Privacy, beauty and comfort, near downtown Palm Springs

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, and married my college sweetheart, who is a doctor. We raised three girls, homeschooled them, coached youth soccer, and now spend our time studying languages, cooking meals for friends, trying to stay fit, and volunteering for medical missionary trips whenever possible. We have used VRBO properties many times, ourselves, and we find it a much better way to travel than to stay in hotels. We hope you will enjoy staying in our beautiful new Palm Springs casa.

Casa de Colores (House of Colors) has been lovingly decorated with comfortable and attractive furniture, beautiful art and accessories in the colors of the desert to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Each bedroom has its own outside door, with high quality wooden shutters that completely darken the rooms when fully closed. All linens and towels will be regularly replaced as needed, to ensure comfort and satisfaction. The living room opens onto the front courtyard, with its mountain views, and allows you to 'bring the outdoors in with you.' The game table in the living room nook will lure you to find out who has the best poker face. Full sets of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils and basic supplies will provide you with all the things you'll need to cook as much or as little as you desire. The pool and spa will draw you to spend time in the back yard, but you will also have three other lounging and eating areas in which to spend your time. Whether you are one couple, a large family or 2 or 3 couples vacationing together, you will never lack for comfortable, private places to sit and talk. We want this house to be the best place you've ever vacationed in, and we will continue to try to make it worthy of that label.

When we saw this house we fell in love with the quality of the construction, and the wonderful architectural elements like the round windows in the front entryway and master bath, the foyer tower, the arched entryway and front door, the colored tile floors throughout, and the exquisite wooden beams and cathedral ceiling in the living room. We also really liked that each bedroom has its own bath and exterior door. And many of the attractions of downtown Palm Springs are within a short walk!
