Luxury Lodge in Hocking Hills, 4 Fireplaces, 12-Person Hot Tub, Secret Game Room
Welcome to another one-of-a-kind retreat by Living The Dream Cabins. This custom-built, Amish-crafted log lodge blends Yellowstone-inspired grandeur with modern luxury and thoughtful design. From the whole-tree log supports to the soaring ceilings and fireplaces throughout, every detail was created to impress while still feeling warm and welcoming.
The lodge is over 4,000 sq. ft. on almost 8 private acres and sits adjacent to state land with direct access to over 40 miles of Ohio’s most popular trails and is located next to Cowboy Larry’s Horse Camp, making it an ideal destination for hikers, horseback riders, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The home spans 3 expansive levels and features 4 fireplaces throughout, offering plenty of space for large families or group getaways while still providing privacy and comfort.
Main living spaces include a stunning great room with a soaring ceiling, electric fireplace, TV, and an open layout that connects to the fully stocked kitchen. Just off the main living area is a four-seasons room with a large dining table and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for shared meals, celebrations, and cozy evenings together.
Each level includes a private owner’s suite, for a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, plus an additional half bath and an open loft sleeping area.
The main level primary suite features a king bed, full bathroom with a shower, electric fireplace, TV, and a leather sofa that converts into an additional sleeping space. There is also a washer and dryer.
The upper-level owner’s suite includes a king bed, full bathroom with shower, soaking tub, TV, Keurig, mini fridge, and a private balcony overlooking the property.
The upper-level loft offers two full beds and provides a comfortable open sleeping space.
The lower-level owner’s suite includes two queen beds and a trundle bed with two twin mattresses, a full bathroom with shower, and a dedicated desk/workspace.
The lower level is also an entertainment hub, featuring a secret hidden game room with air hockey, foosball, and an Xbox, along with a pool table, ping pong table, wood-burning fireplace, and walk-out access to the covered patio.
Outdoor living is just as impressive, with two open decks, a balcony, and a covered patio with seating. The dedicated grilling deck includes two grills, and the fire pit is surrounded by twinkle lights for unforgettable evenings. The covered patio also features a 12-person hot tub swim spa, perfect for relaxing after a day on the trails.
For guests traveling with horses, on-site horse stalls are currently in development and are planned to be available beginning May 2026. Please note that this amenity is not yet available and timelines are subject to change.
This lodge offers the rare combination of luxury craftsmanship, adventure-ready location, and resort-style amenities. Whether you’re planning a family gathering, group retreat, or outdoor-focused getaway, this is a destination cabin you’ll want to return to again and again.

Living The Dream Cabins is a family owned business that we have been building for over 10 years, and it has grown into our full time work. What started as a small idea has turned into something we are incredibly grateful for, and these properties are how our family makes a living.
We own and operate several unique stays in Hocking Hills, including an Underground Earth Home, Treehouse, Grain Silo, and a handful of other unique cabins. Each property has its own personality, but they all share the same hands-on care and attention. Our family is directly involved in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and upkeep, so nothing here feels distant or impersonal.
We enjoy hosting because we love this area and take pride in creating places that people remember long after their stay.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
This area has always been personal to us. Ian’s godmother owns property here, and he spent his entire childhood coming down to this part of Hocking Hills. Those trips are a big reason he grew up loving the outdoors. He’s an Eagle Scout, an Air Force veteran, and someone who genuinely feels most at home in places like this.
Hocking Hills has always felt like a hidden gem in Ohio. It has the kind of natural beauty that never gets old, from quiet back roads and wooded trails to open land and star filled skies. At the same time, it still has character and charm, right down to the local dive bars and small spots that feel unchanged in the best way.
Between decades of visiting, more than ten years of building, owning, and operating cabin rentals, and even relocating some of our own family here, we know this area inside and out. We chose this neighborhood because it feels authentic, peaceful, and grounded, and it’s a place that means something to us beyond just owning a property here.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?
What really makes this place special is how it was built and the details you notice once you’re here. The lodge is Amish built, and you can feel that craftsmanship everywhere, from the massive whole tree support in the great room to the real log trim and woodwork throughout the cabin. There are subtle design details that tie everything together, including custom wood accents, western inspired branding touches, and scalloped trim that runs through the space and gives it a warm, intentional feel rather than something mass produced.
Then there are the fun and memorable amenities. There’s a hidden game room that opens through a bookshelf with foosball, air hockey, and a TV with an Xbox 360, plus a pool table and ping pong table for groups of all ages. The owner’s suites are oversized and feel more like a private luxury retreat than a typical cabin bedroom. With four fireplaces, a 12 person hot tub, and a dining table that comfortably seats 12, it’s designed for groups to gather but still spread out and relax.
Outside, the setting really sets it apart. The lodge sits on just under 8 private acres and offers over 4,000 square feet of space. It backs up to state owned land and is directly across from Cowboy Larry’s Horse Camp, with access to about 40 miles of bridle trails. It feels secluded and peaceful, but still connected to the area, which is exactly what we love about it and why our guests tend to feel the same.
