Enjoy this lovely updated cottage located in Shelby Place, a quiet subdivision just minutes from Main Street Highlands.

This recently renovated ranch style home is both cozy and comfortable.Ā  A covered carport and level entry offers access into the vaulted great room with hardwood floors, gas log fireplace and open kitchen with breakfast bar. Two king bedrooms and two baths are well equipped with a walk in shower in one and a shower and separate soaking tub in the other.

Enjoy the sounds of the small creek on the open deck off of the dining room or sit on the covered front porch with a book and relax in the fresh Highlands mountain air. You'll love the outdoor fire pit for relaxing evenings with your favorite beverage.

Just a five minute drive to Main Street, Highlands Highlands Haven is conveniently located to downtown with it's scores of fine dining restaurants, the Highlands Playhouse and the Old Edwards Inn and Spa as well as all the wonderful boutiques perfect for a day of shopping.

"Great Stay! The house is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice. We enjoyed the back porch quite a bit and opened the windows at night to hear the rushing water. We really enjoyed our stay from top to bottom. Communication from Alicen was great and the house was exactly as advertised. We loved how quiet the street was and how close the property was to downtown Highlands. We will definitely rent again.

Great Property - Has Everything you Need!

Came up for the weekend to enjoy the snow with our 5yr old. This home was fully equipped with everything. It was clean and very well maintained. Perfectly located to everything and very nice neighbors. Property Manager was responsive and we plan to book this property again!

Perfect Highlands stay

Great location! Close, easy drive to downtown or the Bascom Center. Clean and appears to be newly renovated. LOVED that it had a Keurig coffee maker! So many homes I have stayed in do not. Perfect size for our girls weekend with 4 friends

Have-it-all in Highlands

We loved staying at this property. The home is well-appointed and its close proximity to downtown is incredibly convenient. Visiting during summer, the back porch is the place to relax with the restful sound of the creek in the backyard. I have a high standard for cleanliness and this home was extremely clean which I appreciate. Next time we will book a longer visit!

Well Appointed Home

This two bedroom house was a great find. Clean and well decorated inside. Both bedrooms had ensuite access to a bathroom. The back deck was perfect for enjoying coffee and breakfast in the morning and wine & cheese in the evening. Very short, 3 minute drive to the heart of Highlands.

Great house!

This beautiful, clean home has everything you could want! Every necessity we looked for was there, and more. The back porch is fabulous, with the sound of the stream and all the birds singing. The beds are comfortable, the towels luxurious, the kitchen well stocked and all items were lovely. The house is decorated very attractively, and the neighborhood is serene and beautiful. Absolutely loved our stay here!

Relaxing weekend getaway

We had an excellent experience at this property and with Rent in Highlands. Communication was great and they were very responsive when we had questions. The digital guest book was also very convenient. The house itself was perfect for 2 couples with plenty of room to relax and visit. The bathrooms were nicely renovated. The porch and fire pit area were great places to take in the surroundings and listen to the creek flowing in the woods. Will look to rent through them again the next time we go to Highlands!

Wonderful home away from home!

Just returned from Thanksgiving in Highlands, staying at this property for the first time. We had a fantastic experience! The home is very comfortable, cozy without feeling like guests are crammed in together, and very close to everything there is to do in Highlands. We enjoyed hiking Whiteside Mountain nearby as well as Glen Falls and Secret Falls. Two grocery stores are within 5 minutes, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The host was very accessible when needed and very accommodating to my family's needs. Will definitely return!
