With ample room and durable bamboo decor, this plantation-style beach suite is less than a minute's walk to the beach. This spacious, air-conditioned home sleeps up to eight people and is the perfect gathering place for family, friends, and loved ones.

This 3,000 square foot suite is half of the Pane Makai Beach House duplex. With Five bedrooms, the Dolphin Suite can easily accommodate twelve adults with two living areas, and a kitchen that seats 12.

Just steps from the beach, enjoy panoramic ocean views from the upstairs lanai and garden views below. A historic lava rock wall surrounds the property on three sides, softened by 100-year-old Monkeypod trees and tropical foliage. Enjoy BBQs in the large yard and special access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club! With a convenient location, spacious layout and ample amenities, this vacation rental has something for everyone.

Our 2nd fantastic stay

This is the 2nd time my family stayed at this house. It's just as fantastic as the photos make it look. The absolute highlights are: it has tons of space including tons of bed space, and it's a super short walk to the beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs & umbrellas provided. We will definitely be staying here for a 3rd and 4th time when we visit Kauai again in the future!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay with our twin 15-month-olds, my husband & I, and my parents. The place is HUGE and our newly walking kids had so much fun toddling around. Management was incredibly responsive. Best of all, it's a 5 minute walk to Poipu Beach! We can't wait to come back.

Excellent stay

We loved staying in this house (8 people) -- there was plenty of space including 2 bonus day beds upstairs that were easy to use as a bed for the kids. There were a few small issues that got resolved immediately by messaging the host. Great communication & I appreciate the timely responses. In fact, we loved this place so much that we've already re-booked it for a trip next year! Thanks to the hosts for being great!

The property was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location—just minutes from Poipu Beach and other great activities. Access to the Athletic Club was a huge bonus!That said, we did experience a few maintenance issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the oven wasn’t working, though a contractor was fortunately available to troubleshoot the electrical panel. Midway through our visit, the microwave stopped working as well, and several outlets, lights, and ceiling fans functioned intermittently.My biggest disappointment, however, was when the management company asked my brother-in-law and two-year-old niece to leave promptly at 10 a.m., rather than allowing them to wait an extra 30 minutes for their ride to the next destination. A bit more flexibility in that situation would have gone a long way.

Close to beach family house

This property was wonderful and a few blocks walking distance to Poipu Beach. They provided all beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. When asked for more paper products, they were delivered immediately. I’d recommend this property to anyone needing at least 3 bedrooms. The daily access to the pool at athletic club the street was a game changer for my college aged boys who worked out, played basketball and pickleball daily. The only thing is there’s no closet for the master bedroom so we had to hang our clothes in the downstairs bedrooms. Otherwise it was perfect for our family of 7.

Awesome Poipu location!

We had a fantastic time at this rental! It’s four houses from the beach. The management company was super responsive and Aubrey especially took care of us. The Poipu athletic club privileges are nice too. They need to replace some foggy windows and the layout isn’t ideal but the fun traditional Hawaiian furniture was cool. This is a great place for a family with room to spread out.

A great location in paradise

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation at Joshua's place. Everything was there for our enjoyment. The location could not be better, just a short walk down to the beach and Poipu area. Having access to the swim and athletic club was also a bonus at the end of a busy day. Everything was clean, hygienic and we never felt we were worried about exposure to germs. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay on the island of Kauai

Luxury and Comfort Right at the Beach

Our family stayed at the Turtle house this summer and it was such a rewarding experience for us. The house is within walking distance to both Breaker and Poipu Beach. We also spent a lot of time at the Poipu Athletic Club pool which is included in this rental. House was clean and stocked with beach chairs, towels, pool floaties, toys, boogie boards. It was exactly what we needed. The property is well managed and we had wonderful interactions with the management company. Looking forward to coming back!

The Turtle at Pane Makai Beach House rocks!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only one block from one of the best beaches on the planet, the Turtle side of the Pane Makai house (it's a duplex) is perfect for families with ample space, killer ocean views and a big yard. It would be also be ideal for 2 small families vacationing together as the upstairs and downstairs are like two different apartments (though only the downstairs has a kitchen). Family reunion? You could rent the whole house and fit at least 16. The property management folks were super helpful. The Dolphin side of the house is noisier as it's closer to a sports bar, but we barely heard any noise on the Turtle side. This is the perfect house if you want privacy, space and just a quick walk to a lovely beach that offers something for everyone: kids and adults alike.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful family vacation. The house was very comfortable for the 7 of us. It could have easily held several more people. The kitchen had all the amenities for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The children enjoyed watching some movies and playing with toys upstairs after a long day at the beach. The house is located at the end of a quiet neighborhood with views of the ocean off the balcony. The hose outside was great for washing off sand and the garage was nice for hanging snorkel equipment to dry. Big beach towels were provided which was nice. We walked several times to the pool and tennis courts which was about 1/2 mile away. The sunrise and sunset walks along the beach were amazing. We saw sea turtles and monk seals on the beach every day. The kids enjoyed catching critters in the tide pools. An overall exceptional house and vacation. We hope to come back again some day.
