Enjoy a fun vacation in a cabin perfect for families and groups - and their dogs! Enjoy views of the mountains as you take in the true log style construction. An expansive deck and a wood stove indoors means that there's plenty of spaces to chat and play games together. Watch deer eat from the field just beyond! The work station in the second ground floor bedroom is perfect for if you still have some remote work to finish up before exploring. But the most outdoorsy of the group may love the loft bedroom best, which is set up with its own full bathroom nearby and a lovely view of the home's vaulted ceilings on the landing. Once you're back from a walk or a climb, the dusty clothes can go straight into the private washer/dryer. Load up some wood into the wood stove, cook up some snacks in the full kitchen, and settle in to stream some Netflix. It's easy to relax in a cabin!

Lake Fulmor and Lake Hemet are both within ten miles of this cabin, perfect for groups that want to check out multiple locations. Hikers and climbers will appreciate being just over one mile from Mount San Jacinto State Park. Connect to the Marion Mountain Trail six miles away if you're looking for a tougher challenge. And of course, stop by Atomic Cow Creamery (one-and-a-half miles from the cabin) afterward for grilled cheese and ice cream.

A 4x4 is required to reach this home in winter.

This was a lovely cabin nestled in the woods. Tons of space, clean and comfy beds. The only thing is, it did smell a tad musty when we arrived, but we opened the windows and that helped a lot. Totally worth the rental price- would come

The bed and mattress in the master bedroom were quite old, and the mattress had a noticeable sag. The kitchen was generally very good, though the coffee machine was small and the pot only held enough for one large mug. Everything else was excellent.

This was one of the best experiences Iā€™ve had with Vacasa! Iā€™m going to be using them in the future, especially for the big holiday get together we do with our family every year for Thanksgiving up in the tall pines. I will use Vacasa for every vacation going forward!

Nice Location & Good Size

Size of house is good, including living and kitchen areas. Both bedrooms also a good size; 2nd bedroom & bath are upstairs. Note - home had portable fans but no a/c, in case thatā€™s what youā€™re looking for.Location is close to town, just a short car ride, but far enough away for lots of quiet.

Off the beaten path

Truly! Itā€™s a quiet gem of a house. Off the 243 highway but very close to town. The outside was a bit more wild than we would have liked with 2 sightings of coyotes in the morning and early evening. Besides that, the house and amenities were great. Communication was great with the team when we couldnā€™t figure out the AC so overall a winner!

Nice Idy cabin

This rental was ideally located close to the town, but not too close. Was spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The living room was comfortable and well appointed. The outdoor area overlooks, a small meadow, which was nice. The only drawback I would say were the beds were not comfortable, and the bedrooms were all very dark. There wasnā€™t much lighting.

I loved: the roomy interior, full kitchen, 7 beds (could easily fit a large family), surrounded by woods, roomy patio, easy parking, close to town, lots of extra pillows and blankets, lots of closet space, fireplace, 2 bathrooms with showers, comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

We love this place. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. The location is perfect. It is peaceful and quiet yet close to town and trails. The view off the porch is wonderful and we love watching the deer, birds and squirrels.

Great spot near town but feels off the beaten path.

Great spot 5 min from town. 4x4 required when there's snow and the driveway is tricky. Comfortable cabin, large yard, pup friendly. Great for two families with younger kids due to the large multi bed loft.

Wonderful as always

Hi We stay here at least 2 times per year. It never disappoints. This stay we were treated to a herd of 8 deer who came through most days and one day we had 5 coyotes come through. It is a quiet and tranquil place to stay, yet close to town and wonderful hiking

Mothers Day weekend

My daughters I booked a last-minute trip for Motherā€™s Day weekend. This cabin was absolutely perfect. It was clean and cozy and very close to the center of town. It was perfectly decorated and definitely felt like a retreat away from home. I would highly recommend it and I look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful Cabin

Our stay was so nice and relaxing. The Cabin was beautiful, clean and perfect for our family vacation. We saw lots of coyotes & deer. We really enjoyed drinking hot coco on the back porch and watching the wildlife walk by. Can't wait to come back again.

The property was all it advertised and then some. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We saw plenty of birds and some deer and the property itself was off the highway and secluded. A lovely weekend retreat!
