Perfect Family Vacation

This is a spectacular property with a beautiful playground and playroom which kept the children well entertained. A very relaxing location with areas for small and larger family groups to organically connect. The kitchen is amazing and very, very clean. Comfy beds and plenty of outdoor spaces. Loved our time at Sunny Pond!

Amazing!

We've rented Sunny Pond twice now for large family reunions and it has been perfect each time! The space is generous, clean and very well stocked--from the pond to the kitchen!--and Randi and Craig were incredibly responsive and helpful hosts. I could not recommend this property more!

Always a great time !

We’ve been renting for 8 years with Randi and she is always so responsive. Every year there are upgrades and improvements to the property, which is great to see. Very spacious, lots of places to lounge around inside and out, the kitchen is the best and bedrooms are perfect for a large group of people. We always look forward to returning the following year for our annual reunion. Highly recommend Sunny Pond !

Austerlitz Paradise

This property exceeds all expectations consistently in every possible regard. The house and property, including the pond, island and setting are not only beautiful but meticulous, perfectly maintained with all of the furnishings and details that one would hope to have if this were your own home. Randi is fantastic and I feel privileged to have been able to spend time at Sunny Pond.

Family get together

We have been lucky to stay at this property 3 times. Every trip better than the last. It's a joy to be with my whole family. Barbecue and sit around the huge dining room table where there is room for everyone. Going out at night to make smores in the firepit. Making memories. I hope to be lucky to be able to come back again!! Jackie, July 12 to 19th 2024.

Fabulous Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay- the house worked well for our family of 9 and has an incredible kitchen for cooking, hanging out with others, etc. The ping pong room, playroom with many games and books and workout room were all hits. The pond is beautiful for swimming and small boating- they have a pedal boat and rafts, etc. All said, the house and the property are spectacular and very comfortable and easy for a family to spend in our case a celebratory weekend. Fabulous

Our family (age range 6 months to 89 years) enjoyed a long weekend stay at this amazing property. The description and photos did not do justice to the beautiful home and surrounding grounds. Plenty of space for everyone, wonderful gathering places, dream kitchen (we made all of our meals), and a gym that rivals those that require membership! We visited the charming town of Great Barrington and went for several hikes nearby. Randi was very helpful and provided a crib and pack n play for the little ones. Instructions were very clear and checking in and out was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again!

Heaven on Earth

I rented this house for a weekend to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday and his twin sisters. We invited all their first cousins to come join us for a weekend getaway. All of us had the same thing to say! It was absolutely amazing. The house was beautiful inside and out. Super clean, cozy, and comfortable. Some of us arrived on a Friday night with plans to do things Saturday. Come Saturday, no one even wanted to leave the house! We spent our first night around a kitchen island eating pizza and admiring all the details that made this house unbelievable. When all children were in bed, we gathered blankets and sat outside on the front porch overlooking the pond and just taking the whole thing in. It was as if time didnt exist. The next morning, everyone was up early because they didnt want to miss a thing. We spent all day lounging around, walking around the pond, laying on a deck with our feet overhanging the side, and enjoyed the sun and everyones company. In the evening, as the rest of our guest arrived, we sat around the dining room table with the fire on right behind us. The owners of the house couldnt have been more accomodating and welcoming. They allowed us to use everything! We had Pandora music going on throughout the whole house including outside on the porch! I am probably going on and on, but if you are looking for a relaxing getaway with a group of people, this house is worth every penny, every minute driving to get there. Upon our arrival, we were already planning our return trip!!! The last of our family didnt leave until 4:45, we stayed until we could not possibly stay anymore! Words cant even describe the majesty of this property, and the life long memories that it created for our family!
