A'HH LURE!!!
Step back in time with this charming 1950s updated lake retreat. No details have been spared. Your cozy getaway awaits in Lake Lure at this lovely house. With two bedrooms, including a queen bed and a sofa bed (with 6" Memory Foam Mattress), it comfortably hosts guests looking for a relaxing retreat. The house features an update kitchen with all new appliances and a dining area with a wonderful view of the lake. There are two full bathrooms, each with a refreshing shower and a hair dryer for convenience. Guests will appreciate that every level has its own mini-split HVAC unit, set them to your needs without bothering your companion guests. Off the 2nd level there is a small deck with a Gas Grill and Blackstone griddle, absolutely perfect for enjoying peaceful morning coffee or tranquil evening relaxation. Also, there is a boathouse @ lake level with a screened porch with a ceiling fan and small refrigerator. If you are brave enough to jump off the top deck, feel free, there's 24 ft. of water below at full pond! Paddleboards, Kayaks and a large floating dock will assist you when enjoying the lake. Dining is a less than 2 minute walk across the street with a newly constructed Marina due to open Spring 2026 and the Ingles grocery store is right around the corner .5 miles away. If you choose to go into town, Chimney Rock and more fine dining experiences as well as other activities are a simple 7 minute ride away. Whether you’re unwinding after a day of adventure or preparing for a night out, this gorgeous space offers everything you need. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember. PLEASE NOTE THE LAKE IS NOW OPEN YOU ARE FREE TO USE IT! ENJOY!!

There are 3 Kayaks, 2 Paddleboards and an inflated Floating Dock for your pleasure. There are also 12 Life Vests for use. We, A'hh Lure, highly advise you to wear a life vest for your own safety. NC Law states that anyone aged 13 or less are required to wear a floatation devise.
The Kayaks and Paddleboards as well as the Floating Dock are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON SITE.

This was our second time back and was just as great as our last visit! This property is immaculate and so comfortable…cannot beat the location and the views! We rented a boat again and it was seamless with the delivery to the dock…could not think of anything else the property would need…kitchen is fabulous …so centrally located to everything…did an am hike at Chimney Rock that was just a few mins down the road..as always the host is amazing…cannot wait to go back again!

Beautifully updated, good use of space, perfect lake cove location. Motion-sensor lights in home thoughtfully placed. Note that to get to second bedroom (pull out sofa), the indoor steps are more ladder-like than steps, but we found that quite charming. Would definitely stay here again.

All rooms were as described, clean, and appointed well. Of course, no one with a disability nor trouble manipulating an inside ladder entry to 2nd bedroom / sitting area or steep steps would be comfortable with layout; but this was in description. Nice home that is well cared for. Close to nice restaurant and grocery...enjoyed stay.

The cove is great! Extremely convenient location. We walked to dinner and the grocery store is less than a quarter mile away.

Great place on Lake Lure. Walking distance to restaurant on Lake. Grocery store within a couple minute drive. Great location and clean property.

We had a great stay- it’s a quiet, beautiful cove but close to the store, restaurants, and activities. The house well clean and well appointed for a family of 4 and our dog.

Loved every minute of our stay at Lake Lure. The house was perfect for our small family & pup. Having direct access to the Lake was amazing. We made good use of the kayaks, paddle board, and floating island. My daughter said she got the best sleep in her life...on the pullout sofa. The house was super clean, had upgraded kitchenware (which is rare in a rental property), and is situated in a great location. We enjoyed exploring local restaurants and seeing the new & improved Chimney Rock take shape. This area is really special and one of a kind. If you're looking for some R&R or just some good old fashioned family fun...this hits the mark. Hope to be back next year!

This house was everything expected and more for our Fall Break with the kids. I booked the property because of the bottom floor room guest room, accessible by floor ladder from the inside, just off the main bedroom (I knew my boys would love this adventurous space of their own, and they did ). The weather was perfect on the lake and there were kayaks and life jackets for everyone. We enjoyed feeding the turtles by the dock, fishing, and I especially enjoyed early morning coffee with the cove view. This is our first time back to Lake Lure post Helene, and we had such a wonderful time. The town is rebuilding and there was plenty to do. The Lake Lure flowering bridge is still one of our favorite places and we just so happened to visit when they replaced the rainbow bridge, which was very special. I would give this house 10/10. Michael was very helpful and communicated wonderfully. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for relaxation and connecting with nature. The location was perfect.

Perfect Lake Lure Stay

Great stay. Perfect for small family. The house was very clean & nicely updated. The kayaks and stand up paddle boards were a great amenity. My kids loved jumping onto the water from the dock! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to relax!

We absolutely loved this property and location. It's the perfect place to slow down and relax, and enjoy the beauty of Lake Lure. Having the kayaks were a huge plus as well. The property was super clean and very well maintained, and the amenities were abundant and very nice. Hope to go again one day!

We had the absolute best long weekend and the place was amazing! Everything was perfect! I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness and the place was immaculate! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the quality of everything was great! Most rentals cheap out and they did not here…bed was really comfortable and the linens were nice as well. The boat house was a treat and all the kayaks, paddle boards and the floating dock made it great for water fun! We rented a 20’ pontoon boat that was delivered to the house and it fit perfectly at the dock…the location of the property is spot on for access to the lake…head under the bridge and you are right on Lake Lure…forget something …Ingles is a one minute drive up the road with a gas station if you need to fill up for the ride home…Michael the host could not have been nicer to deal with…really felt like he cared a lot and just was concerned about us having a great time…we brought our dogs and they loved it! We cannot wait to go back again…overall just a perfect trip at a perfect rental!

We loved the house and location. Everything was super clean and updated! Another huge bonus was having the Lake House Bar & Grill within walking distance (probably .2 miles). Thanks for a great getaway!

Quick vacay

We had a great extended weekend at Ahh Lure. The house was beautiful and location excellent. We enjoying swimming and using the kayaks and paddle boards. Sitting on the balcony for morning coffee was peaceful and great way to start the day. We look forward to returning.

Great Location

We really enjoyed having access to the water just outside our door. Sitting in the screened in porch is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. We walked over to the Lake House for dinner and had a good meal. Would recommend.
