Room was clean, nice furnishings, except the bed was a bit hard for my taste.

Pros:Simple studio room with king bed & sofa sleeper. Pleasant interior decor. AC was cold and fan moved the air. Cons:King bed mattress sags on right side. Not very comfortable for sleeping. Called Help Desk at check-in to confirm building code since I did not park a car. Agent was unsure code. Pictures on VRBO site are not of the actual room. The room was on the 1st floor with a walk out patio but was not anywhere near the pool as shown in the pictures. The room did not have an ice maker nor did the property as described by website and the help desk. WiFi information was not as listed on website nor in unit instructions. Information about San Destin transportation was incorrect in the unit (only one tram card provided). Check out process differed from posted instructions and emailed instructions.

I think it’s fair to mention the room is actually located two floors below the pool area. The listing actually depicts the unit being on the same level as the pool amenities, which was kind of misleading. Also, the curtains on the sliding doors are very thin so at night the light at the street/sidewalk shines into the room- making the room lit at sleep time. The bright blue light from the clock on the microwave shines right in the eyeball if you wake up during the night. With a little tweak the room would be perfection. The two bedside electrical outlets are wore out and really need to be swapped out with new outlets.. it was difficult to keep the charger cords plugged in because the outlet holes are wore out. I did not see all the access codes and had to ask multiple times and didn’t get them until last night… the code to the building is different from the pool code and the unit code.. the codes need to be plainly stated and provided to each guest. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Great location but some issues with the room

The handle in the shower is broken and would fall off every time we used it. Which was a minor inconvenience. There were not any blankets or pillows for the sofa bed. This would have been much appreciated as we had to purchase a blanket to accommodate our needs. Although these are downfalls, they are not things that would prevent us from having a good experience, until…. We found cockroaches in the sofa bed! This is completely unacceptable! For the price of the room, I would expect better. I’m a pretty understanding individual however it was very upsetting and made it extremely difficult to feel comfortable and relax in the space.

Clean room, fully stocked, comfy bed, great pool and hot tub area. Quick responses when we had internet issues. Loved walking around the wharf in the evenings. Watched a band and fireworks. Beach is super close by car or tram. A little tight with 3 of us when the pull out couch was opened. But overall a great place.
