Only 2 washcloths for 4 people. No grab bars in both bathrooms. The checkout time of 10:00 was early and better at 11:00. Especially since you can’t check in until 4:00. The house was convenient and easy to find.

Lovely home with alot of space for our family…very comfortable! And Beverly State Park is a “jewel” right down the street…loved the trail!

The house was super clean! Very comfortable stay with my family, loved that the walk to the beach with the dogs was so easy!

We love the house. Older but all redone, very nice. Only reason for a 4 not a 5 is the dishwasher was not working. Feel they should have told us ahead of rental. Really liked the location, nice and quiet and near Beverly Park.

Well equipped and comfortable. The backyard was not fully fenced. We thought it was. That was the only surprise. We improvised.

The property location was wonderful and the beds were comfortable. House was clean. The problem we had was that so many of the amenities were broken and not usable. Or, just poorly maintained. Before we arrived, we were alerted that the stove/oven was broken and would not be available to use for the weekend. We had already purchased a large amount of food to prepare meals in the rental so we didn't have to eat out the entire weekend. This was a huge disappointment obviously and yes it did force us to eat out at restaurants all weekend long. The next thing that happened was the clothes dryer broke and our older son and wife had a wet load of clothes to dry and wound up heading out after 10pm at night to find a 24hr laundromat to dry their baby's clothes with. That was a huge inconvenience for them and took family time away from all of us (not to mention sleep). The other thing we noticed was a mildew smell on the towels in the house due to the dryer not functioning properly. Next on the list of house issues was a plugged tub drain in the upstairs bathroom. Water backed up around your ankles while showering which was gross because it was previous occupants hair and soap scum that had plugged the drain up. A general handyman was sent out the next day by Meredith Lodging but all he did was diagnose the issues. He wasn't prepared to fix anything so the dryer remained broken thru the weekend. He alleviated the plugged drain somewhat but really needed a plumber

I am truly sorry that several maintenance issues affected your otherwise happy stay with your family. I can confirm that our maintenance team has since repaired the range and the dryer. Both proved longer repairs than usual due to us needing to order several parts. I am truly sorry that we were not able to get these items fixed during your stay and I hope that the refund you received helps reflect our apologies. The housekeeping team will inspect and replace any linens they find lacking and we will continue to monitor the drain and ensure it remains clear. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Please know that we are using it to improve!
