The Space:

554 Queens Grant is a beautifully dog-friendly villa located in Palmetto Dunes Plantation. This villa, which comes with shared access to a pool, tennis courts, and golf courses.

Queens Grant is nestled in Palmetto Dunes, within walking distance of the beach. Enjoy three golf courses in the plantation, as well as a conveniently located pool, tennis courts, and bike paths! This villa is just a short distance from the Atlantic Ocean, Alexander's Restaurant, and the general store. Guests can also take a short ride to Shelter Cove for a plethora of shopping and dining options.



As you enter the front door, you're greeted with plentiful natural light, cathedral ceilings, and wood flooring that spans the entire villa. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a unique backsplash. The kitchen overlooks the dining area, which has seating for six, and the living area, where you'll find a comfortable sectional sofa, free WiFi, a flatscreen TV, and access to the private patio. Plus, you can bring your lovely dog with you!



Off the entrance, you'll find the two bedrooms and bathroom. The large master bedroom features a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and plenty of closet space. The guest bedroom features a full-size bed, a twin bed, and a flatscreen TV.

Great vacation home

The vacation home was well furnished, clean and perfect size for our family. Recently remodeled! It was an easy walk to the beach and there are lots of great activities in Palmetto Dunes (golf, tennis, bike riding, etc). Lots of shopping and restaurants in and around this area of Hilton Head.

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience staying at this Villa. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed for a few days away. The biggest reason why we picked the Villa was because it was private and it allows dogs. It was very clean and organized. I hope we get the chance to come back and stay at this villa again on Hilton Head Island. 🏝️

Perfect location!

This was our first time staying in the Palmetto Dunes area, and you really did not need to go anywhere else but here! There are good restaurants, a general store, and convenient beach access. Our dogs really enjoyed tagging along with us, but we had to go around the villa next door to access a decent area for them to stretch their legs (aside from the beach) and to use the restroom. The villa itself was very tastefully decorated and updated. We loved the beachy feel! We will definitely come back again!

Great little place for peace and relaxation. We rented tricycles to ride back and forth to the beach. They were useful in transporting our stuff. The condo was great. Location great. Can’t complain of much.

Great location

Queens Grant is a great location to enjoy all that the area has to offer. Our specific accommodations had been updated but the outside area was not an ideal area to sit and relax. A little TLC - new cushions for the outdoor sitting chairs, an indoor/outdoor carpet would certainly make it much more appealing AND a gas BBQ would certainly be an asset. The main couch in the house is dated and needs to be replaced. Beds, linens and rest of the house were clean and comfortable.

Great location, clean and updated villa!

We have been to Hilton Head four years in a row, two years in a row to Palmetto Dunes. We love the area and the beach. Villa 554 was great! Updated, clean, and felt like home. Having the Dunes Buggy is so convenient when you have little ones who are too tired to walk to and from the beach. The Dunes House was amazing! Try the fish tacos or Caribbean jerk chicken wrap. The condo had everything we needed, except for a vacuum. With all the sand accumulated, a broom just wasn’t getting the job done. The beds were comfy, the rooms spacious. We’ll definitely be back!

A week at the beach

The unit is really cute but the couch was a bit outdated as well as the bedding. Now, with that said, it is dog friendly, and we did take our dog but it just felt really dated in some ways. Kitchen was great and complete with every appliance and utensil you could need. It had definitely been updated recently. Floors were super nice and although they looked clean, I am not really sure they had been mopped before we got there as they were definitely dirty. Not the owner's fault but the pool for this section of Queen's Grant was disgusting. The other ones looked much better than ours and we chose to swim in the other ones provided in the complex. Did love working with Vacasa - they made everything very easy. Overall we had a fantastic week at the beach.

Not a good experience

Unfortunately the place did not meet our expectations, nor was it up to standard with our units we’ve stayed in within the area. While I love the beautiful and accessible location of the unit, I will say the pictures exceed reality. We found that multiple (most) pictures were outdated of the unit (different furniture). The biggest issue we had during our stay though — we found 10+ live roaches during the week. All sizes - big, small - in multiple locations - kitchen, then the living room and bathroom. We spotted the roaches day and night. Typically when roaches are found during daytime there is a deep infestation, as roaches do not like the light. The place is infested with gnats as well. No garbage disposal. I believe a garbage disposal would help a lot with the pest issues. The second bedroom is very cramped. Also, missing details like a rug in the living room (although pictured). Needs a deadbolt; our toddler was able to easily open front door even if locked. Patio furniture barely usable (soaked the whole week, even with a cover on). Finally, the Vacasa team appears very profit focused and unfortunately we felt dismissed by their team with the complaints we had. Although I have other complaints I will stop there. Please look elsewhere within the neighborhood!

Very nice but...

The property was overall nice, with a few reservations. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes unless we ran it 2 times. I do understand that you supply paper products to be a starter kit. I do feel that, if the property is rented for multiple weeks there should be "starter kits" for each week. The products are built into the overall cost so only fair that, if paying for multiple weeks, starter products should be provided for each week. Also, other properties that we've rented have supplied bikes; that is a very nice touch. I understand that the cost would be built in, but it is much more convenient.

Very good property

Loved the fact that we were able to bring our dogs. The villa was very nice. Only wish it were a little closer to the beach, it was about a 10 minute walk.
