Thanks for staying with us! There are definately many hiking trails to enjoy. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 4 miles from our cabins and cottages. There are numerous hiking trails there for every level of hiker. Not only are there hiking trails, but there are gorgeous waterfalls and breathtaking views. As soon as you notified us, we responded immediately and removed it. We also conducted a thorough inspection to ensure the cabin was safe and appropriate for all guests. Guest safety and cleanliness are extremely important to us, and we take situations like this very seriously. Since your stay, we have reinforced our inspection procedures to help prevent anything like this from happening again. We truly regret that this impacted your experience and appreciate you bringing it to our attention so promptly. Thank you for your great review. The pottery studio is only a couple of minutes down the road, and it's a great local place to spend some time.
