This home can accommodate up to 11 people.

This quaint manufactured home set on a permanent foundation has three bedrooms featuring private king room, a private queen room, and a room with a twin over a full and twin over twin bunk beds, plus a side office off the master bedroom with a comfy queen sofa bed, guests have plenty of space to relax. The three bathrooms include a jetted bathtub or a separate shower in the master bath and a shower/bathtub combo in the main bathroom, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. There is also a half bath for convenience. The kitchen is spacious, ideal for hosting your family holiday with lots of counter space to spread out. There is a lovely living area with a tv and a cozy fireplace area. Heating and AC keep the home comfortable year-round. There is a front deck for sunrises and a back covered deck for sunsets. The back covered deck promotes relaxation with outstanding views of the hills and lake! The attached garage offers ping pong, foosball, corn hole and a basketball game, great for kids or competitive adults. Whether you’re gathering in the living room or enjoying some quiet time, this terrific spot offers a fantastic home base.

Basically we have tried to make it a home away from our home. We have provided basic kitchen items: dishes, silverware, pots and pans and cooking utensils, cookie sheets, pizza pan, a crock pot, a toaster, and a 2 basket air fryer.

There is a regular coffee pot with filters or a Keurig. So just bring k-cups or ground coffee and you will be ready to start your day.

There is a refrigerator, electric stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is also a grill in the garage. There is a garage refrigerator for drinks and to hold ice.

The garage is a multipurpose room with games and furniture for visiting or just another place to hang out. This property’s garage also offers the most amazing lake overlook in the Black Hills! Enjoy the views while you grill your supper. A grill is conveniently located in the garage. Please be safe while using it.

Convenient Location:  
The home is located near the “Long’s Area” on the conveniently-accessed east side of Angostura Lake.  It's 2.9 miles off Highway 79, heading south from Angostura Den.  Don't want to cook, no problem! You can walk up to Pirate’s Pub 0.2 miles slightly up hill. Forget something check at the Coffee Cup Travel Plaza before heading into Hot Springs.

This home is 1.2 miles from Long’s boat ramps and 2.9 miles from Hwy 79.  The home is a short 15 minute drive into Hot Springs which is known for many great places. The property is approximately a 30 minute drive to Custer State Park, with Mount Rushmore not far from there. Your family will love seeing the Black Hills from this wonderful location!

Guest Access:
Guests will have full and exclusive access to the entire house. There is ample outdoor parking on the front 2 acre site for your boat and vehicles.

Angostura Reservoir is a water-lover's haven with breathtaking, scenic views. Offering crystal clear waters, 36 miles of shoreline, and some of the finest sandy beaches in the state, the area boasts many water sports and summer fun activities - camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. Its strong fishery is well known for its walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie, and also supports northern pike, largemouth bass, perch and bluegill.

The word "Angostura" is Spanish for "narrows."  Angostura is one of the few large reservoirs in western South Dakota. The dam was built in 1949 by the Bureau of Reclamation across the Cheyenne River for irrigation purposes. The average depth of this reservoir is 29 feet and the deepest portion of the pool is 75 feet deep when full. The lake's average summer temperature is 66 degrees F.

Cascade Falls - Our favorite swimming hole in the Black Hills!!     Waterfall Area  Wading area. Clear water!  Moderate jumping of rocks etc.   Great for any age.  Stairs to get down to area.

Moccasin Springs - 13 Miles to wonderful and timeless spa/hot springs.  People love this place and travel a long ways to enjoy it. It is a world class natural springs spa/yoga retreat and grill.

Hot Springs Golf Course: Considered by many to be the top golf course in the Black Hills. Rated as a top 50 in the nation by Golf Magazine.

River Walk in Hot Springs - You'll enjoy just walking along the river and checking out the shops, grabbing some ice cream or a movie. 

Famous Evan's Plunge Indoor Hot Springs Swimming Pool :  13 miles "Healing waters" considered by many due to special mineral content; water refreshes several times per day naturally (Naturally heated and non-chlorinated spring-fed pool with slides etc).

Historic Sandstone Buildings and Walking Trails; Waterfall(s).

Unique Local Restaurants  as well as the staples of Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Taco John's etc.   Great restaurants on Main St.  We are still learning about all the local great places to eat.  

Lynn's Dakotamart (12 mi.) and Sonny Superfoods (11 mi.) will provide all your grocery stores needs. There is a Dollar General or a Family Dollar. The Ace Hardware store has loads of cute gifts for all ages.

Short Drive to Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore (59 mi.) and Other Black Hills Attractions!!

Getting Around:
Ample outdoor parking for guests. The property is located on the east side of the lake, with easier and much closer access compared to other sides of the lake.

DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 79 South past Maverick Junction intersection, where there is the Coffee Cup Travel Plaza (7 mi.), a gas station/Subway, Pizza Hut or Cinnabon/Hwy 79. Keep going straight south and turn right at Angostura Den (bar on your right). This straight-south road is called Angostura Rd. As descending the hill toward the lake, turn right (west) on Waterview Rd. Waterview Overlook is the 3rd driveway on the left. 13383 Waterview Rd.

Quick reference points: Property to Rapid City - 62 miles.. on Highway 79, which used to be the old Deadwood - Sydney NE Stagecoach Line BTW. Rapid City, SD (57 mi.) or Chadron, NE (42 mi.) is your last chance for a Walmart.

Other Things To Note:
The Lake is at the base of the Black Hills.   It is considered by most Black Hills residents to be the number one lake in terms of: large beaches (including beach volleyball and a new beach grill/restaurant called Inferno), warmest water, new 5-mile bike bath and fun lake recreational opportunities.

The long sandy beaches, docks and waterfront are very close by. You'll enjoy experiencing the clean air, multiple beaches, views of the lake and the beautiful Black Hills! Walleye fishing is a favorite at this lake!! As is the famous Southern Hills 18 Hole Golf Course, Mammoth Site, Cascade Springs (swimming hole/waterfall) and great restaurants in Hot Springs.
