This 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom Spanish style classic has been restored in a style that remains faithful to its heritage, yet providing all the contemporary comforts inside - & recreational facilities outside - that you desire.

Entering this home lands you in the vaulted ceiling living area, where a large U-shaped sofa provides ample seating for the 8 guests this home can accommodate across its 4 en-suite bedrooms. Additional seating is provided by the deep cushioned alcove, & the original gas fireplace adds that cozy element while viewing the large wall-mounted TV that sits above.

The adjacent dining area is a sight to behold w/ its arched windows, banquette seating and large round table providing a unique area to gather and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner surrounded by abundant natural light.

The nearby kitchen has recently undergone a full remodel & now provides bar seating, large counters, Fisher Paykel integrated refrigerator, gas range & a microwave amongst its dark oak cabinetry & soapstone countertops. The adjacent bar area, with a beverage fridge, provides for those who would like a drink before, during, and/or after dinner, in true Hollywood style.

Moving to the game room that opens up to the pool area, here you will find a games table, games & puzzles, record player, additional seating, a fireplace & a private nook making the perfect place for quiet reading.

Stepping out to the pool deck, a large 8-seater teak dining table provides for poolside feasting, with a nearby built-in gas barbecue grill able to contribute to the menu. The pool & spa features that classic kidney shape w/ six sun loungers & three umbrellas providing the optimum environment for soaking up that desert sun with a little shade, all in complete privacy.

Beyond the pool, the first class facilities continue with a large fire pit with comfortable seating for six, a full-size tennis and pickleball court, plus shuffleboard court, all with magnificent mountain views. Yes, with so much to do, start thinking about extending your stay!

Meanwhile on the east side of the house, a second outdoor dining area provides the perfect place for breakfast as you bask in the rising morning sun.

The Greta Suite
The largest of the suites, named after Greta Garbo, presents a split-level aesthetic plus separate sofa area with fireplace. The impressively carved wooden queen poster bed exudes comfort with 100% cotton Brooklinen linens. Meanwhile the unique cave-like stone shower will have you feeling like you’re washing under a waterfall. The Greta Suite also features a wall-mounted TV and french doors granting you direct pool access.

The Rita Suite
Named after Rita Hayworth, this suite’s king bed provides a hotel quality mattress covered in 100% cotton Brooklinen linens, the same quality brand of towels and robes you will find in the adjacent newly remodeled en suite that features a shower/bath & large oak vanity with soapstone counter. You will also enjoy a 65” TV & direct access to the outdoors.

The Ava Suite
Providing magnificent pool views through the large picture window, this suite - named after Ava Gardner - provides the comfort of a beautifully carved queen-sized wooden poster bed with 100% cotton Brooklinen linens. The attached en suite presents a classic period aesthetic with its shower & bath alcove, supplemented by vanity & toilet.

The Lana Suite
Named after Lana Turner, this suite’s queen poster bed provides a hotel quality mattress covered in 100% cotton linens from Brooklinen, as well as a workspace & wall-mounted TV. The adjacent en-suite’s original features have been retained though refreshed, giving you a shower, bath, basin, toilet & bidet.

Casa Las Damas is located at the south end of Palm Springs in the quiet Mesa neighborhood, making it just minutes’ walk to iconic venues such as Bar Cecil, El Mirasol, Mr. Lyons, Gigi’s, The Reef, King’s Highway, Kreem, Gabino’s & more. It is just a short drive to a selection of supermarkets, the Warm Sands vintage precinct & Downtown Palm Springs itself.

The Host with the Most Team can be available for anything you need & will greet you in person within 24 hours of your arrival. This home is self check-in & setup with everything you need to relax and unwind.

Other Details to Note:
A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the short term rental guidelines and rules and all adult guest names listed on the contract. This is a city requirement.

• A face to face greeting is required by the city of Palm Springs within 24 hours of arrival at the home. Host with the Most will reach out to schedule this greeting soon after your arrival.

• Pool heating is an additional $95 per night of your visit. Spa heating is included with your reservation.

• This home is not child proofed or child friendly. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool & hot tub without child locks, we do have breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise their child at all times & do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed/child friendly.

• Stays over 14 nights will be charged a mid stay cleaning a minimum of every 14 nights of the stay at a rate of $675 per cleaning. This includes a full linen turnover and amenities refresh.

• Surveillance or recording devices on property - Ring camera at front door and carport to monitor entrance and noise monitoring device inside main living area and pool area. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels).

HOUSE RULES-
•No parties are allowed- although, having a few guests (up to 4 between the hours of 10AM and 10PM) over for dinner and drinks is encouraged. We want you to enjoy your time without a bunch of rules but please be respectful of the space and of our neighbors.
•There are noise ordinances here in PS, so NO MUSIC is allowed outside on any device at ANY TIME. In addition, there can be no outdoor noise after 10PM. There is NO MUSIC ALLOWED OUTSIDE. NO music on your phone, bluetooth device - NO MUSIC. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ANY & ALL fines and you can and will be subject to removal from the property with no refund for unused time. The minimum charge is $500 if they are called out and if a complaint is made to our staff, city compliance, or the police, and/or citation is issued you will be asked to leave immediately with NO refund - so PLEASE have fun but bring it inside after 10PM and remember about music being a NO NO at anytime outdoors - not even inside with doors open so it can be heard outside.
•We do allow a dog w/ an additional pet fee & OTA service fees. Registered service dogs are exempt but please let us know if the service animal is required because of a disability & what task the dog has been trained to perform. We DO allow service dogs. Any dog must be TAKEN OFF PROPERTY to do their business, cleaned up after, & not allowed on furniture or in the pool or spa.
•This is a NON-smoking unit -- NO smoking inside but you may smoke outside provided ashtrays are used & doors & windows are closed. If discovered that guests have been smoking indoors, the booking party will be responsible for a minimum $500 smoke cleaning fee.
***TOILET*** DO NOT THROW ANYTHING BUT TOILET PAPER INTO THE TOILETS. All other garbage (i.e. Tampons, baby wipes, paper towels, etc) is to go into the waste basket.
•Please DO NOT bring glasses in or around the pool or spa. There are plastic glasses provided for pool and spa use.
•Please bring all trash & recycling to the large bins when removing from the home.
•Please DO NOT leave any flammables such as candles, incense unattended.
•Missing &/or stained LINENS will be charged to the guest at the current ONLINE rate for replacement. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS will be charged to the guest accordingly for the cost of replacement.
