Easy beach access is just minutes away at Don Davis Park, and the shops and restaurants of Nye Beach are just to the north, well within walking distance. The Newport Performing Arts Center is couple blocks away, and it’s just a short drive to the Oregon Coast Aquarium—both good family outings.

The location was great, walking distance to the beach. The beds were comfortable and there was a kitchen with coffee available. Dog friendly was a big plus.

Photos accurately show the property.Response from management was very fast during the stay.Place was very clean and smelled nice. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds and linens are comfortable, furniture is nice (not the usual yard sale collections), place is spacious, parking is easy. Great quiet location with an easy walk to the beach. Overall, a very nice stay with a few minor issues.Toilet was very low. I think it is the smallest industry standard size. We are both about 6 feet tall and older. It was very uncomfortable with such a low toilet. Light bulbs burnt out with no backups in the apartment. Can be difficult to work the security keypad. It took us about 10 tries initially, then we got the hang of it and only took 4 tries.

The location was nice, but why does the renter need a 10 digit code to get in?? (Most codes are 4 or 5 numbers.)I accidentally dropped something that went under the bed. Bent down with a hand sweep and it was dirty! Ugh! Found a broom & dustpan to try to retrieve my item. Note picture of just kind of sweeping one side pulled up.Not impressed.

Pros: Spacious, single level condo with nearby Nye Beach public access, within walking distance to dinner at the Allred Hotel and a cute local coffee shop- White Rabbit Espresso. & Having on-site laundry and a kitchen stoked with anything you needed aside from provisions was so helpful! Cons: The home did not look like it had been cleaned very well prior to our arrival. We had to sweep the living room as there were actual piles of animal hair. We also found someone’s press on nail beside the easy chair in the living room. It smelled like wet dog, we had to air the entire condo out and light the candle provided by the host, and it still smelled for the duration of our stay. I recommend air fresheners and deodorizing plug ins. Other that those things, we enjoyed our stay, and for the price it was as advertised!
