A few practical points before you book:

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is fully inspected, certified, and officially registered with the Icelandic authorities (Registration No. [Rek-2026-024863]), meeting all national standards for fire safety, health, and hygiene

· Hot tub & sauna – Please follow the instructions in the house manual for heating, using and closing the spa area. It keeps the water clean and the system working properly for everyone.

· Children & safety – Children must be supervised around the hot tub, sauna and terrace at all times.

· Noise & neighbours – This is a quiet countryside area, not a party spot. Keep outdoor noise reasonable at night so everyone in the area can sleep.

· No smoking indoors – Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the lodge.

· Weather & roads – Icelandic weather turns quickly, especially in winter. Always check the forecast and road conditions before driving out for the day.
