The Space:

Experience spectacular unobstructed ocean views, morning sunrises, and beautiful beach views from the moment you enter the front door, all the way through the living room to the top floor balcony. Enjoy luxury vinyl flooring throughout, as well as professionally curate coastal dƩcor, new bedding, plantation shutters, and solid doors for added privacy. All-new smart TVs allow you to access your streaming services as well as a broad spectrum of channels provided by free cable and internet services.



The recently renovated kitchen includes custom cabinetry, a quartzite countertop, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, and a full-size washer/dryer. Undercabinet lighting highlights the stunning blue-tiled wall backsplash. The extended quartzite breakfast bar countertop provides seating for three and the glass-top dining table offers six additional seats. The expansive and wide view through the kitchen opens to the living room where guests will be drawn to the sliding glass door that opens to the large oceanfront balcony. The living room features a 55-inch TV with a DVD player and sound bar, two sofas, two chairs, and a coffee table containing a bench seat that pulls out for extra seating.



The main bedroom has king bedding, a shiplap wall, a large dresser, a beadboard entry, and a smart TV. The glass view door from the main bedroom opens to the private oceanfront balcony. The main bathroom has serenely colored granite countertop vanity with double sinks, custom cabinetry, a glass-enclosed walk-in tiled shower featuring a waterfall accent from the top of the shower to the floor, and rainfall shower head with detachable shower wand, all giving you the feel of being in your own spa-inspired bathroom.



The guest bedroom has two queen beds, lighting above each bed, large dresser, shiplap wall, a beadboard entry, and a smart TV. The guest bathroom tub and shower combination sparkles with a beautiful blue Terrazzo vanity countertop, white wave-inspired shower wall tile with blue tile wall accents, and a rainfall shower head with a detachable shower wand.

The lap pool, kiddie pool, and tanning shelf will close on the evening of October 29, 2023, and re-plaster work begins on October 30. The hot tub will close on the evening of November 24. (Due to the re-plaster work, there may be times when the hot tub is not available.) All pools are scheduled to re-open on March 2, 2024 (date subject to change due to construction).



The heaters for both the lap and kiddie pools will stay on during the spring until the weather changes. The heaters will be turned back on in the fall, depending on the weather.

The property had everything we needed, even though the WiFi was spotty at best. Kitchen is beautiful. Washer/dryer were lifesavers. Condo was roomy, well-equipped and very clean. It was a great week!

LOVED unit 5503 at Island Club in Hilton Head

Wow! Loved the view of the ocean out back from the balcony, living room and master bedroom. And the short, easy walk to get out there. Really loved the inside of the condo too ā€” bright, roomy, comfortably furnished and clean. Enjoyed the location too ā€” nice area and very easy to get to other areas by car. And lastly, big kudos to Jacque/Vacasa for all their communications and customer service. We hope to be back next year, although maybe a little later in April.

We liked everything from check-in to check-out. The attention to detail was great. The cleaning was very good. We(two couples) were very happy with everything. The only thing that might be an issue was the size of the pool. As we compared it to others that we stay at. The hot tube great ,good size. This our first time renting with Vacasa and we are very happy with the outcome.

VACASA Really Let Us Down

We've been booking through VACASA for decades. We have never been disappointed until this trip. After a hectic 6 hour drive, we arrived to find that the elevator to the 5th floor was under previously scheduled repair and would remain so for weeks to come. We should have been notified of this, as my husband and I are both disabled. I have a brain tumor that causes mobility and visual impairments, and my husband has congestive heart failure, making it very difficult to breathe. Many times we managed to get up and down the stairs with help from some very kind strangers. Other times we struggled through on our own with several falls to show for it. Since the repair to the elevator was a planned repair, we should have been notified in advance of our trip so that we could reschedule. There's no excuse for assuming that all guests can handle climbing stairs. Disabilities and special needs should have been taken into account. Additionally, the unit itself was not fully prepared for new guests. There was no handsoap in the kitchen or bathrooms, and the shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the master bath were only a quarter full. There were no trash bags. Of course, we purchased our own, but this was a let down, given the long day we'd already had. Speaking of which, you can imagine how difficult it was for any 5th floor guest to get groceries up and down the stairs. In fact, several glass jars broke through our grocery bags and shattered everywhere when we were climbing the stairs. I tried to call the on-site VACASA rep over and over to make sure someone cleaned it up before another guest got injured but no one ever answered the phone. Finally, I reached a gentleman at the front gate who made sure the glass was cleaned up. There was water up under the kitchen sink, the source of which was an old dirty sponge, so heavy with water it leaked everywhere. The closet floor with beach chairs and the broom was filled with sand. And the WiFi was basically non-existent. We were so miserable during this trip, we know we will not return to the Island Club, nor will we book through VACASA again. That's sad after decades of loyalty.

Very Nice Condo - Great Location - Fully Appointed

Beautiful Condo with a fantastic ocean view. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you would need and it was all in good shape ā€”coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, nonstick cookware that was not beat up like Iā€™ve found in other rentals. In the opinion of all 4 adults staying here, the beds were too hard (obviously that is personal preference). It would be nice if the patio furniture were updated with bar-height table and chairs so that you could sit on the balcony and not have the railing obscure your ocean view. We were there the week of Hurricane Ian. While I understand the need for VACASA management to remove the patio furniture from the porch due to the storm, I was surprised there was no place to store it other than the condoā€™s living room. Had we decided to stay, we would have had to navigate around a living room full of patio furniture.

Best View!

We loved everything about our stay! The view is the BEST part! The condo is beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated. The appliances are also very new! The cupboards were stocked with anything/everything we could want or need for cooking during our stay. The small closet when you walked in even had extra beach accessories! We didnā€™t use them because we brought our own, but it was so nice knowing if we needed something we had it! I also loved access to the small vacuum and other cleaning supplies. It helped us stay clean and organized during our stay.

Paradise

We have been coming to HHI for a girlsā€™ week for many years. Island Club has been our choice for several trips. We have stayed at many of the 3/3 and 2/2 units in Neptune and Atlantic buildings. #5503 is by far the best! Donā€™t miss this one!!! Renovations are to die for!!! Loved it, and weā€™ll be back!

Excellent Condo

We absolutely loved our stay, so much that we extended it an extra night because we didn't want to leave! Condo was clean and very comfortable. We made most of our meals in the condo with ease, and were able to grill using the ones provided. We were also able to rent bikes right at the Island Club, which was very convenient! We will definitely be coming back next year.

The Best Place to Stay at HHI

This is our second time staying at Island Club 5503 and we adore this home!!! Nothing quite like waking up to sunrises on the balcony, enjoying the beach and pool, and kicking back to a beautiful sunset at the end of the day! Great Condo! Bad rental agency.

The condo is beautiful and has great updates. We have stayed in this condo many times. Vacasa gave us bad information. We unfortunately had to come a day late. I called Vacasa twice and each time I was told I would get an email the day before on how to get into the condo. I also tried to get the local Hilton Head phone number to no avail. We did get an email with a lock box number that would give us the packet to enter the condo. However the packet had no keys or way to get into the condo. The office at Island Club had a number to call which led to a second and third one to call. I finally reached someone that was on the grounds. She said she would meet us at the office which she did. It turned out the office lock box number was actually the key pad number for the condo door. Why wasnā€™t that told to us? When we stayed in the same condo one year ago the condo had keys not a key pad. I am disgusted with Vacasa. And we have a 9 bedroom house rented from Vacasa next summer! Hopefully a better experience.

Beautiful condo with an amazing view

Place was great. It was stocked with everything you can possibly need or imagine. Had two different kinds of coffee makes, three wine bottle openers, more dishes than my kitchen - you get the gist. Everything was immaculate. View was breathtaking. I couldnā€™t get enough of it. Beach was a 3 mins walk, same for the pool. Great vacation. Will most definitely return
