Stunning views. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Love the elevator and carts to make move in easy. Whale watching from the balcony. Our family had a wonderful time and we would love to stay there again.

Great location with beautiful views! Condo was clean and well appointed. Having 2 mainfloor bedrooms and a bathroom was a plus. Comfy beds. Would stay again.

The view is tremendous. The unit itself is somewhat dated and needs some spiffying up. The bed linen was thin and worn. The kitchen is well equipped but several of the dishes and cups were badly chipped and need replacing. The carpet going up the stairs is soiled as are other parts of the unit. Thundering Shores is our favorite spot on the Coast, but I think that next time we will look elsewhere for another unit.

Loved staying here

I would definitely recommend staying here. I noticed other reviews said it wasn't clean and didn't have basic things like salt but I found that it was very clean and it had the kitchen basics. We had such a wonderful time staying here.

We were able to see whales on multiple days from our balcony. No need for binoculars. Condo was clean, quiet and spacious . Communication was good. It is short distance from local shops and restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely stay again

Best views in Depoe Bay

Very nice and comfortable unit. Has definitely been upgraded since some of the older comments here. Master need very comfy. The views are wonderful. Appreciate that the kitchen was well stocked. A washer and dryer, esp for weekstay, is a great plus. Would def stay here again.

Great views and close to everything, but wash the dishes before you use them

When we arrived, we had a difficult time with the key box, but eventually made it inside. From there we were amazed by the views from the large window overlooking the rocks and ocean below. The condo had an interesting layout and everything looked great. The condo was showing its age but we were very excited still about staying there for a week. The only complaints we had were about the dishes being dirty in the cabinets and spending a lot of time figuring out what each light switch did or how to turn on a light

Beautiful Views and Appropriate Named Resort

We enjoyed our stay at Thundering Shores Executive Suites # 12. We would stay there again for sure. It is convenient to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, and Newport. We stayed for 9 nights and really had a relaxing time. We saw a few Whale Spouts and the Thundering Shores can really Thunder when the surf is rough. You feel it in the condo for sure! We had some concerns that it wasn't as clean as we expected. and have given a list of specific items to the management company so hopefully they are better for the next time. All in all, a nice condo. Not busy with other people, quiet except for the ocean waves, which is what you want to hear, and enjoyable. Thank you!

Disappointing

Poorly maintained. Dirty. Pictures present a beautiful unit. It is not. Someone needs to go look at the unit and make an honest appraisal. Then get it put back to match the photos. It was beautiful at one time. Furnace not working properly, carpet dirty with black spots, dryer broken. Pan under sink drain to catch water. Curtains falling off windows, water spots on ceiling, dirty cupboards inside. Laundry area filthy with old mops and dirt.
