Stunning views

Great proximity to the beach! Overall this property was ideal. Absolutely loved being able to put our suits on and head down to the beach with minimal stuff in tow. The beach chairs and umbrella that are included with the room added to the convenience and easy beach living vibe.

Overall Great Stay!

Overall the property description is everything we experienced. Rooms were comfy, great balcony views, free beach service, etc. Only issue was the A/C unit was inconsistent and we found it very difficult to keep the rooms cooled. Would definitely stay here again.

Condo was very nice, amenities were outstanding

Great for families, and the poolside bar and grill is great. Elevators can be frustrating, and armbands are a bother. Otherwise, very highly recommended!

This is our 4th time staying at splash! It’s always good no complaints other than elevator at times didn’t work right. Would definitely stay again as long as our little girl is having a blast the lazy river and pools and the big bucket are her favorite.

Great!

We have stayed at several condos at Splash. This was by far the best. The corner units are spacious. Each room has its own bathroom and it’s own balcony. The unit was very clean! Beds were comfortable. 6th floor was perfect! Could use the stairs if you wanted- we did on occasion during peak elevator times. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Our Panama Beach stay

Very clean property. Butters (restaurant) could use more than 1 employee per shift. Pool area/hot tub/kids pool area was excellent. Check in wasn’t clearly described. We were a late check in and it was like pulling teeth to get information. All. Reply via email was not detailed and very short. Once I was able to reach someone via phone it went much better. Overall our stay was a 8/10. Impressed with amenities of the room.

Room for improvement

The unit was adequate. Beds comfortable. Patio furniture broken. Splash has declined. Little or no security. Teen girls harassed by crude comments. Hot tub packed more than the max. My error, I didn’t realize Splash registration is in no way tied to check in of the condo. Assistance provided to this Nana in a timely fashion.

Terrible management , Panhandle Getaway 601E

Room was not ready AT ALL when we checked in at 4pm(chk in time), looked like the people that were there just left, dirty towels on the floor, unmade bed, we really thought we were in a wrong room. It was aweful! We all had to wait over 2 hours outside the door with 3 seniors and 2 young kids while dealing with the property manager(Ashley) and waiting for the cleaning crew to come. You can only imagine how we feel after driving 7 hours.

I would fire cleaning crew. Sucker stick in floor. Dirty fork in chair. Open Bag of chips in drawer. No comforter on queen bed. Unit has several issues while all minor in and of themselves as a whole it pulls down the experience. All 3 toilets run most of the time. Shower door doesn’t shut properly. 4 out of 6 lights out in bathroom. Exhaust fan not working. I did like the layout with the split from 2 bedroom to 3.

Beautiful corner condo!

The condo was very clean and well kept up! There was a good amount of dishes and plenty of silverware! The master suite and master bath were huge! I would definitely recommend this condo! The resort is right on the beach and had several pools. Definitely something to please everyone!

GORGEOUS CONDO!!!

My family stayed here the first week in January and let me just tell you...this condo blew me away! The view is breathtaking!! We were able to check-in early, the condo was super clean and equipped with everything that we needed. The resort has a ton of amenities which was perfect due to the weather being a little cooler during this time. Overall, we have great vacation and look forward to returning! Thank you for a great time!

601E - Average Room, AVOID PANHANDLE GETAWAYS!

4 night stay in Sept, using all 3 rooms. The room was just decent. The furniture is old, especially in the living room where the couch and chairs have been heavily used. The kitchen is bare bones with regards to kitchen utensils. We will definitely stay at the Splash Resort again in the future, but will look at other alternatives concerning specific rental units. While we booked through VRBO, but a rental agency was actually responsible for the booking. This was a nightmare. We could not check into the unit until 5:30 pm, but it's not guaranteed until 6pm, still a major let-down; especially considering the booking agent corresponding with us (Michael) gave verbal commitment that we could do an early check-in at 2pm. Entertaining a toddler for 3.5 hours, after a 7 hour car trip, is definitely less than ideal. WE WILL NOT USE PANHANDLE GETAWAYS FOR FUTURE RENTALS, I give them ONE STAR for customer service.

601E Was Perfect for Us!

We stayed here 4 nights earlier this month (August 2015). We were 2 families, and it was perfect for our bunch! We had 2 married couples (in our 40s), 1 teenager, 1 preteen, 1 5-year old, and 2 toddlers. With the use of the attached studio suite (with its on kitchenette) this condo has 2 king masters, both with very nice balconies overlooking the ocean. There's a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed - also with a balcony overlooking the ocean. In addition, there's a queen pullout sofa in the main living area, and an additional pull-out twin bed in the studio room. The kitchen is pretty modern, and had everything we needed. The unit itself is nice. It's modern and bright. Not overly lavish, but it is clean - and that's important. Each room has a nice flat screen TV, and the WiFi works great! Being on the 6th floor was nice. It is high enough to have a very nice view of the ocean, but not too high that we couldn't hear the waves. And our wait for an elevator was never long. We booked through Panhandle Getaways, and they were very good. When we arrived our key code to get into our unit didn't work. But we simply called the number they had given us, and within 10 minutes they sent us another code that worked fine. The only other small issue we had was one of the balcony sliding doors was stuck shut, so we couldn't open the door. We called that same number again, and they said they would take care of it. The next morning 2 men came and fixed it in 10 minutes. Great service! We really liked Splash because of the location. It is RIGHT on the beach. There is no road separating your building from the beach... just sand. Is has a lot of pools, and really does cater to children. The ocean and beach here were clean, and the waves were just right (boogie boards were perfect). We found that we were 5 minutes driving from all sorts of stores, restaurants, and other activities, although we rarely left our property during our 4 days. All in all, a very good spot for families to enjoy the beach and ocean!
