Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of crawl space and two closets that are used for storage.

Other things to note
We’re happy to host families with children.
Please be aware, however, that the chalet is not entirely child-safe and will require supervision for young guests. Please be mindful of the following hazards:

• Unfenced yard with direct access to steep areas, acres of woods and native animals.
• An open staircase with a wire railing.
• Furniture that is not mounted to the wall and may tip over (dressers).
• Outlets without covers.
• Wood burning stove that might get hot to touch.

By requesting to book, you are agreeing to full responsibility and liability for all children present during your stay and agree that they will be monitored by a responsible adult at all times.

Location:
Montview Chalet is located in the wooded Pocono Mountains, where wildlife is naturally present - including deer, bears, raccoons, snakes, birds, and various insects. While the house is professionally maintained, staying in a forested environment means that wildlife or insects may occasionally be seen on the property or, rarely, inside the home. This is a normal part of the setting and is outside of our control.

For winter reservations, professional snow removal is arranged for the driveway and entry path. However, service timing is not guaranteed and is subject to the vendor’s availability. Guests assume all responsibility for navigating the property during these times, as conditions may remain hazardous until the crew is able to attend to the property.
