Really cute cottage overlooking the ocean. Perfect for a couple! We enjoyed the sound of the waves as we puzzled, and at night as we slept. We had hot cocoa on the deck in the evening, using the cozy lounge chairs. Perfect location, close to town, beaches, and sites. Cottage had everything we needed. Couch, table and bed were all sized nicely for us. Everything was very clean.

This is a great couples retreat. The place was cozy, quiet and private. enjoyed just sitting on the deck and watching the waves. Great place to chill and read a book.My only complaint was the bed was a little squishy and a bit difficult for my wife to get in due to mobility issues, but overall, slept great.

Wonderful property. Terrific views. Dog friendly, though no fenced yard. Quiet neighborhood. Having to walk along the narrow shoulder of busy Hwy 101 to get to beach access was a bit unnerving with an anxious dog. We ended up driving to the beach.

Cute and cozy!! Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Probably the cleanest places we’ve stayed in. Had everything we needed for our two night stay. The only negative is they advertise a two minute walk to the beach when in fact it’s about a five minute DRIVE to walk on the beach. That said, the view from this cottage is amazing!! We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each evening.

This was our first trip to the Oregon coast and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! There are so many things to do on the coast making it a great location for us. Our favorite things about our stay was listening to the ocean sounds while we sleep with the cool air. Some of the things that we did while we were here was, Cape Perpetua, Thors Well, Devil's Churn, Heceta Head Lighthouse and Devils punch bowl. Our favorite of those was Devils Punch Bowl when the tide is out and you can explore.

Beautiful place, pet friendly, wished we could have gone from the deck straight down to the beach - that would have made this place perfect. Nice space - wish we could have stayed longer.

We think this place is fantastic. Property was very clean, quiet and private. Fantastic view from a huge deck. No direct beach acccess, but as described only one block south. We drove the short distance rather than walking on Hwy 101. Also Ona Beach is little over 1/4 mile North. Unit is a stand alone property on a narrow private road, never saw another neighbor. We didn’t bring our dog, but there’s a nice side yard for one.Unit is stocked with everything we needed, can’t really think of anything we would change. There is no air conditioning, but not sure you really need it at the Coast anyway, although it did get warm when we left it closed up during the day.All in all a great experience 5 Stars!! We’ll be back.

This property is a fantastic getaway spot! With ample windows facing the ocean and a cozy deck with a well landscaped yard overlooking the ocean, we had connection to nature at all times. There were lots of sea lions on a rock roughly 1/4 miles off shore that were fun to watch with & without binoculars. The home was cozy, had comfortable furniture, had all the major supplies we needed and the staff was good at communicating when we reached out. Even though it’s right off the highway, between the ocean sounds and the barrier of vegetation we sure didn’t feel like it. Definitely recommend this property for a solo or couple getaway. Don’t forget to bring a good book - it’s a perfect place to enjoy reading!

Everything was great! Perfect with attention to detail and super cute. The view was spectacular and we plan to stay again if/when we can. The pet friendly aspect and early check-in was a pleasant surprise, and our dog loved it!

We love the Driftwood Cottage. Have stayed twice now and hope to book again. The size is perfect for a couple or one person. The ocean view includes a deck the full width of the cottage, plenty of deck chairs and access to the yard both front and back for the pup. Yard is always well maintained, no noise from neighbors and the inside is spotless and includes a towel warmer in the bath as well. Can't say enough great things and already look forward to returning. Beach access a couple minutes up 101. Love this cottage.

Beautiful Location

Great location!! Easy to get to Newport for dining and attractions but also a great place to stay if you want to go south and hike, look at tide pools or other local attractions.
