Meticulously Maintained. New 2025 A/C dual zone system. Salt-water heated pool. Short walk east to Maui’s longest stretch of undeveloped beach (3 miles). Short walk west to harbor water excursions, Maui Ocean Center, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, and live music venue. Centrally located. Peaceful place to relax & restore or explore.

We truly value our guests and want you to experience Aloha. Your well-being matters to us and we have take care to provide a sanitary & healthy environment with emergency needs and plans in place.
Maximum occupancy is limited to four (4) persons. This is a non-smoking/non-vaping apartment and a non-smoking building. One (1) parking space comes with the unit. Check-In time is 4:00 p.m. Check-Out time is 11:00 a.m. We need guest to read and complete our Terms and Conditions Agreement within 24 hours of booking request. It is lengthy but up-front understanding & acceptance has proven to establish clarity and best ensure a good match. We realize this is an extra step in the process but upon arrival you will hopefully better understand and delight in our attention to detail. Mahalo for your interest and in our home. The humpback whales are magnificent during their migratory breeding season (Dec.-March) and easily seen breaching from the lanai. This apartment is within steps of a quiet little sandy spot which is a green sea turtle feeding area year round. This unit celebrates the natural beauty of the island. It includes: original oil paintings and batik by island artists and is furnished with care for comfort and ease whether it be for pure pleasure or a working trip. High speed wireless internet. Keyless entry lock. Ceiling Fans. Private sleeping at separate ends of the floor plan. Well equipped kitchen LED dimmable lighting 100% cotton linens (sheets & towels). Large capacity washer/dryer. Green slate flooring extends onto lanai FSC Certified Mahogany custom woodwork. Caesarstone countertops Mahogany louvered interior doors. Quality sliding glass doors. Traditional shoji rice paper with glass. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, ice chest. Beach & pool towels. Smart TV in living room.

Beautiful home in a beautiful spot

Lisa's condo is amazing - beautifully updated and decorated and right on the water - perfect for whale watching and relaxing. We had two couples and the layout of the condo was great. There is a small beach down to the side of the condos that had turtles nearly every day, and Sugar Beach is a short walk down the road for access. As a note, the Ma'alaea location is central to everything, but not necessarily close to anything - a car is definitely needed and you have to drive to get pretty much anywhere. Overall, a beautiful and quiet location - we would stay again in a minute!

First trip to Maui

I highly recommend this Condo! Easy drive to/from airport. This condo is ground floor with beautiful views. Very beautiful and comfortable inside as well, with everything you need. Centrally located to many activities. Especially liked being able to walk to the boat charters. Very small shopping area close enough to walk to, but if you are looking for shopping you will have to drive 15-20 minutes down the road. The beach that is accessible by the building is small and not for swimming. A short, maybe 15 minute walk down the road does provide a beach where you can relax and play in the water. Communication with the owner was great. We had all the information we needed and were provided great ideas to help us plan out activities.

Beautiful Maui Condo Vacation

We could not have asked for a better experience or place to stay for our Maui Family trip. Our host, Lisa provided us with a list of places to visit, eat, excursions, and shop so we could plan our trip ahead of time. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the lanai is spectacular and as we were there New Year's Eve, the fireworks across the bay made the evening perfect. The condo is an easy drive to many attractions. If we had any questions, Lisa quickly answered any texts sent. The welcome basket of snacks and Hawaiian treats was an unexpected surprise. My children and I try and take one family trip a year and this is definitely one of the best places and experiences we have had.

If we had come to Maui just to sit on the patio and watch the ocean, it would have been enough. The condo is comfortable, beautifully remodeled with wonderful details including custom cabinets, slate floors, lighted soffits, original oil paintings and block prints of the islands and, except for a microwave, a fully equipped kitchen. It also supplied everything needed for beach expeditions—guidebooks, binoculars, thick beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, totes. We loved the location because it was quiet but an easy drive to Lahaina, Kihei and Kaanapali. Bravo to the owners for creating such a lovely vacation home!

Sunsets and Sunrises

We would like to thank Lisa for her hospitality and letting us share in this little piece of Maui Paradise. We enjoyed many sunrises and sunsets only to be outdone by an incredible total lunar eclipse on November 8th, 2022.

Wonderful condo on Maui!

What a wonderful time we had on Maui staying in this gem of a condo! It was just perfect for our family of three. Right from the beginning our trip was off to a great start through easy communication with owner Lisa. She made sure we were warmly welcomed upon our arrival. The condo is very clean, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and inviting. It includes many useful touches that made our Maui adventure even better; including beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers. The sound of the ocean right outside the door can’t be beat, we enjoyed many sunrises right on the lanai. I can definitely recommend a stay at this condo and we hope to return someday.

Perfection!

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful, oceanside condo. Everything inside the condo is lovingly done--it does NOT feel like a generic rental--incredible woodwork, artwork and great layout for two couples. Each night we saw sea turtles at the small beach, which is basically off the back patio. Centrally located for exploring the entire island, which is what we did. Lisa is lovely to work with--excellent communication and clearly wanted us to have a great time. HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing!

Lisa’s home is beautifully decorated, right on the ocean, with all the comforts of home and everything extra you could need on your Maui vacation. The location is central to all parts of the island so getting around was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Awesome location, excellent and super clean/comfortable

Everything about this place was 5 star. The condo is a mahogany dream, the craftsmanship superb! Very clean and very comfortable. Right on the shore, with great snorkeling and whales breaching. Easy access to everything.

An amazing experience

We arrive to island Maui for the first time. Everything was just perfect. Lisa’s place was more than we expected. All day long we heard the waves sound and it was very calming. It was spotless had everything we needed for our stay, from kitchen supply to beach chairs. Communicating with Lisa was very smooth and she was very generes and let us do early check in and late check out which we appreciate a lot!! We highly recommend Lisa’s place!!!

Pristine oceanfront condo!

Wow…where can I even begin! From the time we first walked into 108 to the time we left, we felt extremely welcomed and at home. We were consistently in awe of how beautiful this condo is. Lisa did an amazing job with all of the finishing touches, right down to the linens. We would stay here again in a heartbeat next time we return to Maui! Truly a gem! Everything was thought of as far as furnishings go and each item was top notch quality. We also slept so well each night on those amazingly comfortable mattresses. Yay! Thank you for everything and for all of your kindness. If you’re looking for a beautiful and pristine oceanfront place to stay on your Maui vacation, look no further!

Home away from home

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the incredible care that has gone into this place. Lisa has done a great job. She was very easy to work with and communicated in a timely manner. We were able to fully relax and rest at this beautiful place. Each morning we would wake up and read our bibles on the lanai, while listening to the ocean. Highly recommend. We would come back for sure.

Perfect Condo for a mother/ daughter get away!

This condo was immaculate, well stocked, and in a fantastic location. There were beaches, bars, and restaurants we could walk to easily and it was an easy drive to explore the rest of Maui. It's a quieter area than some areas, but that was what we wanted. The complex and pool are lovely and well maintained. Lisa made the whole process clear and easy and I felt very comfortable communicating with her. We especially loved having the top quality beach chairs, coolers, pool noodles, and lots of beach towels for adventures. The AC unit was the quietest unit I've ever experienced and you could still enjoy the lanai while it was running which was great!

The place and Lisa are Amazing everything is clean and keep up to dates. View was fantastic and local beach was quite and had only few people along the 3 miles of open sand beach. Will come back if I ever have the opportunity.

Maui Anniversary Trip

Aloha! Absolutely Wonderful!!! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. First time ever doing a vrbo. We had a couple of hiccups when we booked but they where easily corrected. The condo is right on the ocean, you can listen to the soothing waves all day and night. Centrally located to most anything you want to do on the island. Just down from the harbor to go on whale, snorkeling, or sunset tours, and just down the road you can walk to the beach that stretches 5 miles around the Ma'alaea Bay. Also the Maui Ocean Center. We watched the whales every day from our lanai. So fun to watch the mother whale teaching the calf. I watched the sunrise every morning over Haleakala from the lanai. There was so many extras in the condo including binoculars, beach towels and chairs, lots of kitchen supplies. We rented a car for our stay and I think we drove almost every inch of the island some places we went back two and three times. Lisa kept in contact with us thru email and if I had any concerns she was always able to take care of things. Over all it has been the most worry free and relaxing vacation. Wonderful Maui Stay!

We had the most wonderful vacation at Lisa's condo! The view from our lanai was beautiful and we watched whales every morning while sipping our coffee (bonus thank you for providing binoculars)! There was a small beach just steps away where we saw turtles every day in the water and just a short walk (1/2 mile at max) was Haycraft Park, which has a beautiful sandy beach that stretches all the way to Kihei! Lisa was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed and there was a wonderful gift basket upon our arrival. We also loved that she provided beach chairs, a parasol, beach towels, wicker beach mats, and a small cooler for all of our beach-going needs! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We cannot wait to come back!

Whale watching in February! Amazing!

Wonderful stay! Immaculately clean condo, well equipped with everything we needed, beautiful views from the lanai, steps from ocean and pool. We watched the whales all day long in the bay right from the lanai. The little village had most everything we needed otherwise we were 15 minutes to Kihei or 15 minutes to Lahaina...great location! A short walk to miles of sandy beach!! Lisa was the very helpful and always available if we had any questions. We will definitely be back to stay in Island Sands 108!!

Perfect condo for 2 couples

I was so excited to find a property that essentially had 2 master bedroom setups since my husband and I were traveling with another couple. I love the attention to details in this condo! The furniture and decor is lovely and made us feel at home in Hawaii. We ate breakfast on the lanai each morning (sunny, so wore our hats and sunglasses) and watched for whales as we relaxed to the sounds of the ocean. Our host is a great communicator who anticipated every question and provided directions, suggestions, and even a personal note for us upon arrival. This was truly a 5-star property and a wonderful vacation experience. I would definitely stay again!

Quiet waterfront retreat

Our party of four stayed for a week in early March. The condo was beautifully appointed and comfortable. There are several restaurants a short walk away with live music in the evenings. We loved whale watching from the lanai and spending time on the small beach a few steps from the door. Lisa, the owner made sure that everything was perfect and answered all of our questions. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Perfect Getaway

My mother and I found great comfort in this welcoming, clean, well-designed condo directly on the water where we watched whales swim by from the lanai. It’s a great, quiet yet central location on the island. All the special touches were greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!
