This cabin is located 5 miles from Elk Springs Resort and only 1.5 miles to downtown Gatlinburg. Smoky Mountain Romance features 1 suite with queen sized bed and a loft sleeping area with queen sized bed. A custom pool table, hot tub, deck and plenty of privacy. Relax in your hot tub or in front of the fireplace after hiking in the park or visiting the shops in nearby downtown Gatlinburg. Enjoy your private jacuzzi tub in the suite or surf the internet with FREE high speed wireless. Close to the trolley, shops and many of the areas attractions.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. Feels like your in the woods but your not

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the romance and it was the perfect location. It’s about 1 mile to everything and right outside the National Park. We saw bears everyday either in the area of the house , while driving or in the park. The area is peaceful but close to everything. The house was clean. If you bring pets keep on a leash at all times, pick your dogs poop up, follow the rules for the hot tub and locks for deck and doors. The bears are afraid of you and ran away when they saw us or the dogs.

The carpets had a dog smell and one of them was lifted up, causing you to trip on it several times. The front door was the worst! It was so hard to open and when it was locked it was very flimsy that anyone can kick the door down. The door would rattle back and forward.

We couldn’t really get the mugginess to go away. The loft bed was very uncomfortable and hard. The frame of the bed was very squeaky and seems loose. The kitchen light also didn’t work.

There's a reason I don't switch it up. Consistency! Always excellent communication and ease dealing with Elk Springs Resort. The cabin was ready upon our arrival info Gatlinburg. Was clean and probably the best location you could ask for. Hidden right off the strip. This one was good because dog friendly. Loved sleeping in the loft with the morning sunshine. The fireplace is also always an added perk!

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointing to say the least. Arrive d at rental, which was not in a very good locatio. One the side of a hill with one lane road and hard driveway to get into. Unit was cold, but fireplace was nice and warmed things up. Jacuzzi tub looked so nice in the ad, however, was upstairs and not in the master bedroom as indicate, so unable to use because could not climb all the steps. Even had steps to go into kitchen. Too many steps for someone who was unable to climb very many steps. Turned thermostat to heat and turned up to 75+ degrees which constantly blew cold air. Thanks goodness for fireplace and blankets. Then the next morning received winter weather warning for impending snow. This cabin was not located in a good area for ice and snow unless had 4-wheel drive, which we did not. Let service know of impending weather and lost two nights with no refund and no rain heck. Once again, disheartened and disappointment as we lost our money. We packed up and was out by check out time 10:00 a.m., so there less than 24 hours and lost our hard earned mone. Kept receiving emails and texts about enjoying out stay, which we kept explaining we had to leave.

The location just minutes to Gatlinburg & easy to Pigeon Forge could not have been better but felt like you were miles away. The bears!! Let's talk bears!! So many bears! Momma bears, baby bears, Pappa bears, in the van, on the van, on the deck, on the Rd, on the neighbors porch. Everyday, multiple times a day. Would definitely rent this cabin again!!

Lovely Gatlinburg stay!

Reviewer Comments: While we loved the location and the property was clean we had to go out and buy a few random staples that would be very convenient including salt and pepper, coffee filters, dish brush, a plug for the kitchen sink etc. The location was great and we absolutely loved how close we were to town without having to be right in town! We would recommend but wish we had been more aware of what would and wouldn't be provided. We were amazed at the amount of black bears in the area and very thankful for the precautions made. The porch is bear proof and there are plenty of bear safety signs throughout the cottage.

We enjoyed the privacy of the location .The second day we were there we were visited by the three bears. We enjoyed seeing them. We left them alone and they left us alone. They passed by and were definitely searching for food.

Bears and Peace

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin itself is very quaint and peaceful. We saw baby bears walking by several times. It was really fun to see so close in their natural environment. I wasn’t comfortable using hot tub. I wish the pool table were bigger and better kept. The darts were fun and an added surprise. Internet was great and we felt safe. I would not however go back with only two people. The price wasn’t worth it.
