Seal Rock Perch Getaway

Perfect getaway with all nice furniture, appliances, and amenities. We chose high quality accommodations because that is what we appreciate when we stay at a vacation home.

Our home has one bedroom (plush queen) and one bath. The two leather couches in the living room fold out to full beds. The kitchen is well setup for the weekend chef. The house has a beautiful and private green view with peeks of the ocean. Even though perched up on the hill, you can still hear the ocean and the sea lions when in action.

Nestled in between Newport attractions and culinary town of Yachats, State parks and beauty abound.

No pets and parking is limited to 2 vehicles.

We booked this on a Tuesday night for Wednesday three nights. It is a little way from Newport but not bad. NW Crane St is full of large potholes but manageable. Once we got the correct lock box code, everything was great. Very quiet and dark at night. The rain head shower is amazing. We would stay here again!

Beautiful and cozy location!

Couldn’t have been better! Well stocked, safe, cozy, and an amazing location! The hosts were super responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. Highly recommended and we plan on coming back!

Lovely Little Home

Lovely little home with a great deck for relaxing outside. This home is definitely all set up and ready for cooking and has so many amenities. Seal Rocks is a close 5 minute walk if you need a quick beach walk. So many other beaches and bays, and restaurants are so close by. We loved our stay, the bed was decent, couches were great and the movie selection has something for everyone.

Birthday Celebration.

We loved staying in this warm and cozy place. It had everything we needed and more; great movies, teas, spices, fireplace....We made it a romantic getaway for my husband's birthday and we loved walking to the beach and eating all the good foods! Overall, this place is Amazing! Don't let the outside fool you! Thats why you don't judge a book by its cover! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect roost

This is a great vacation home, perched above the fray on a quiet street. The decor is tasteful and modern. The bed is very comfortable and we slept with the window wide open all night. I would definitely come here again.

Attention to detail superb!

Everything was thought of for the guests in this property all the way down to welcome teats and extra toiletries in case they were forgotten. The attention to detail was highly appreciated and extremely welcoming. We did have a little trouble finding the location as it is located up the hill a little and I would recommend mapping before you lose any service, but the property itself was excellent!

Great little house

I would definitely stay in this house again! It is not much to look at from the outside but once you get inside it is clean and just adorable. The location was quite peaceful as well. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals and the little welcoming extras like trail mix/chocolate and coffee bar were such a nice touch. My ONLY complaint was the laundry detergent was so heavily floral scented that the sheets/towels were quite overwhelmingly smelly. Overall this was a great place for a quiet beach vacation.

Perfect hideaway

It was perfect for just the two of us to celebrate 58 years of marriage! This was probably the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in., with a kitchen equipped for the gourmet cook.

Cute little house! Great location

It looks so small from the outside, but inside is spacious and relaxing! The back deck was perfect, we enjoyed a nice fire while listening to the ocean waves. Very well stocked kitchen, bathroom and so many movies to relax with. Loved our stay!

Cute little beach house

We had a lovely stay at this cute little beach house. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the deck was a nice sunny spot to read a book after the fog rolled in at the beach. We love Seal Rock for its proximity to Seal Rock Beach, Ona Beach and Beaver Creek for kayaking. We enjoyed the wide range of movies to watch as well.

Peaceful, safe, quiet and thoughtfully stocked cabin.

This small beach house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just up the hill from a good little restaurant and across from Seal Rock State park. It is the most thoughtfully furnished house I have ever rented! From tea, coffee and spices to mints beside the bed. Nicely updated. I loved it. Newport is about 20 min north, Waldport about 10 min south.

Perch rental

Inside is great. Kitchen is well supplied with cookware as well as spices. Large side-by-side frig/freezer. Big table for meals. Bed was comfortable and the futon that made into a bed was also comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room and the wall "fireplace" in the bedroom. Wifi worked just fine. Outside needs updating. The patio table is ok, but none of the chairs looked like they would hold a toddler let alone an adult. Several chairs were missing seat support or had haphazard wire/rope strung for cushion support (cushions were in a separate storage box, and they looked ok). We did sit in the glider for a little while each day, and it was ok. The deck paint /stain is peeling and needs refinishing. The street is gravel and narrow as are most streets near by. The town of Seal Rock is great -- wood carving galleries, convenience store, and of course Luna Sea Seal Rock!

Excellent location and very private

A perfect getaway. Located in the Seal Rock area of the Oregon central coast. Nicely equipped and very comfortable. This is a small one bedroom house with two futons in the main room that can be used as beds. There was just two of us, so we found it very spacious. You can tell that the owners love this place. Congrats to George and Noah, the owners of this house. All the furnishings are on the newer side. This house has all the items needed to enjoy your stay in the area. This house is about five minutes to several coast parks and about fifteen minutes north to Newport. It is also about fifteen minutes south to Waldport. The house is located several blocks off the main highway, creating a private and quiet getaway. We found it very relaxing and comfortable. The house it very nice and we would recommend it to any traveler looking for a little bit of privacy and comfort in their stay on the Oregon coast.
