Very nice condo just a quick walk across the street to the public access to the beach and so close to Coligny. My daughters and I planned a last minute trip to HHI and it did not disappoint. Mary was prompt with concerns and gave us tons of info and was very kind. Definitely will be back. We love HHI.

The location was central to everything that we wanted to do, the beach was a block away, we were very close to shops and restaurants, it was at the center of everything. The condo itself was very nice, and the community pool was very popular for my kids. We definitely plan on staying there again.

Pontos positivos: Check-in e comunicação
The ac was not working well. It was 77/78 while we were there. We live in the south, so we understand sometimes it is not as efficient. We had to sleep in the recliner and on the couch downstairs since it was too hot upstairs. The shower was disgusting and had a lot of mold. We ended up leaving a day early.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the home did not provide the comfortable stay you expected. We understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with the upstairs temperature being uncomfortable enough that you had to sleep downstairs, especially during your vacation. We’re also very sorry about the condition of the shower and the mold you encountered. Cleanliness and a properly functioning HVAC system are important, and we take these concerns seriously. We’ll be sharing your feedback with our maintenance and housekeeping teams for review and follow-up. We regret that these issues ultimately led you to leave a day early and appreciate you bringing them to our attention.

Once I booked the stay I couldn’t go back and see the details of the unit to be able to plan accordingly. My reservation was stuck between 2 companies so didn’t get check-in details 4:00 after having to call multiple numbers and be bounced back and forth between the companies. The system notification ended up coming in around 6:00 - 2 hours past check-in. The unit was nice but outdated - furniture not well maintained and lighting in bedroom was just a small lamp. Location is convenient to beach and shops.

Pontos positivos: Check-in, comunicação e localização
Pontos negativos: Limpeza
Our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by the extremely poor cleanliness of the property. The blankets had a strong unpleasant odor, and there were urine stains on two of the mattresses as well as on cushions throughout multiple rooms. Two of the beds were completely unusable because of the condition of the mattresses. The kitchen utensils and cookware all needed to be washed before we could use them, and the floors were so sticky that we had to mop them ourselves upon arrival. We also discovered that the washing machine was unusable due to mold and mildew buildup. To their credit, the property’s cleaning crew came to address the issue, but it should have been identified and resolved before guests arrived. We ended up purchasing our own pillows and mattress covers just to make the property comfortable enough to stay in.The location was convenient and was the one positive aspect of the stay. However, the overall condition of the property fell far below an acceptable standard. Deep cleaning should be an integral part of the property’s regular maintenance routine, as many of the issues we encountered were not minor oversights but signs of a lack of thorough cleaning and upkeep.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize that the cleanliness and condition of the property fell short of expectations. The issues you described with the bedding, mattresses, cushions, kitchen items, floors, and washing machine are concerning and not the experience we want our guests to have. We appreciate you acknowledging that our cleaning team came out to address the concerns, and we’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the appropriate team for further review and follow-up. We’re also sorry that you had to purchase additional items to make the property comfortable during your stay. We’re glad the location was convenient, but we understand that this did not make up for the condition of the property. Thank you again for bringing these concerns to our attention.

Beautiful

We loved the area. It was super quiet. Not crowded. All places were close to pool. Not far from beach. Beautiful trees in our backyard. Close to Coligny plaza and things to do if we wanted. Home had beach toys, wagon in front for us. Which was nice. Would stay again.

Perfect Location for a family of 4

Old school charm with a great location near Coligny Plaza and easy beach access. I loved that the pool area was enclosed by the cabana patios and not accessible without access to one of the cabanas. I could sit on our patio and watch my children at the pool. The property was well maintained.

Had everything we needed

We felt very welcomed in this home. They provided us with most everything we needed and extras we didn’t expect-beach wagon, chairs, and toys. Plenty of kitchen dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. We were very comfortable and had a great time. Loved it was an easy walk to the beach.

Hilton Head Cababas

We loved the location of this Cabana! It is very near to the beach and to Caligny! It was perfect for taking a daily walk in any direction! Our parking space was right outside the door and there was easy access areas for our guests to park! We love the openness and comfort of this condo. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and all the flowers, birds and squirrels that entertained us daily! We wanted to get this condo for next winter but we were too late inquiring!

Clean, comfortable stay

The condos are older, but updated and clean. Found fans in closet upstairs that helped cool those rooms. It was a bit hotter upstairs, but we stayed during July and the rooms cooled down by evening. Plenty of living room seating. My kids liked using the Alexa to check weather, tides, and play music. Bored games and beach wagon were available for use. The condos are in a square, with this condo being at the back line of square in comparison to beach. Corner unit was nice. Parking right in front of unit. Pool area is only accessible through condos. Beach is across the road. Wagons are way to much work to push through that much sand! Get some backpack chairs and a bag and go. Kitchen had Keurig coffee maker and plenty of cookware. Used outside grill once. One issue we had while there was addresses quickly.
