Small soccer field with goals if you want to play, and several golf courses in close range. Located in the heart of 'the Golden Circle', the famous sightseeing route.

Property was excellent. Great location. Sauna and hot tub very nice. A little more detail on the homes location for ck in would be good like "first right after the trash dumpsters and first home on left up the hill with the little soccer field".

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was exactly as it was in the photos and descriptions. It was very easy to find, and easy to get to. We had a shorter stay, and it was a great location for us to access our other activities. The house was very clean and perfectly prepared for our arrival. The porch, hot tub and sauna outside were wonderful to utilize. As a group of seven, the house was a great size. Additionally, one of us had to do some work during the stay and the wifi had no issues. There were minimal departure requests as well, basic clean up that we would have done anyway. We would (and hopefully will be) staying here again. Thank you for a fantastic long weekend!

This house was the perfect spot for an Iceland trip. It is well-positioned in the Golden Circle but only about 15 minutes away from Selfoss and HveragerĆ°i. There are beautiful views from the house. The sauna and hot tub (pool) were a bonus.

Great Location, Great Stay

I stayed here with my wife and adult children for part of our Iceland vacation. House was in great location for visits to the Golden Circle and we all enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were easy, amenities were as described and communication from host was prompt. We would differently stay again if we visit in the future.

Fantastic Family House

Very nice place to stay and relax after a day trip. Plenty of room good showers and a hot tub sauna and steam bath. Very clean when we arrived. Good cooking facilities. We had a small issue with the hot water system that was solved quickly after consulting the owner.

It is critical to review the email that the host sends the night prior to type in the actual coordinates of how to get there. If you do not have the coordinates, it leads you to a different spot.Once there, the house was well laid out and the hot tub and sauna were really nice.Make sure you bring your own coffee and I would recommend bringing a Bluetooth speaker because they donā€™t have those available.

Perfect home - in particular we loved the sauna, hot tub, steam room. Location perfect for all the attractions on the Golden Circle. Wonderful friendly people. Do try the food halls, perfect for kids who do not want to eat what dad and mum want! We will be backā€¦.

Rural Selfoss

Our family of 11 had a perfect stay in this quiet, rural area close to Selfoss. The setting, location, and facilities fit our every need. We stayed for five days and were able to drive the Golden Circle, visit the South Coast and Vik. The kitchen is spacious for 3-4 chefs and well furnished. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. What a treat to relax at the end of each day. Thank you to our hosts Thorsteinn and Bjargey.

This truly is a ā€œluxury modern home.ā€ It has all the amenities in a clean, comfortable, stylish home set on a hillside with beautiful views.This house is the place to stay! The hosts are incredible! We had a complication due to a flight cancellation and they were so accommodating. They were kind, understanding, and quick to respond and help us find a solution. They saved us from being homelessness for a night! Really grateful!

We built this house 2008. Grund is located in the heart of the popular Golden Circle. Close to Reykjavik, the capital and very short to get service at Selfoss and Hveragerdi. A lot of things to see and do in the neighborhood but also an excellent place to do just nothing but relax and enjoy the nature.
