Watch the waves and enjoy the bay and Port San Luis views from the windows of the house. Rental House Offers Coastal living, conveniently adjacent to downtown Avila Beach, California Central Coast. Enjoy the restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Stroll the Avila Beach Pier. Drive out on the Port San Luis wharf. Golf, boating, beachcombing. Hot mineral springs, outdoor heated pool, bicycle paths, many activities all within a short drive nearby.

Bedrooms: Include 3 queens, air bed in lieu of a sofa sleeper. Sleeps up to 8. Living room has cable TV/DVD, wireless internet/cable modem. Kitchen has all amenities including a dishwasher. Dining room has a table for six, with brand new dining chairs, overlooking the ocean. Downstairs bath has tub and shower. Upstairs bath has a shower
The exterior stairs lead to downstairs where one bedroom, bath, and laundry room are located. Charcoal BBQ.

Great location and views of the ocean. We love the floor to ceiling windows and multiple balconies. Kitchen well stocked with all the amenities. We’ll be back.

I rented the 75 San Antonia St, Avila Beach house from Sept 20th to Sept 27th. It was our first family beach vacation with our one-year-old grandson.What was NOT INCLUDED in the description or mentioned in the communications with the property management company was the major construction going on in front of the property. See attached pictures.When I called the property management company and inquired about the major construction and lack of disclosure, I was told it was described on the website, and I was given a reduced price because of it.Upon producing the VRBO website description “snap shots” confirming lack of disclosure of the construction or any price reduction, I was told that their website had a description, but VRBO had not copied correctly, but since I was given reduced pricing there is nothing more they could do.The construction started around 7:00 AM and ceased around 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. This greatly affected our daily activities, especially my grandson’s naps.I feel major construction and any price reduction because of it should be clearly stated in the rental description. If I was aware of such construction I would have never rented the property.

Cozy Home in a Prime Spot, with a Few Setbacks

We had great communication with the property manager, especially after an initial issue was quickly resolved. The location was excellent, convenient and close to everything we needed. The house itself was quaint and comfortably accommodated our group of five.Unfortunately, there was ongoing construction directly in front of the property that impacted our experience. It was loud at times and obstructed what would have been an amazing view. The construction also seemed to contribute to a layer of dust in the house, particularly in the kitchen, which made it feel less clean than expected.Overall, it was a charming place in a great spot, but the construction definitely took away from the experience.

Our stay included 4 adults and a child. We found the main house to be wonderful and exactly what was depicted in photos. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cookware and dishes. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bedroom accessible by stairs on the side of the house had a very musty smell which none of us wanted to sleep in, so we chose to all stay in the main house which was a tight squeeze. The outside of the house is in need of attention. There were spiders webs and excessive dirt covering the railing and seating of the side porches, so we were not able to utilize them. The front porch had plenty of seating but the ocean view was obstructed by an untrimmed bush.Unfortunately there is major construction occurring on the lot in front of the house which was not mentioned in the listing. We were not expecting to be awakened everyday at 7am by the sound of excavators. The location of this home is wonderful! You can’t find a location better than this.
Patio furniture has mold and railings dirt.
Dirty railings.
Excavators would start work at 7am and finish around 4pm.

Great Stay!

We had a great mini vacation in Avila Beach! The house was perfect walking distance to the beach & downtown. Our favorite was the view of the beach from the house! The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Quick visit to Avila

My wife and I stumbled on Avila Beach two years ago on a weekend visit to Central Coast. We were enchanted by Avila Beach and vowed to return. We made good on that during our current trip down the CA coast as we stopped for a short stay with our adult children. This property offered stunning ocean views, comfortable beds and a very pleasant location from which to enjoy Avila Beach for a more extended stay. We especially enjoyed the quiet of April with many of the stores and venues open but very unhurried and uncrowded.

Quite a pleasurable trip

Lovely views and location

This home has such a beautiful views of the ocean. So close to all the things we wanted to do such as sycamore Hot Springs, blue Moon Café in town, walk along the beach, Avila barn, etc. Highly recommend this place.

4 ladies who grew up together- now 70+ years old

We were stunned with the beauty, not only of the decor, but the extent of the oceanfront view from the kitchen, dining room and living room, and even one of the bedrooms. We took 4 mi. walks daily- but we loved our view so much that we only dined out on one night out of four

This was a gift to an employee and they had a wonderful time. They did mention there were no directions in the house about how to leave the property and no WIFI password. Overall had a great time.

What a view!

We had a great stay. Was perfect for 3 couples. It’s def a small living space but very well appointed and has a great use of space. We were all very comfortable! The view and location were spectacular! This is our third year staying in Avila and we hope to stay here again next time!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rendezvoused at the Avila Beach House for a birthday celebration and it was simply fabulous! NOTE: the light switch for the staircase is under the kitchen counter by the door. The kitchen is well appointed. The Brita pitcher was without a filter. Also, if you plan to cook bring all of your own condiments/seasonings. There are none at the house. From the house we saw sea lions, whales and even a rocket launched from Vandenburg AF Base. Pretty spectacular! Beds and linens were super comfortable, too! I look forward to the next opportunity to revisit this lovely home!
