The Space:

This two-bedroom, two-bath Island Club condo is the right one to choose for family getaways and other gatherings. Fun can be had by all at the communityā€™s pool complex, hot tub, nine tennis courts, fishing lagoon, and picnic areas.



The villa is within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean and beach as well as the community's other amenities such as the basketball and racquetball courts and the health club and pro shop. From this condo in the Folly Field area, you're also a short drive away from the many fine shops and restaurants of Hilton Head Island.



Your fourth-floor condo has a fully equipped kitchen with updated cabinets, modern appliances, and a two-seat breakfast bar. The living room includes a 32-inch flatscreen TV with cable and DVD player, a pull-out sofa bed, and access to the oceanview patio via a set of sliding doors. The primary bedroom features additional access to the patio, a king bed, and a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. The second bedroom contains a twin and a queen bed and offers access to the full hallway bathroom.

The lap pool, kiddie pool, and tanning shelf will close on the evening of October 29, 2023, and re-plaster work begins on October 30. The hot tub will close on the evening of November 24. (Due to the re-plaster work, there may be times when the hot tub is not available.) All pools are scheduled to re-open on March 2, 2024 (date subject to change due to construction).



The heaters for both the lap and kiddie pools will stay on during the spring until the weather changes. The heaters will be turned back on in the fall, depending on the weather.

It's a shame they cannot get their wifi to work consistently. It does NOT match listing nor instructions given. They added another box, but wven it was very spoty so we used hotspot. Sent us our checkin info 2 hrs early, so we went there, unloaded and carried everything up to only find the cleaning crew still working. Why send it early if not ready? Place was clean and in good location.

We were so pleased last September booked it for our August getaway this year. Very spacious. Well-appointed. And most importantly, just a few steps on the path to the beach! Lovely balcony. The resort is so well maintained, friendly staff everywhere, and feels very safe and secure. Will rent again!

Nice, quiet location

We especially liked the location of our building (Atlantic 1). Our end unit with a view of the beach was great. Very quiet, which was surprising given the number of cars in the parking areas. Access to the beach was close. The condo had everything we needed and then some; beach chairs, a kitchen full of cooking essentials, many extra blankets and towels. We were very comfortable and would recommend this rental for families looking for a quiet, relaxed getaway.

Great condo - great location

The condo was well-equipped for anything you might want to do. The property has a pool, tennis courts, bike racks, a great beach access path and rinse-off station. We could see a bit of the ocean from our deck, and it was only a short walk away. The beds were comfy, although could have used sheets with a higher thread count. There was plenty of space for 4 adults. The kitchen was well-equipped and a full size washer and dryer were most helpful. The owner provided some laundry pods and dishwasher tabs. Nice. We would definitely rent again.

Great condo!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful week staying at Island Club. The unit is very well furnished with new kitchen appliances and a very nice washer and dryer. The toaster should be replaced. The slot on the left side always burns the waffles and toast. I believe the heating element is broken. It would be nice to have a few hangers in the closets as well. Other than those 2 minor things, the condo is very nice and comfortable. Short walk to the beach and pools. We used the gym a few times. I would stay here again.

Had a great time.

Unit was clean and very nice. Furniture and master bed were comfortable but our guests said the double bed mattress dipped to the center. The kitchen had everything we needed except a 9 x 13 cake pan but we bought an aluminum pan so it was not a problem. When we checked in, we reported that the screen on the sliding door was out of the track and the next day a very nice man came and fixed it. The balcony doesn't have a beach/ocean view but was still nice to sit and talk. Two coffee pots, one for ground coffee to make a pot and one for coffee k-cups for single cups. Ocean was much warmer than expected. Pool is fantastic. All in all a wonderful time.

Great location and space some pre clean needed

The space was excellent! We were in town for a wedding. My husband and I stayed in the condo and we had guests in for dinner one night. The space was perfect for our group. When we arrived, one of the toilets was not flushing properly We reported the problem. We did not hear back from anyone in the evening we checked in. Because the toilet had already been used, I really needed the problem to be addressed quickly. My husband was able to fix it. On arrival, the place needed some cleaning. I washed the floors and, some dishes and utensils that were put away dirty. The master bedroom comforter and sheets did not smell fresh. I changed out the beds before using them. My feedback is this: overall a great place to stay. The space was perfect and the amenities very good with close proximity to the ocean. I would book here again for sure! However, the housekeeping inspection should be better. I did a good amount of cleaning of the kitchen and bathrooms and changed out the bed, before I would feel comfortable.

The community was nice and in relatively good proximity to shopping, dining, etc. The unit was acceptable, however, we rarely had internet/WiFi which was very challenging when trying to work remotely, watch television, etc. This issue was reported to the property manager but was never resolved. The glass shower door in the guest bathroom was broken and also reported to the property manager but it was never repaired. The ceiling fan in the secondary bedroom was also broken, reported to the property manager, but never repaired. One of the drop ceiling tiles in the kitchen was hanging down. It, too, was reported to the property manager but was never repaired. Seems that, in addition to the issues in the condo, the property manager/property management company was one of the biggest problems. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
