Accommodation description:
In this modern furnished houseboat, you will enjoy a wonderful stay on and near the water. Sleeping under the waterline is special. Many pleasant hours are often spent on the large terrace. You can also hire a BBQ at reception for a warm summer evening by the water! All in all, a unique property for a cosy stay!

The ark is situated in a park with a marina right on the Uitgeestermeer and about 20 minutes' drive from the beaches of Castricum and Egmond. In the harbour, you will find several catering establishments, bike and boat hire and even a local brewery. Bring your own boat or rent a sloop to discover the surroundings. In the direct surroundings, you will find an outdoor swimming pool, the Hilde House about archaeology of the area, various forts and mills and the cosy centre of Uitgeest, which is also worth a visit. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. Uitgeest is also located between the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. So plenty of opportunities for a wonderful stay with day trips!

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
For reasons of tranquillity, reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted
Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home
