Oceanfront Yurt Vancouver Island

Located in Black Creek, on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Seaview is a 168-acre working farm where green pastures, towering trees and mountain views meet the Strait of Georgia.

Located on a mile of oceanfront, our 800 sq foot Yurt sleeps up to six guests, with all the comforts of home. Comforts include a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom with jetted soaker tub, gas fireplace and so much more! The Yurt is adjacent to 4 seasonal RV sites.

The Yurt sleeps up to six guests, with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the loft and a pull out couch in the living room. All linens and towels are included. There is wrap around deck with a BBQ and outdoor seating. Our outdoor fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows, sharing campfire stories and relaxing under the stars.

Seaview Game Farm knows that pets are an important part of your family and we are happy to have them stay with us. There is fee of $50/stay. Pet owners are fully responsible for their pets during their stay. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times, pick up after your pet, and refrain from leaving them alone in the yurt.

Seaview Game Farm is centrally located on Vancouver Island. With Campbell River to its north, and Courtenay to its south; the farm is a great place to use as your homebase while you explore all the wonders the island has to offer. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming and many more adventures await. With the beach at your doorstep and the comforts of home, Seaview Game Farm is the perfect Vancouver Island getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Seaview Game Farm's Yurt. A beautiful view of the ocean, and a lovely cozy space. Filled with great amenities like coffee and tea, and had everything we needed for a few nights of home cooking. The beds were comfortable, the whole place was very clean, and the bath tub with jets was a luxury! The location of this spot is so spectacular, with a private beach from which we saw seals, otters and plenty of birds, I'm already wanting to come back again for another adventure.

The place is beautiful; right one the ocean which you can hear laying in bed. Wonderfully equipped kitchen wanted for nothing in there. Only recommendation is they need a night light to navigate the stairs at night from the loft

Such an amazing place to stay for our first time on Vancouver Island! We had the most beautiful sunrise to wake up to on the first day. We did have a bit of trouble getting into the gates but that was our fault for getting there so late at night, the host was super responsive when we had that trouble too. So nice to hear the waves at night, great unique place to stay while exploring the island. Would 100% stay here again if I get the chance to come back to the island.

Great one week stay. Being right on the water was fabulous being able to hear the waves for our morning coffee right through to our nights around the fire pit. House was well stocked and very comfortable. Can’t wait to return next summer.

Our family of six (4 teenagers!) and a dog had a wonderful stay! The yurt was spotless when we arrived, fully supplied and toasty warm - a great welcome after a long and cold traveling day. The view/location was gorgeous and to make our experience even better, we were the only ones around so super quiet aside from wild life sounds. Just perfect! There are lots of hiking/walking trails close by to keep you moving and farm animals (even an emu and farm raised deer) to keep things interesting for the kids.Communication with the host was timely and courteous. Exactly what one expects when booking a VRBO.100% amazing stay! We'll be back for sure.

Great spot for a family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the yurt at Seaview Farm. The yurt is really well appointed with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. And the dog was welcomed too with a bed and dishes ready. The location is great, tucked away in a secluded spot right near the water.

Seaview Game Farm is a 168 acres parcel of land in Black Creek, BC, located on one mile of pristine waterfront. The farm can be accessed from either of two entrances; Seaview Road via Miracle Beach Drive or Williams Beach Road.

We have over 200 head of Fallow Deer, 25 Highland Cattle and a few goats. In the spring and summer months, we grow fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers. Retail sales of venison, beef, fresh produce and specialty homemade products made with ingredients grown and raised on the farm are available both on-site and at the Comox Valley Farmers Market.

Seaview Game Farm is also a Vancouver Island vacation destination with site rentals and vacation accommodation including a Yurt and four serviced waterfront RV sites.

Seaview Game Farm is primarily a working farm. A Site is available for rental for group activities, weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Please note: events and parties are not permitted in the Yurt.
