Hawks Nest Lodge sits on the quiet east arm of Payette Lake, the calm, residential side of the lake where the water is still in the morning and the views stretch across to the mountains. As a guest, you have full access to the private beach and exclusive dock shared with just two neighboring homes. where overnight boat parking is allowed. If you're bringing a boat, this is the stay. Pull in, tie up, and you're home for the week.

The 1,850 sq. ft. lodge is comfortable and well-equipped for groups. The living area centers on a large rock fireplace that sets the tone for evenings after long days on the water or the trails. The fully stocked kitchen means you can cook in as easily as you go out, and the BBQ on the deck is ready year-round. Wi-Fi is included throughout, and a washer and dryer make longer stays easy.

Bedrooms and bathrooms The home sleeps 10 across four bedrooms plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room:

Outside your door Right across Eastside Drive, the Payette National Forest is your backyard. Trails from the road are ideal for hiking, jogging, and mountain biking. In mid-July through early August, huckleberries line the trails. Bring a container for pancakes the next morning.

Getting around McCall's city limits are about a mile out, and the center of town - coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, grocery, and gear is 3 miles away. McCall Golf Club is 1.5 miles. Brundage Mountain ski resort is 16.9 miles, making Hawks Nest a solid four-season base no matter what brings you to Idaho.
