We stayed here for our wedding week in Black Butte. Thankfully our wedding was incredible, but the house was a disappointment.The listing photos make the home appear much larger than it is, especially the upstairs bedroom. We were also surprised that the primary bedroom entrance is through the bunk room, something that wasn’t clearly conveyed in the listing. The primary bathroom door barely closes and is extremely loud, the fan switch makes an alarming mechanical noise, and there is no shower in the primary bath.The new hot tub is a great addition, but we were without it for nearly half our stay while it was being installed, and contractors were at the house for several hours one day.Cleanliness also missed the mark. We found stained pillows and a stained mattress pad in the downstairs bedroom, and the refrigerator still contained numerous half-used condiments from previous guests. There was also no dish soap, and despite notifying the owners early in our stay, we had to buy our own.The location is excellent, but the home needs more accurate photos, better maintenance, improved cleaning, and better guest preparation. It has potential, but based on our experience, it did not live up to either the listing or the previous reviews.
