In the heart of South Lake Tahoe, Carol's place is less than 2 miles to the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. The open floor plan includes a comfortable Living Room with a 46ā€ HD TV, Wi-Fi, Internet and cable. Leather sofa and chairs offer comfortable seating before the Woodstove fireplace. The recently remodeled Kitchen has new stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. You will enjoy using top of the line cookware and utensils. The cabin sleeps 5 easily. A good nightā€™s sleep is assured in the spacious Master Bedroom with its luxurious Cal King sized mattress. The adjacent deck offers a mountain view. The Guest Bedroom also has top quality mattresses on both the bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top) and separate twin bed. The Laundry Room, with a full-sized LG washer and dryer is in the mud room, adjacent to the kitchen. The newly remodeled bathroom has a tub, shower and new fixtures with upgraded finishes. A large backyard, gas barbecue and a propane fire-pit yours to enjoy as well. This home requires 31 days or more reservation it is no longer a short-term rental.

We had a great time at Carol's Place. The 2 bed 1 bath was perfect for our small family. Close to casinos, hiking, Lake Tahoe and more! I highly recommend this cabin.

Great stay

The owner is terrific, very helpful and responsive. This property is located in a quiet neighborhood with many nice walking paths close by. All necessities and stores are within a short drive. Great place for a long stay.

The Perfect Tahoe Retreat

Weā€™ve been coming to Tahoe for several seasons, and this place has become our favorite. This time, we spent nearly a month in Carolā€™s cozy cabin, and it was the best experience weā€™ve had so far. The house is exceptionally comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and Carol is an incredibly kind and attentive host.Thank you for the warm hospitality and unforgettable time. Winter Getaway

Stayed for a month. Great house in a great location. Heavenly is minutes up the road by car. Thereā€™s a great waking trail very near the house. Good Mexican food at the end of the street within walking distance. The house is well appointed with everything you need. Carol is a fantastic host, great communication throughout my stay. Thank you!

Charming and Relaxing getaway

Carol was good about all the instructions and in case emergencies happened there was someone to contact at any time. The house felt like a home away from home, very cozy and close to downtown and all amenities. I will hopefully be staying there again sometime this year.

Perfectly Cozy: A Warm Haven in the Ideal Location

We had a wonderful stay at Carol's Place! The location couldn't be more perfect ā€“ great restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beach is just a short 5 to 10-minute drive away, and there are amazing trails right at your doorstep(We walked them everyday). The cabin itself is warm and welcoming. Our second stay at Carol's Place

This was our second stay and I have to say the cabin is cleaner than most hotels we stay at. I love the fact that it is not too cluttered or overly furnished. The neighborhood is quiet and the folks next door are really nice. A short walk to 7-11 and close to Pioneer Trail so you can drive out of town faster. I would stay here again and recommend to my family and friends.

Awesome Tahoe Cabin!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 4 year old, 2 year old) just had an amazing stay at Carol's place. We felt so comfortable and cozy and that Carol really cared about our stay. Beautiful new fireplace to enjoy. Fully stocked kitchen with items for the little kiddos too. Great backyard to play in and enjoy the fresh snow! Perfect size for our family and we look forward to staying again.

Labor Day Weekend 2019

Thanksgiving Weekend In Tahoe

Listing description was very accurate, I took my sister for the first time to South Lake Tahoe. The house was super clean, we feel like we were at home, kitchen was well equipped, washer and dryer were a plus, not to mention the comfortable beds, very cozy, it snowed in during our stay so it was cold, house heater was great. The house was only minutes away from Heavenly, we had a great time snowboarding, also close to grocery stores and restaurants. We also enjoy playing monopoly, and watched movies on Netflix. Definitely coming back to this property

Cozy and relaxing

I have been really stressed about traveling and Covid. But I needed a break from reality. My husband suggested South Lake Tahoe for an anniversary getaway (with our three kids). This was the perfect house for a relaxing getaway. The kids had enough room to spread out if they needed to. The house was spotless and in a quiet neighborhood. It was close to the lake and several restaurants. This will definitely be our go to spot when we return.

Perfect Home Away from Home

My husband, baby, and I took a little weekend getaway and Carol's Place was the perfect home away from home. I found that I ended up overpacking because Carol had everything...even a cheese grater! The house was sparking clean so I had no worries with letting my little one crawl around and explore. We took advantage of the grill and loved eating outside at the picnic bench, using the HUGE pinecones as a centerpiece. Carol was responsive to all questions prior to arrival and after. We will definitely come back.

Great home for small groups

We enjoyed our stay at this rental home. Everything was as described in the listing. The home was very clean and well organized. We didn't run into any issues during our stay. The home is in the middle of a residental area, so there are many small children playing in the area, but we didn't hear too much traffic or other noise from the neighbors in the evenings. This home is a great value if you are looking for more accomodations than a basic hotel room. It's nice to have all of the comforts of home like washer/dryer, full size kitchen, etc. We will certainly stay here again.

A wonderful, cozy stay!

We had such a wonderful long-term stay at Carol's place! It has all the amenities you need to feel at home, and we really were sad to leave. We loved the big backyard, cozy fireplace and comfy bed. We both worked from home for 5 weeks and had no issue with the wifi either. The location is perfectā€”super close to Heavenly, but away from the touristy areas at Stateline. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the quick early morning drives to Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood. Carol was super communicative and flexible with us. We enjoyed chatting with her. Our time at Carol's Place is one we'll never forget. We hope to return in the future!

Perfect for a family!

We absolutely loved our vacation stay here. We stayed for a week during Christmas this year, and we were still not ready to leave! The home was exceptionally clean and new. There was plenty of everything we needed (towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc.) This home was more than we expected. Almost got the puzzle done... haha. The home has wifi, a smart TV, good cable, monopoly and apples to apples along with a few other games. Fenced in backyard- good for kids. Location is a quieter street near everything. :] Carol was very accommodating, answered all of our questions, and made sure that we were satisfied with our stay. We can't wait to stay again!!!!! Cute home with everything you need.

Very clean and updated home. Feels spacious and is packed with everything you need. Great location, close to restaurants, snow play, and grocery store. My only complaint was someone turned down the water heater. Our first night everyone had cold showers. I chalked it up to being frozen pipes. I was completely wrong. The owner told me to just turn the water heater up one notch. Easy fix and I should have reached out sooner. We will he back for a summer visit.

Cozy and Clean

Carol's Place is lovely if you are looking for a nice cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. It was a pleasant surprise to be less than 1/2 mile to the 7-11 for our morning walks. The home is well stocked and you just need to bring your clothes. Comfy furniture and beds with extra heaters for chilly nights. I stay at VRBO places 2x a year and this one will be one my sons and I return to. Not a lot of clutter and everything is nice and new and clean. The neighbor next door even plowed our driveway for free after we got more snow than expected. The only thing I would suggest is a halltree or coat hooks when you enter next to the front door. There is a mudroom but it's in the back of the house with the washer and dryer. Thank you, Carol!

My family and I for many years frequent Lake Tahoe we have stayed in various cabins thru VRBO and finally decided its time to buy property so we could enjoy Tahoe year round. I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. I love the outdoors and I hope that you enjoy our home as much as we do.
