Overall we enjoyed our stay. Here’s some pros and cons from our small group. Pros: quiet neighborhood location, comfortable beds, fenced yard for dogs, nicely renovated, large dining area, washer and dryer, good sized bathroom, air conditioning in main living space, nothing to do at check out - makes the early check out time totally worth it. Cons: keypad would not work for us so we had to contact the host to access the key, the sofa is not comfortable and not enough living room seating for a group of 4, there is only 1 fan for the bedrooms but they get hot and stuffy at night (bring your own fan). The cooking equipment was super basic, but enough to get you by, we always bring our own pans and cooking utensils.

Bungalow near the bay

It is a lovely home, full of light, with lots of amenities. It was perfect for three people, but could easily accommodate more with the sofa bed. We especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.

I have many positive things to say about this experience. The communication with VRBO was outstanding. They were incredibly fast to respond and were very helpful. The property was very, very clean and generally well equipped. The house is very spacious and the heat and hot water worked very well. It was great to have a full size washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher and garburator. It is decorated in an attractive fashion. There are lots of extra towels. Parking was great. I have a few negatives: there is little curb appeal as the garden is completely overrun with two foot weeds which is odd due to the inside being meticulously clean; there were just the two of us so it was fine but the property is said to accommodate up to 6 but there is only one sofa and one very small child's chair; there is only one end table in the living room and limited bedside table space; there are no reading lamps, only overhead very bright lights; the cutlery and dishes are of surprisingly very poor quality given the cost of the cottage and how there has been meticulous attention to detail re decorating; the unlocking and locking of the front door is tricky but ultimately we got the hang of it.

Likely long winded but not tldr first of all before you get there do your grocery shopping. Otherwise the bayside market is available for absolute essentials.Being a pet friendly vrbo I expected the cottage to have a pet odor but there was no odor of pets at all!! The kitchen is absolutely basic and bare. No seasoning, salt, pepper —nothing. Bring your own seasoning if you plan to cook anything. The pots and pans are warped so they don’t sit flat on the cooktop.I did have issue with check in but this was a me problem, the day of your stay they send you two codes, make sure you’re looking at the correct one for the keypad.The yard does need some attention, weeds and other vegetation have taken over. However for being pet friendly it does the trick and is fully fenced.The gate does take a truck to get open, you have to lift the whole “door” after using the lever.The cups and plates were a little dirty/dusty but the dishwasher is handy and updated. The smaller bed does squeak a lot so if someone moves a lot at night it could wake them up. The king bed is VERY COMFORTABLE almost luxurious feeling. The shower feels absolutely AMAZING!! The host does provide good body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The tv/sound set up is a bit jenky we left it so the speakers on the tv are what worked (for the living room) All in all though it’s a great spot to hang your hat at the end of a busy vacation day :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The shower was huge and water pressure was excellent. Easy check in with good communication. Kitchen was equipped with adequate tools. Appliances were newer and clean. The sheets on the king bed had pilling and were very rough. I turned the bottom sheet to the other side and it felt better. I attempted to use the onsite washer and it ran a code. The flow was blocked. I removed the washer filter and there was 3 pennies and plastic that was blocking the flow. After cleaning it, it worked perfectly. I would definitely stay again.

Brand new!

The cottage looked like everything had been recently renovated, everything was well thought out when it came to comfort and easy living. Great kitchen, comfy bedrooms and a large open spaced living area. We enjoyed the cute front porch and sat out there every day watching the hummingbirds buzz around the flowers. Our dogs loved the spacious yard which, much to our relief was fully fenced. There is a large deck with table and chairs as well but we didn't sit out there because there was no umbrella. The property is walking distance to the bay and beach as well as the local pub/restaurant. Thank you, we will be back.

Perfect family friendly location

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this house. We stayed in the Tillamook area and at this location for four nights and this was a great home base to explore all around the area. The neighborhood was very inviting and quiet with easy access as we came and went. The home has been renovated recently and has a nice and spacious layout. The king bed in the master bedroom was great and the second bedroom and hide-a-bed couch were a plus. The bathroom and shower were large and clean, the kitchen layout was great with the island seating along with a large dining table available. We also enjoyed the patio out the back door for a relaxing space to eat and hang out. An added bonus we discovered was that the house was only a three minute walk from a beautiful ocean lookout. The only downside we experienced was with the AC but we found leaving the bedroom doors opened helped a lot. We would without a doubt stay at this location again and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Bungalow by the Bay

The property is advertised as appropriate for six adults, but there is only a single sofa provided as living room seating. There is no other living room seating. Fortunately, there were only two of us. The updated kitchen area includes a microwave that cannot be used because all the dishes are plastic picnic ware marked "do not microwave." Do not try to fix breakfast; there is no toaster. There are ample closets in both bedrooms, but there was only one clothes hanger. Be sure to take toilet paper—the TP provided is flimsy and scratchy. We purchased toilet paper in Tillamook and donated a roll to the house.The listing states "no parking provided", but there is parking for two cars in front of the house. Is there a property owner (not an AI chatbot or a customer service agent in a foreign country) who can correct the listing and provide clothes hangers, a set of glass or porcelain dishes, glass drinking glasses, a toaster, and at least two comfortable living room chairs? On a positive note, the king bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and the house were clean. The washer and dryer, full-size refrigerator, stove with a convection oven, and dishwasher were great to have. The cable and Internet connections worked well.Please contact us once there are dishes, a toaster, hangers, and two living room chairs. We would like to come back to Bungalow on the Bay. Thank you.

Overall the place was less than average. The price was high for a bare minimum house. We've paid less and had more amenities available.The best feature was the bathroom. Great design and very clean.Kitchen was less than basic. Don't expect anything more than salt and pepper in the cabinets. Literally one extra blanket for the whole house. Bare minimum decor. Yard was unkept and full of weeds. Door code didn't work which was a whole other mess.
