Totally private, plush mountain cabin nestled on 12 acres, bordering Pisgah National Forest with covered bridge, 25-jet hot tub, gas fireplace, stunning master suite with luxury bedding, two bathrooms, 50' TV, high-speed wireless internet, and gas grill. Newly renovated grounds post Hurricane Helene includes a stunning rock staircase that leads to the creek and an artisanal outdoor boulder firepit. This cozy cabin is an open concept featuring kitchen and living room, connecting to a sunny master bedroom surrounded by the sights and sounds of trickling water. Pick your favorite porch, kick your feet up, and immerse yourself in nature. Whether venturing out on hiking trails through the Pisgah National Forest right from the back door or relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the creek, this is a great place to reconnect and unwind.

This 12 acre property is truly unique! Enter by crossing the covered bridge, through the electric privacy gate and up the long, paved drive to your cabin oasis. Experience all of the modern comforts in a peaceful wooded setting at the base of Mt. Pisgah. The fall and winter views of the mountain from the front porch are spectacular. The wooded canopy of oaks, poplar and birch cover the mountain view during the summer months, and provide cool shade for relaxing outside on the porch by the creek, screened back porch or deck.

Pisgah National Forest - 5 minute walk. Blue Ridge Parkway Access Point - 5 miles. Mills River Valley Overlook - 6 miles. Downtown Asheville - 16 miles. Biltmore Estate - 19 miles. Asheville, NC (AVL - Asheville Regional Airport) - 21 miles. There are many nearby outdoor adventure activities: hiking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, flyfishing, mountain biking, climbing, and waterfall tours.

Spend the day in downtown Asheville dining, tasting our local beers, shopping or people watching.

Great day trips to nearby small towns: Waynesville, Hendersonville, Brevard, Flat Rock, Chimney Rock, Highlands, and Cashiers. Scenic routes to each, with great lunch spots. Enjoy shopping for locally made crafts in the quaint atmosphere of small mountain towns.

Perfect secluded location! The cabin was larger than it appeared online which was a nice surprise. Tammy was very responsive the couple of times I reached out. The hot tub was amazing with even better views. The beds were so comfy! We meant to look at the brand because we loved the comfort so much! We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week celebrating our 35th anniversary. The cabin is exactly as pictured in the listing except that inside is pretty dark. The "lockout" bedroom has better light. The bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub, although the cover was in need of replacement and cumbersome to open and close. Each of the various porches offers different views of the stream and surrounding forest. The largest porch overlooking the stream makes you feel like you're in an treehouse. Other reviews are accurate about the barking dogs. This is a relatively private spot, but it is not a remote, middle of nowhere cabin. There are occasional road noises, neighbors doing yard work and their dogs. That said, we were entranced by the babbling stream. It was so relaxing we spent hours just sitting and listening. We would recommend this cabin for anyone who wants a relaxing, comfortable place with an easy drive to Asheville as long as a little noise pollution doesn't bother you too much.

Perfect cabin

This cabin was a great place to stay where it was quiet but close enough to tails and Asheville, we had a great time and were very comfortable with the property and what it had to offer.

My name is Rebecca, and I was born in a little farm house less than 3 miles from this beautiful mountain getaway. My mother went into labor during her morning hike in the Pisgah National Forest and the rest is history! When my sister, Annie, and my husband, Nicholas, started our search for the perfect mountain cabin years ago, we couldn’t have imagined what was in store for us; a cabin tucked away among the mountains, surrounded by creeks, bordering the Pisgah National Forest, AND a short drive to downtown Asheville. It really doesn’t get any better! We are so in love with this little slice of heaven and hope you love it too.

Me and my three siblings were born and raised in the Asheville area and have had the unique pleasure of watching it change over the decades. Although life has taken us to different parts of the United States, what remains constant is our love for the Asheville area and its surrounding mountains. Having traveled this world I truly believe there is no place more peaceful or beautiful than Western North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We searched for the perfect cabin getaway tucked among the mountains for many years. We knew we wanted a place in Candler, surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and close to all of our favorite spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the charm of downtown Asheville. This home was exactly what we had been waiting for all these years! As we drove down Pisgah Highway on our way to see this property, we admired the views of Mt. Pisgah, while a peaceful quiet settled over us. We crossed the private covered bridge leading to the property and heard the rushing waters surrounding us. Walking through the cabin we admired the unique hand-crafted construction. We relaxed on the 25-foot porch overlooking the stream and knew this was the most unique property around. The interior is cozy and exquisite, simple yet luxurious. Surrounded by all the best elements of nature, we knew this cabin would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two.

You have total privacy in this exquisitely decorated cabin, yet you are close to downtown Asheville. There is only one step up leading into the cabin, so it is great for couples as they enjoy the adventure of aging. It is such a romantic, quiet setting that couples of all ages will enjoy the comfort of modern day amenities while experiencing the beauty of nature.
