A perfect getaway for a group of friends or families with children. 4 Bedrooms (2 w/Queen beds, 1 w/Bunk bed & Trundle, 1 w/Twin Bed & Trundle. 2 Bathrooms (1 with Stall Shower and Washer/Dryer). Comfortably sleeps 9. A large private deck with gas grill. Only a short trip from Manhattan by train or car, Available for weekly or longer Rentals (6-night minimum). Just steps away from the beach. I usually pack some "essentials" just in case the rental does not have them. This time, no matter what I needed - it was there. Perfect place for two sets of adults (queen beds) and another adult (1 single trundle bed). Kitchen was well stocked, and the personal items such as band-aids, razors, travel toothpaste etc. were abundant. I usually do not book a place with only one toilet, but this trip worked out for all of us. The outdoor shower was wonderful and the garden delightfully loaded with all sorts of goodies: beautiful to sit and contemplate what a great life ocean beach offers. Landlord was also fab - even helped with a disabled traveler in our group. All of us agree, we would stay there again without hesitation.

Cozy cottage beach house

Everything from the warm inviting greetings from the owner to the fully stocked kitchen/house was spot on perfect. The owner was easily accessible, answered all questions and got back in a timely manner. The cottage is so close to the beach which is a HUGE plus!! Couldn’t have asked for a better home to spend our vacation!

A perfect Fire Island cottage inside and out and a most welcoming host!

Staying at Todd's is the warmest vrbo experience imaginable. He is so welcoming, and the place has everything you could want: Beach gear, full kitchen, technology, bikes, toiletries etc. The house is lovely, spacious and homey, and it's a 1 minute walk to the beach! The outdoor deck has lots of space to lounge and eat, the hammocks are cosy, the barbecue top notch, and the outdoor shower is great (there's one inside too). Prior to our trip, Todd answered all our questions promptly by text, down to the smallest detail, in the friendliest most down to earth manner. You will be very happy and satisfied.

This property is beautiful! Upon entering a very private deck, you can smell the abundance of flowers and herbs, fresh vegetables and the salty smell of the surf. The beach is literally 3 houses away. You can hear the ocean soothe you to sleep on one of the hammocks swaying in the shade. Entering the home, the kitchen has everything to cook a wonderful meal. Pots and pans, waffle maker, microwave, french press, toaster oven, kitchen oven, and a well stocked spice pantry. Toiletries are also available...that forgotten toothbrush, the razor that never made it into the luggage, if you forgot it, you'll find it in a well stocked linen closet. The beds are comfortable, cozy comforters and soft sheets. Plenty of pillows for pillow hogs like me. (I take three). A strong ocean breeze provides cool sleeping and a wonderful scent of the ocean. Wi-fi is great, TV provides several channels...Hulu, Netflix, Direct Tv, On Demand. But....you won't be watching TV here! You'll be listening to Smooth Jazz on the surround sound speakers located throughout the house and the outdoor deck. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful place RIGHT by the beach with an awesome host and truly incredible neighbors

Truly beautiful property with a ton of character. It was full of love and provided our family the perfect launchpad for a week of relaxing. We grilled every night. We picked fresh veggies out of the garden. We were at the beach on our towels from door to sand in 4 minutes every day. Todd not only welcomed us but made sure we had every single thing we needed to have a relaxing week on his unique home. It was our first time on Fire Island but we can't imagine coming back any other way.

Wonderful FI home! Kitchen has all supplies you will need. Deck and outdoor shower are great. Very short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this wonderful home!

Fabulous place

The house and deck were just perfect. Great outdoor shower. The kitchen was very well appointed. I have been to a fair amount of houses on Fire Island and this one is exceptional. Very tranquil and the beach is just around the corner.

Exceeded all expectations!

I have rented numerous homes on Fire Island over the past several years and this was our favorite house, hands down. The home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-equiped and packed with ammenities, including bikes, tons of beach chairs/umbrellas and boogie boards. The spacious patio w/grill, herb and vegetable garden, hammocks and outdoor shower was pure heaven. Conveniently located near beach, bay and town. The owner welcomed us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. A true gem. If fate allows, we will be returning soon.
