This was our second stay at this property. Can’t beat the views and the many options for comfortable outdoor spaces. Close to great hiking trails from waterfall strolls to backcountry exploring.

David and Mary's place is wonderful. It's cozy and charming and the outdoor space is top notch. We spent most of our time on the back porch and the view of the lake is stunning. Our kids (10 and 12) loved playing cards on the porch, making s'mores, and then moving inside to use the pool table. Thank you David and Mary for sharing your space with us.

Property was beautiful. The view off the back deck was STUNNING! It was warm, cozy & invitingly setup. All the rooms were comfortable & spacious. The firepit area was a treat for myself & family. S’mores were enjoyed. The home was conveniently located near many restaurants & shops. My entire family was able to create many memories that we will cherish. Thank you!

Beautiful property with incredible mountain and lake views that were exactly as advertised. Perfect location near Cashiers and convenient to Highlands. The metal roof could occasionally be noisy when debris fell from nearby trees, but that comes with the mountain setting and wasn't a major issue. The owner was responsive when we had a minor fireplace issue (battery replacement). Overall, we had a wonderful couples weekend away and would stay here again!

You're right about the metal roof. In the fall, when the walnuts and acorns come down from the trees, they can hit the roof and startle you a bit. That's just part of being up in the mountains. But here's the other side of it. When a soft rain comes through and hits that metal roof, it's one of the best sounds there is. Sitting out on the covered deck listening to it is something we never get tired of. So yes, it has its positives and a couple of small negatives. Glad we could get the fireplace sorted quickly for you too. We'd love to have you back anytime. David and Mary

We spent an incredible 4th of July weekend celebrating our country’s 250th anniversary. The property is in excellent condition and outfitted with everything you need. It was the perfect home base for my wife and 2 children and we will plan to stay at this home in the future as it is a truly great vacation home.

We had such a wonderful stay at David and Mary’s adorable cabin with views of Lake Glenville and a quick drive to Cashiers. The mountain views were absolutely beautiful, and the cabin was comfortable, cozy, and inviting. We especially loved the outdoor spaces—the landscaping is gorgeous, and the fire pit and outdoor fireplace made the evenings so relaxing and special. One of our favorite little touches was the beautiful koi pond and getting to feed the fish, which made the property feel even more peaceful and charming. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to return! Thank you, David & Mary We loved your home!
