The Space:

Blue By You is the perfect vacation home for those who love the beauty of the beach and the convenience of the canal/bay access. It is a treasure that will call you back year after year. Take 200 steps from the front door to the Chub Road Beach Access. Your beach home features a spacious screened patio overlooking the private, solar-heated pool and the canal leading to the bay. Enjoy easy access to the canal for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Bring your own equipment or rent locally and have it delivered. Blue By You is the perfect place to enjoy a long and relaxing vacation with friends and family. The first floor is a great fit for multi-generational gatherings featuring a primary suite with a spacious ensuite, complete with a newly remodeled, gorgeous walk-in shower. The second bedroom is across from a hall bathroom and laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. A media library of books, movies, and games will keep everyone entertained after a fun day of sun, sand, and surfing. There are no stairs to navigate on the ground floor. A beautifully designed, well-equipped kitchen and dining area has two large islands featuring quartz countertops that seat guests. The kitchen flows into a family room with plenty of seating. Open the sliding door to gain access to a screened porch furnished with tables, a cushioned sectional, a mini-fridge, and a tropical bar. The large screened porch/sunroom provides refuge from the sun and a bug-free space to dine, play games, and gather to enjoy your family's company. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of free WiFi, eight LED TVs, and lots of games such as foosball, air hockey, a basketball hoop, and cornhole. On the second floor, you’ll find a primary suite, another bedroom, a bunk bedroom, and yet another bedroom with several beds and a trundle. The upstairs den has a TV and sleeper sofa. The second floor gives access to a multi-level deck to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that only Sandbridge has to offer. Blue By You provides plenty of space and privacy for you to enjoy your vacation with the people you love. THINGS TO KNOW The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October.

Great place for a family vacay

Close to the beach. Also with a pool. Access to Back Bay. Plenty of room to play together but also places to chill out by yourself if you need to.

Love that pool and screened porch!

This beach house was a great site for a fmaily vacation. We spent most of the time outside in the huge screened porch, in the pool and its lovely surrounding patio, or at the beach. The kitchen was large and well equipped. It is a short walk from the beautiful Sandbridge beach.

Great beach house in great location

Blue By You was a great vacation beach house. Location was a very short, easy walk to the beach. House had everything we needed and more for 4 adults and 2 kids. Pool was amazing (big and warm)! It was used a lot! Amenities were many and the house was comfortable and roomy. The screened in porch was great in the evenings for board games. Overall, a great house that I would stay at again and would recommend to family and friends.

My stay was great. The host was extremely awesome and quick to respond. We have 1 hiccup. They came out fixed the issue. And they even brought back a basketball for the kids to play with

Plenty of space, needs a new staircase

There was plenty of space for people to stay. The bathrooms are in strange places. There isn't a true dining room table. The staircase inside needs to be rebuilt. The stairs are too narrow and I felt I would fall down them when going downstairs. For the money, it was acceptable. Pool was already closed when all the other neighbors were still open.

Sandbridge vscation

We loved the house. We did not love getting conflicting emails about checking in. One email telling us the access code would have been sufficient. Instead we received multiple emails telling us to check in at the office. Also maybe give more than one day's notice. We did not receive instructions about notifying the office we had checked out until late in the day. Otherwise we enjoyed working with vacasa.

Perfect house for our family

We were in VA beach for a cousins reunion. Our group ranged from age 24 to age 80 and this was the perfect house for us. This house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and the main living area on the first floor which was great for those that can't climb stairs. The screened in patio was so nice as was the pool area. It was a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and ice cream (Ben and Jerrys is just down the road!) I believe we were 15 -20 miles from the VA beach Boardwalk, but it is a quick, easy drive. We would suggest that property management consider at least 2 towels and wash cloths per person rather than 1. We did have to do laundry often. We would definitely return to Blue By You! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home!

Fanastic Find

Blue by You is the perfect home for our multi-generational family. We really enjoyed the sunroom/screened-in porch, which allowed us to enjoy lots of fun family time as well as view the pool & canal, while keeping an eye on the kids as they played. The beautifully updated kitchen was well-stocked with all the supplies we needed, with enough space for everyone to enjoy our meals together. Grandparents found the downstairs primary suite to be convenient & very comfortable. They didn't need to climb any stairs if they didn't wish to do so. Our kids enjoyed the 2nd floor family room where they played video games & watched TV in the evenings. We've stayed in this home several times & look forward each year to seeing the positive changes/additions they've surprised us with before. Will definitely return!

Family Vacation

Plenty of space for me and 11 other family members and the children loved the pool. The only 2 things I didn’t like were because check in is so late and check out is so early you really don’t get a full 7 days. Also our housekeeper at the end showed up banging on the door at 9am and check out was at 10! Being as though there were so many of us we ran a little over and she seemed to have an attitude! Wanted to park her car in the driveway and there was barely any room. She could have started on the upstairs because everyone was up we were just cleaning the kitchen and packing up our food but she chose to sit in her car and pout. No one asked her to show up an hour early and make us feel rushed! When I asked her why she was early she stated “Oh I like to start early” but we were told 10 am. Otherwise the place was fine but not sure if I will come back. Definitely going to find a place with more flexible times for larger parties with infants and children.

Beach Breeze

.Here's my review... This place was all about location & the location was perfect. A 5 minute walk to the beach but just secluded enough to not be bother with the beach hustle & bustle. The kitchen area was great with enough pots, pans, and island space to prep, cook, & eat. Most of the family had no problem finding a place to eat or sit. The following maybe worth mentioning in the description of the property: • Steps leading up to the second level spaces are narrow & steep. Individuals with balance issues may have a hard time navigating the steps. • The largest bathroom is an ensuite for the queen bedroom downstairs not the king suite, which is located upstairs. • Shower stalls located on the upper level are small. It may take some collaboration with housemates to use larger bathrooms downstairs if you're claustrophobic. • Use caution when navigating back to house after dusk as the landscape out front hides the house well while approaching which may result in you passing it or stopping short with someone behind you. • Consider Wifi boosters. Very pleased with smart capabilities but noticed a considerable lag with house devices and personal devices being connected all at once.
