Welcome to Cub’s Den, a peaceful lakefront retreat on Beach Drive in Radford. Enjoy beautiful water views, private dock access for swimming, a small ramp, and two cleats for tying up a boat. Relax on the back deck, use the propane grill, or unwind in the cozy living room with Samsung Smart TV. The home offers 3 queen bedrooms, Starlink Wifi, a full kitchen with drip coffee, Keurig, and tea kettle, plus beach towels, life jackets, noodles, and floats for lake days.

We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the front door entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay.

Cub’s Den is located on Beach Drive in Radford, VA, offering a convenient lake-area stay near local attractions. The home is close to Claytor Lake and about a 10-mile drive from Claytor Lake State Park. It is also within driving distance of Radford University and Virginia Tech, making it a great option for lake trips, university visits, and local events. Radford University is located in Radford, while Virginia Tech is in nearby Blacksburg, about 14 miles from Radford

-Do not use fire pit during burn ban months, do not leave fire pit unattended.
-Indoor fireplace is not functional, please do not try to use.
-Guests do not have access to one of the rooms that will be locked for owners storage, as well as no access to shed/building that is located at the lake.

Parking:
Guests can park anywhere on gravel round about driveway. Please do not park on grass on sides of home.

From Owens Road, take a left onto Beach Drive, continue on beach drive, veering right, the property will be on your left, with
a gravel driveway.

No pets allowed.
The home is located on a quiet street, so please keep noise levels low and be courteous of neighbors.
Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM.
Parties are not allowed.
Do not run the air conditioning with doors open.
Please lock all windows and doors at checkout.
There is a fire pit with chairs.
Starlink Wifi is available.
TV is powered by Samsung Smart TV.
Coffee makers provided: regular drip coffee maker and Keurig.
Tea kettle is provided.
Beach towels are provided.
Propane grill is available.
Life jackets, noodles, and floats are available for guest use and are located in the bench storage bin in front of the back deck.
Guests have dock access for swimming and jumping off, as well as access to the small ramp.
There are 2 cleats on the dock for tying up a boat.
Trash bins are located on the side of the home.
Please strap down the trash can lids and place only bagged trash inside the bins.
Trash pickup is on Wednesday. If your stay falls on this day, you may roll the cans out to the road for pickup.
Please stack Adirondack chairs under the deck after use due to wind.
Please take down the back deck umbrella after use due to wind.
Wet life jackets and towels should be hung on the clothesline under the back deck.
Do not use the fire pit during burn ban notices.
Never leave the fire pit unattended.
Indoor fireplace is not functional.
Guests do not have access to the locked owner storage room.
Guests do not have access to the shed/building located at the lake.

-To allow us the opportunity to assist promptly, we kindly ask that any issues or concerns at the property be reported during your stay whenever possible. Issues reported after check-out may not be entertained.

-Please note that during the summer months, non-venomous black snakes may occasionally be present around the property due to the natural environment. While they are generally harmless, we would like to make you aware for your comfort and safety.

Lost Item Return Policy: If you leave an item behind and would like us to ship it back to you, a return fee will apply to cover the handling and shipping process. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have left an item at the property.
