated moving forward. Regarding the location, Rio Verde is a wonderful option for a family retreat depending on a guest’s preferences and travel goals. While it offers a peaceful, rural setting, it is still within miles of North Scottsdale, Fountain Hills, Carefree, local lakes, wildlife parks, and many other attractions. Some guests specifically seek out this quieter environment with open space and amenities nearby, and many are drawn to the unique horse property setting. That said, we completely understand that this location may not be ideal for everyone. We also apologize for the confusion with the entry instructions, WiFi information, and household supplies. Your feedback is noted, and we are actively working to improve consistency in our communication and ensure essentials are better stocked for future guests.
