Unit 213 has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, beautiful decor, and amazing water views!

This second floor condo was new to the rental market for 2013 and is located close to the fitness center and swimming pool. It is beautifully decorated in a coastal theme. There are many custom upgrades such as cherry wood floors, granite counter tops, and Jenn Air appliances. It is the only unit in Sunset Bay with an extra large shower with multiple jets in the Master Bath. It also has an open lay-out and all of the amenities in Unit 103 (our first condo at Sunset Bay - VRBO #304765) including a gel fuel fireplace. There is a custom shower instead of a jetted tub in the Master Bath.

Beautiful second floor condo in Sunset Bay is located has a breathtaking sunset view over the marina with a deck that spans the length of the condo. It has an open layout in the main living area with granite counter tops in the kitchen. You can see the bay from the living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as the Master Bedroom. The twin bedroom also has a unique Assateague mural done by local artist Jan Eichfeld.

Come & stay in this unit that feels like an upscale hotel with all the comforts of home. There are two LCD TVs - one in the living room with a DVD player and one in the Queen Bedroom. The kitchen has granite countertops & brand new appliances including a stainless steel refrigerator. The tv stand in the living room has a gel fuel fireplace. There are sliding doors to the deck from the living room and the Master Bedroom with breathtaking sunset views!

Beautiful apartment, immaculately kept

We always stay in this block of apartments. This was our first time in this articular apartment Beautiful view and especially sunsets are something to look for. Swimming pool is a plus and only a few blocks away from supermarket and very nice bookshop. Highly reccomend

Excellent Stay!

Great home base for a stay on Chincoteague! Immaculate and modern 3BR with easy access to the pool. We recently stayed with our kids and grandkids. King size master bedroom is on the opposite side from the other bedrooms which gave us a little privacy. Spa-like shower and beautiful water view. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and we appreciated the washer and dryer. My kids had so much fun crabbing and fishing off the docks. Amazing sunsets! Location is walking distance to several restaurants and gift shops. Great location and easy to get anywhere. Annie, the owner, was so hospitable ahead of our visit and took the time to explain the layout of the island and her family’s favorite spots! Definitely helped us make the most of our visit. Can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect vacation spot

We arrived at sunset and the view was breathtaking. The place is well kept and beautifully decorated. Annie took great care of us before our arrival and during our stay. She was easily accessible, very responsive, and provided us with great suggestions. We had a wonderful time at Sunset Bay Villa and look forward to returning in the future!

Excellent host and location

Host was very accommodating and most helpful. Checking in was hassles free. House was well equipped, comfortable, nice and cozy, Its a home away from home. We will definitely come back.

Breathtaking sunsets and sunrises

Location of this apartment is outstanding! Very spacious rooms enough for my family of 6 who had an awesome time. Walking distance to anything we need in the island. My son had even the opportunity to learn how to catch (and release) crabs from the docks. The sunsets are simply magical. The view of the bay is unique and we all took advantage of the large balcony and chairs. The breeze from the bay was wonderful. Communication with the owner (Annie) was straightforward and her responsiveness is superb. Every question was answered and any concern immediately addressed. It’s clear she takes pride on ensuring the comfort of her guests. We’ll definitely stay again there!

Perfect Chincoteague Stay!

We stayed for a weekend getaway in June and this property was ideal for our family of four. Everything was as advertised, the property was clean and fully ready. Check in was easy, and Annie did a fantastic job communicating. Superb western sound / sunset view, and if you can be here for a launch, Wallops Island is perfectly in view. The unit is an ideal size, with the master bedroom on the other end of the unit from the secondary bedrooms, so privacy is excellent. The beach chairs were much appreciated, and the boys made good use of the large crab trap right off the dock on property. Great fun! This unit lacks nothing and is an ideal base for a Chincoteague holiday. We will be staying here again on our next trip to the island.

Labor Day Weekend in Chincoteague

Annie's condo was the perfect location for a long weekend family getaway to Chincoteague! The condo has beautiful waterfront views overlooking the bay, and a great balcony to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings. Sunset Bay Villas is in a fantastic location in Chincoteague - close to shopping and restaurants. The condo itself is a very nice space, spacious and relaxing. It was a great visit and I'm looking forward to returning!

Comfortable with a great view.

I just stayed in this property for the weekend. This apartment is very big and comfortable. Has a great layout. Has a nice balcony with a relaxing view. Great location-near many restaurants and stores. Convenient parking lot with lots of spaces. Highly recommended.

Very nice!

Loved the balcony and view of the water - although it's a side view with the house being surrounded by other condos. Very accommodating and clean. Owner was a pleasure to work with. Do be aware to the fact you need to bring or purchase your own toilet paper, paper towels, and kleenex.

Great vacation!

The condo was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We had a wonderful time! The only downside was the kitchen cookware. I would definitely stay here again. Annie was so great to work with; she answered every text promptly and was very kind and accommodating.

Truly our vacation home away from home

This was our second year visiting Chincoteague and staying at Annie's beautiful condo on the bay. It's spacious and beautifully decorated but not fussy. The living room and master bedroom feature spectacular views of the bay. Sunsets on the balcony are not to be missed. During our week we enjoyed a lot of activities, including swimming in the ocean and birding at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge; a fantastic boat trip where we saw Assateague ponies up close (as well as dolphins); a movie at the nostalgic and comfortable theater on Main Street; pony rides and lessons, and the best ice cream ever at Island Creamery. This condo community is one of the few vacation rentals with a pool, so every day our 4 and 7 year old girls got to swim and play with other kids in the pool--instant friends. And because the condo is so comfortable, we were able to spend some quiet time relaxing "at home" away from the chores and responsibilities of real life. We hope to come here every year!

Lovely long weekend at Sunset In Paradise

This was one of the best rental experiences we have had. We had a wonderful long weekend at the villa. It is a beautiful space and was very comfortable for our family of five. Annie is an excellent host. She provided us with lots of information about local activities and places to explore around Chincoteague. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Perfect October Getaway

Perfect Place to stay

We didn't want to leave. That was what our game day ladies were saying as they left Annie's condo. The view is beautiful, the rooms are nicely done, the kitchen has what you need if you want to cook and you are close enough to restaurants downtown if you don't. All directions were perfect and the suggestions left by the Switzer's and others were taken, used and appreciated. Couldn't have asked for a better place to get away.

R&R in Paradise

Our group of 7 had an absolutely fantastic weekend here! The property was perfectly equipped to accommodate our group, it was sprinkled with little extras (such as the crab trap - such a fun activity), and the Switzers were fantastic hosts - everything was prepared as listed, all instructions were clearly laid out, and they gave some great recommendations for location attractions/places to eat. We hope to stay here again!

A beautiful place in Chincoteague

I chose the 3 bedroom condo, 213 Sunset Bay Villas, based on the lovely photos and it's location on the water. When I walked into the property and saw the view of the marina, and how spacious the accommodations were I was immediately excited about our stay. The 3 bedrooms are roomy and thoughtfully planned and decorated. The large kitchen and roomy living space met our needs. The corner balcony overlooking the marina was lovely for enjoying coffee in the mornings or a drink after dinner while watching the sunset. The pool was perfect for our family. The location of Sunset Bay Villas on Main Street was convenient to restaurants, the local grocery store and shops. It was only a short drive/bike ride to Maddox Blvd where there are more restaurants and shops. We loved our week in Chincoteague and would stay here again when we return. We would also recommend the property to others. It was cozy and made our week in Chincoteague pleasant and comfortable. The owners were so responsive and always got back to us with an email or voicemail. They were so accommodating, renting from Annie and Todd was so easy.

Great rental gem of Chincoteague!

As the other reviewers have raved, this is an amazing condo. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive and the unit itself is new, clean and well equipped and beautifully decorated. There is a LOT of space in this condo, the elevator was a huge convenience, and the location ideal. Everything from great linens, comfy furniture, top notch appliances, and a great view. The master bath shower IS amazing! Be careful if you have really young kids that are just walking as there are a lot of delicate decorations, I'm sure you could baby proof quickly if you needed, but this place is just way too nice to let your 3 year old trash it. Our 8 year old kids really enjoyed.

We have vacationed in Chincoteague since 2002 and fell in love with this island. It’s just a friendly, beautiful, relaxing place to vacation. It's perfect for families who want to get away from their busy schedules. The Assateague Seashore beaches are beautiful. The Chincoteague Ponies and other wildlife are amazing. The Historic Main Street shopping area is very close to Sunset Bay which also has the best sunset views. Coming for the annual Pony Swim is something everyone should do at least once. We came to the 2009 Pony Swim and ended up buying Unit 103 (VRBO #304765), so that we could keep coming back. We bought this unit in 2012 since we love Chincoteague and Sunset Bay.
