Tucked behind our lovingly restored 1892 Victorian in one of Healdsburg's most cherished historic neighborhoods, this private guest house was thoughtfully designed for travelers who appreciate beautiful spaces, genuine hospitality, and memorable experiences.

Although the Carriage House sits on our property, it is completely private with its own entrance, tucked away at the end of the driveway among mature trees and gardens. You'll enjoy privacy while knowing we're nearby should you need recommendations or assistance.

Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, abundant skylights, a rooftop cupola, wide-plank white oak floors reclaimed from a century-old Kentucky barn, and graceful arched windows create an airy retreat that feels both spacious and welcoming.

Enjoy your favorite playlists through built-in ceiling speakers in both the living room and bedroom—the perfect soundtrack for slow mornings, wine before dinner, or a relaxing evening in.

Central heating and air conditioning keep the Carriage House comfortable year-round, whether you're escaping a warm summer afternoon or enjoying a cozy winter getaway.

For guests mixing a little work with pleasure, a vintage steel worktable provides a peaceful workspace with high-speed fiber internet.

We've stocked the Carriage House with many of the little things travelers often forget—from a steamer and iron to quality toiletries, extra pillows, a sound machine, and a hair dryer—because it's often the smallest details that make a stay memorable.

The bedroom was designed with one goal in mind: helping you sleep exceptionally well. The Stearns & Foster king bed is dressed in crisp hotel-quality linens beneath vaulted ceilings and skylights that fill the room with soft morning light (the skylights have blackout shades if you'd rather sleep in). An arched window frames peaceful garden views while a second Roku television makes for cozy evenings.

The adjoining spa-inspired bath features a generous walk-in rainfall shower, plush towels, Native toiletries, and plenty of storage for longer stays.

One of our favorite places on the property is the garden. Surrounded by mature trees, seasonal flowers, and the gentle sound of the fountain, it's a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy wine country at its own pace.

Whether you're savoring your morning coffee, curling up with a good book beneath the trees, or relaxing around the Adirondack chairs and gas firepit with a glass of wine after dinner, many guests tell us the garden becomes their favorite part of the property.

We've called Healdsburg home for nearly three decades and have spent the past 28 years lovingly restoring our Victorian property and designing the Carriage House, completed in 2011.

As longtime locals, one of our greatest joys is helping guests discover the places we return to ourselves—from neighborhood cafés and scenic hikes to hidden wineries, favorite restaurants, and unforgettable experiences. Through our partnership with Lambert Bridge Winery, you'll enjoy a complimentary Winemaker's Selection Tasting for Two—a $75-per-person experience at one of Sonoma County's most respected family-owned wineries.

This partnership is especially meaningful to us because our design studio, Pembroke Studios, created Lambert Bridge's wine labels, giving guests a unique behind-the-scenes connection to one of our favorite local wineries.

It's one more way we hope you'll experience Healdsburg the way locals do.

When we're traveling (which happens only occasionally), trusted local managers and our nearby support team ensure every guest receives the same level of care and attention. Check-in remains simple with keypad entry, and we're always available through VRBO messaging or by phone.

We are fully permitted and licensed with the City of Healdsburg, so you can book with confidence.

Healdsburg Tax - 16% of your stay (already included in the price) is collected by the City of Healdsburg as a transient occupancy tax (TOT). As locals who love our hometown, we’re glad to see these funds support community projects that benefit residents and visitors. We hope you’ll feel good knowing your stay also contributes to keeping Healdsburg such a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. The cleaning fee is $160 (also included in the price).

Please be aware we have a Exemption to not host guests with Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals because we have a family member who has a severe allergy.

You're just a five-minute stroll from the Healdsburg Plaza, where you'll discover award-winning restaurants, boutique shopping, tasting rooms, cafés, galleries, and one of California's best Saturday Farmers Markets.

CHARLES M. SCHULZ–SONOMA COUNTY AIRPORT (STS)
One of Healdsburg's best-kept secrets is Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport (STS), located just 15 minutes from the Carriage House. Small, uncrowded, and remarkably easy to navigate, it's one of our favorite airports anywhere. You'll enjoy inexpensive parking, short security lines, and the ability to arrive about an hour before most flights. STS offers nonstop service on Alaska, American, and Southwest Airlines, with direct flights to destinations including Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Orange County, Burbank, Ontario, Palm Springs (seasonal), San Diego, Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, and Dallas, plus easy connections throughout the U.S.

And here's one of our favorite perks for wine lovers: Both Alaska Airlines and Southwest Airlines allow travelers departing from STS to check one case of wine free of charge (properly packed), making it easy to bring home a few favorite bottles from Sonoma County.
