The Neighborhood:

Our home is backed up against Joshua Tree National Park, with incredible views over the quiet neighborhood and our many Joshua Trees, cacti and wildlife. At just 5 minutes from downtown and 10 from the park entrance, you'll have a serene home base for all that Joshua Tree offers. We are also the highest hot win all of Joshua Tree.



Other Things to Note:

Please note that we strictly enforce outdoor noise rules and penalties.

There should be no outdoor noise after 9pm.



Guests are expected to be respectful of nature, neighbors and noise levels.

◦ THINGS TO NOTE:

◦ PET FEE: $195 We are unable to accommodate cats due to the owner's severe allergy. Appreciate your understanding!



◦ WILDLIFE: This is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. You may encounter desert ants, mice, snakes, coyotes, or if you’re lucky a bobcat. Please keep them on their side of the home by keeping the doors closed!



◦ NOISE/LIGHT ORDINANCE: Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No external speakers allowed. Any noise related discrepancies will result in at least a $1000 fine. We do have a light ordinance to preserve stargazing for the high desert.



◦ SMOKING POLICY: No smoking inside the house or within 10ft. Smoke residue will result in excessive cleaning fees



◦ RESTRICTED AREAS: Any locked closet or room is restricted. If forcibly entered you could be held liable for any unaccounted for item.



◦ HOT TUB:

- Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it’s been serviced, as chemical levels are temporarily elevated. We have weekly pool cleanings, this day may fall on your stay and your cooperation will keep the hot tub clean and balanced at all times.

- Please rinse off any oils, lotions, or substances before entering the spa, as these can affect water quality and cause discoloration.

- No drinking in the hot tub, please.

- No glass whatsoever by the water. We provide plastic cups for your use.

- Be sure to keep the cover on when not in use, especially since we're in the desert and debris can easily get into the water.



Any misuse of the hot tub may result in an additional charge for extra maintenance.



◦ PHOTOSHOOTS/VIDEO: No un permitted photoshoots or videoing at the home. If you would like to use our home for those purposes please send us a message. Any unauthorized filming will result in a $5000 violation and production fee.





◦ Unauthorized early check-in and late check-out are will result in $50 per half hour fine. Please reach out to us as we are happy to give early checks in when the home is ready.

◦ Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address
